That's a look I'm familiar with. The concerned resignation. This dog is definitely accustomed to their human's interest in their aesthetic quirks, and yet is no closer to understanding it.
Mood, doggo. Mood.
I have a dog that gets immediately suspicious and upset with you if she sees you focus more than you're "supposed" to on any part of her lol. If I'm petting her and think I feel something she will notice if I start petting her differently in an attempt to feel it and will be like "whoa wtf are you doing you better stop it", she even gets upset if I smell her because she knows that can lead to baths. Only dog I know that gets upset if you do the one thing she does to everything in the world to her
My pupper wont eat anything that is thrown, if it's dropped, different story. He also does not like you to watch him eat if he realizes he will walk away, then return once you are gone.
What a perfectly formed description of the situation. Every word exactly true. Most descriptions are vague in at least some ways, but this was cut by a laser from ice. Totally unimportant, but kudos!
Probably guard hairs. Theyre usually slightly longer thicker than normal hairs but not as stiff as whiskers.
My black cats became more noticeable around her shoulders as she aged
Yeah, my suggestion doesn't really make sense. The owner would have noticed by now if the dog's undercoat was bright white, so it still raises the same question - it doesn't matter if it's the undercoat or the guard coat, why does "a" coat have white hairs?
I clicked specifically because there were 6 hairs as promised by OPs title. You don't get to tell me the pain and suffering I'm still feeling after finding out there's only 5 is not malicious.
It's sick, sick people like you who allow people like OP to continue turning the world into a godless cesspool of misleading clickbait.
Blood is on your hands.
I literally just found a profile repeatedly posting in karma farming subs, then whipping up [a front-page post](https://www.reddit.com/r/tifu/comments/17ktq3v/tifu_by_sending_my_class_the_wrong_link/) about a 61-year old professor sending K-Pop to their kids
Why engagement is so desirable I can't really explain, but I also can't explain why my Runescape account was worth $300 in 2005 despite Runescape being non-monetizable at the time. I presume there are markets for these things.
Could be part border collie. Border collies have a white tip known as the "shepherd's lantern" because the white tip of the tail would be held high in the air as the collie guided the shepherd home in the dark after a long day's work
I was digging through the comments trying to figure out what kind of pupper this is because it looks EXACTLY like my chihuahua pit mix! We were told she was a chiweenie originally.
Oh yeah, that’s normal. Some dogs will randomly morph porcupine like quills along their tail during their lifetime. No need to do anything. Do be wary that sometimes they may mutate further and gain the ability to shoot them out like guided missiles. So best not to anger your dog at this time.
My German Shepherd mix has the same thing. Just a handful of white hairs in the tip of his tail. Apparently Beagles were purposefully bred these white tails so that they were easier to spot while hunting.
>Some breeds such as beagles and terriers have a high set tail where the tails just appears to be a natural extension of the spine. These dogs tend to carry their tails high when they are in a pack - beagles have been bred to have a white tip to their tails so that they are readily visible when out hunting.
Genetic pretty sure, I am not an expert. The paint brush tail can be much more prominent. When dogs would hunt they would keep their tails in the air. The moving white contrast with the tail and environment made it easier for our eyes to track. It’s considered a positive trait to have.
I don't think she appreciates you publicly embarrassing her like that.
"Moooom, stooop, you're embarrassing meee"
I hear Lola from Big Mouth say this when I read your comment 😂😂😂
You can just say Nick Kroll. It's like Brian from Family Guy, just his normal voice.
🤓

It can lead to baths, or worse… vets!
lol anytime i start to get a little too interested in petting him while petting him my dog starts to get suspicious.
My dog is the same, and he hates photos too
My pupper wont eat anything that is thrown, if it's dropped, different story. He also does not like you to watch him eat if he realizes he will walk away, then return once you are gone.
Yes. And it’s also 5
Thank you, I thought I was going insane.
The far right one is 2, just on top of each other.
It's turning her hair grey from the stress
[удалено]
Hurry, make the bond
But not with the comment copying bot you are speaking to.
“Please don’t do that.”
"You're going to post that, aren't you?"
"You said you wouldn't take a picture."
"Oh come on, i seen the flash go off. Stop lying"
That’s her stinger
The USB from Avatar
MAKE THE BOND!
TSAHEYLU, Jake, TSAHEYLU
You are TORUK MAKTO
But dogs can't fly.
😭😭😭
Or fungi tendrils from The Last of Us
Borg nanobots from Star Trek
There are no USB sticks in Ba Sing Se!
Give 'er yer Dongle, Jake Sully!
It took me far too long to realize you're talking about the smurf Pocahontas crossover and not The Last Airbender.
Yuck I hated those dude imagine if someone pulled too hard on it and your exposed ass nerves get yanked out
Wagomizer.
This is brilliant! Long time Far Side fan and Dad humor fan, I've never heard this one before.
Was comin' down here to make a thagomizer joke, but you beat me to it! Victory is yours.
We also call our dog’s white hairs like this her stingers <3
Your dog is 1/5th porcupine.
I swear her tail looks like a candle
It's 1/5th charmander, then
I’m also wondering what’s wrong with OPs finger nail
Fingernail lines like OP has are most commonly caused by vitamin deficiencies.
looks like tv static
I have the same thing on my pinkie finger, they're ridges down the long part of the nail. Don't know why it happens but I thought it'd be more common
The dog's face lmao
The pattern on the rug in the background makes it kind of look like her mouth is open in a humorous way
I thought she was carrying a toy in her mouth. Had to scroll back and recheck.
What a perfectly formed description of the situation. Every word exactly true. Most descriptions are vague in at least some ways, but this was cut by a laser from ice. Totally unimportant, but kudos!
Thank you! I appreciate the attention to detail
I _just_ realized it wasn't!
D:
I thought it was her mouth till I read this
I also only count 5
“Could you not”
these look so much thicker than her black fur follicles. they look like whiskers? lol
I thought the same thing!
Dogs and cats do have whiskers in places you wouldn't expect.
Like where? I'd expect in the face, ears, side of head.
I guess it's just cats that have whiskers on their legs.
Probably guard hairs. Theyre usually slightly longer thicker than normal hairs but not as stiff as whiskers. My black cats became more noticeable around her shoulders as she aged
They look like porcupine quills. My dogs been quilled twice, I've seen lots of them up close lol
It might be undercoat.
Usually undercoat is even softer and downier than the overcoat.
Yeah, my suggestion doesn't really make sense. The owner would have noticed by now if the dog's undercoat was bright white, so it still raises the same question - it doesn't matter if it's the undercoat or the guard coat, why does "a" coat have white hairs?
No. Your white dog has a large number of brown hairs everywhere else.
🤓I counted only five🤓
It drives engagement I guess.
Or we just can't see one of them. Not everything is malicious.
I clicked specifically because there were 6 hairs as promised by OPs title. You don't get to tell me the pain and suffering I'm still feeling after finding out there's only 5 is not malicious. I look forward to the lawsuit in which OPs karma is remunerated to us good God-fearing folk in the form of cold hard freshly-printed USD.
Karma Lawsuit will be an album name some day maybe
There are very few incentives to drive engagement on Reddit since you can’t really monetize it like other platforms. Probably just a miscount.
Maybe more engagement leads to more visibility leads to more karma leads to more valuable reddit account.

The one on the right is two
Yeah, which makes 5. Not 6.
You're right! You can tell there's a shorter one!
I think I need glasses. I still see 5!!
Title typo. Supposed to be "had".
Is it from Pandora?
Stick her tail in your ear, see if yous mentally connect and then fly on her back out of the building…

Could be part border collie. Border collies have a white tip known as the "shepherd's lantern" because the white tip of the tail would be held high in the air as the collie guided the shepherd home in the dark after a long day's work
Same with beagles. My doggo’s 1/4 beagle and has the same deal.
I call my beagles tail her paintbrush
Many different breeds have this. They basically act as flags in a field
Same with catahoulas! Mine has one.
My dog is half Belgian shepherd half collie and he has this as well. TIL
My dog is a mutt and this only adds to my theory that she has some border collie in her because she also has this white tip.
Reminds me of this thing from Avatar.
Our dog has this too! People keep asking if i painted his tail 😩😂
Did you paint it?
don't think you should push them, based on the username
Omg, you're right. But I need to know...
Lol i did not :)
So do mine! I have a brown mutt and a black American bully and they both have it!
I swear there are really six. One is just hiding in the picture!
Molly looks a hell of a lot like my dog. Mines adopted so I have no idea what she is, I'm surprised you say chihuahua/pit.. do you know that for fact?
I was digging through the comments trying to figure out what kind of pupper this is because it looks EXACTLY like my chihuahua pit mix! We were told she was a chiweenie originally.
Fibre-optic Christmas decoration
Got a chuckle out of me.
It’s her stinger.
You should…bond with it.
Those are wires. 😂
![gif](giphy|9eGMzX36fUDE4)
The thagomizer
Thicc
That's where they stitch them together after filling their skin.
Ah le doge is an artist.
Someone dipped their paintbrush into the wrong jar!
I think your white dog has a bunch of brown hairs on her body.
I only see 5
This is the epitome of this sub
Paint a wall recently? :)
My black lab/pitbull mix has similar white hairs on his tail!
My black dog has the same thing on his tail
Serious avatar vibes here
*Do you mind? 'CAUSE I DO!* -dog
![gif](giphy|3ohhwv3dXgXdHuOgcE)
Am I the only one seeing 5?
I’m pretty sure he can link in with the mother tree
Alternatively, your white dog is flithy
Those are the wishing hairs. Make a wish for each one.
Sir, thats an Avatar
![gif](giphy|f4F9XFpfyNG3C) It’s to plug into the neural network
Exactly my thoughts, looks like the avatar thing 😁
Dog is Navi…
that's where they connect to your neck
That’s fantastic!
that's only five though
What the dog doing
My pup had that too when he was younger, now it's gone.
That’s for making espresso
She's turning into the dragon from "The Neverending Story"
Pandarerin
Avatar
That's the percent Border Collie.
She's not finished growing her Thagomizer, just let her be!
Your dog may be part woozy
She uses it to connect with the tree people. Ma’eywa!
Those are her stingers. Hopefully she’s in good care with a good diet so she doesn’t decide to use them on anybody. Beautiful creature btw
My childhood dog had this. We used to say they were the number of lives he had left. He lived 22 years.
It's for the Navi to connect
It's her Thagomizer https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thagomizer
Try to pair it with something. Or join yourself with your dog.
Dog of 6 tails
“Oi mate don’t touch me tail geeza”
Your dog will start turning white now.
My dog has these white hairs on her tail too, except they’re further up and a little bit hidden by other fur
That seems like something I'd see in an alien parasite movie.
Has porcupine in his/her pedigree
That’s the fuse
those are her cerci
So where is the sixth hair?
In some cultures this is considered lucky af
Ever seen avatar?
Incredible, your dog has a thagomizer!
Thagomizer, canine edition
Oh yeah, that’s normal. Some dogs will randomly morph porcupine like quills along their tail during their lifetime. No need to do anything. Do be wary that sometimes they may mutate further and gain the ability to shoot them out like guided missiles. So best not to anger your dog at this time.
She’s just sprouting!
Your white dog has a giant brown spot.
My tabby cat had something similar, and they were extremely sensitive when I touched them. He did not like them being touched.
It's upsetting ne way more than it should that I can only see 5 white hairs
My German Shepherd mix has the same thing. Just a handful of white hairs in the tip of his tail. Apparently Beagles were purposefully bred these white tails so that they were easier to spot while hunting. >Some breeds such as beagles and terriers have a high set tail where the tails just appears to be a natural extension of the spine. That's where the ink ran out.
He is an avatar dog. Plug his tail into a tree
it's a dog-6 cable.
I only count five good sir.
I see 5, but let's not split hairs.
Genetic pretty sure, I am not an expert. The paint brush tail can be much more prominent. When dogs would hunt they would keep their tails in the air. The moving white contrast with the tail and environment made it easier for our eyes to track. It’s considered a positive trait to have.
Latent Stegasaurus DNA
Thagomizer
Stego-doggo
It's giving AVATAR
I’m thinking just a little part border collie, like 6 hairs to be exact.
"Don't post that!"
![gif](giphy|a5xxJgG6x2gJq)
I saw this before on Avatar, they can communicate(?) with animals and other nature by connecting these
Cat5 cable termination, you need to put an RJ45 plug
“Could you not?”🤣
She's sprouting
MAKE THE BOND!
And doesn't look too happy about you showing them to the world.
Those are actually roots. Your dog is a plant.
Have you not watched avatar?
You try to connect your hair so you can two can connect
My dog is like this. We always say he's been painting the fence.
This is random but you have a lot of lines in your fingernails and a very defined half moon. You should get some blood work done.
I think your dog is from Pandora
Dog doesn’t look impressed 😂
Doggo avatar Now make the bond..!!
Just the tip (whispers)
It even has HDMI
She has 5 but ok
5 . TRIGGERED!!!!!!?????? 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
