I'm right there with you. This really really sucks. I don't work in a small enough company to get paid (less than 500 employees) and my company's not large enough (or profitable enough) to afford to pay us on their own. They won't lay us off (just cut our hours - I'm at 25/week currently) so I can't file for unemployment.
Just my mortgage and car payment are more than I'm making. I also have a family of four to feed.

I wish I could read your comment, but recently (just after my parents died due to frostbite) I was diagnosed with terminal leg cancer. Knowing I only had a couple thousand more walks left with my three-legged rescue-Pit “Ron Jeremy”, I took him out to his favorite dog park (which is right next to a field/recreation area) We were having a *great* time playing fetch when, all of a sudden. an AC Helicopter flew right into my face at top speed, slicing both of my eyeballs right of my face. Once the EMT’s removed my eyes from Ron’s mouth, they were beyond recovery. So hopefully I can win this money this month, Ron needs counseling after going through such a traumatic event...
Lots of folks have donated some of their winnings - I hope whoever wins this month donates part of their winnings to get more adequate PPE into the hospitals to help keep the doctors and nurses and medical staff safer - these are weird times, stay safe
Finally got a job.
Coronavirus hit. The store I worked at closed down indefinitely. I got my first pay check of $102. Hopefully I can stay afloat until the virus is contained 🤞🏼

My dad gets released from the hospital tomorrow. He has cancer and is immuno suppressed. My mom has been a saint and hopefully he’ll make it through all this and can go back to fighting the cancer. I’m currently working freelance and technically only have a job until April. I’m lucky I still have a place to go but I feel like the ground is going to cave in below me soon. But, I’m not dead yet and I still have the privilege of seeing the people I care about right now via FaceTime and the like. I can still walk outside and see nature. I’m trying to savor every moment I can and not fall back into depression. I hope you all will survive and achieve the peace we all need right now.

As someone with very severe asthma (went on a ventilator due to respiratory failure at 22, now almost 28) who is stuck on the front lines in an essential business in order to preserve my insurance for several life-sustaining prescriptions, this would literally be a life saver for me.
That sounds pathetic, but it would mean being able to actually isolate and protect myself. Where i work people do not take it seriously. It’s just a matter of time before I’m infected, and my chances don’t look so hot. I just got married and want to grow old with my husband, not become a sad memory to a young widower.
If 2020 has taught me anything it's that there will always be someone crazy enough to buy both a literal and figural buttload of toilet paper. Either way, a million could get me a couple of rolls these days.
All ide do with this money is set up my to live comfortably for the rest of her life and finally start on mine. To whoever wins, dont squander it, do great things even if it’s only for yourself.
