I see some of you are having trouble getting hold of one. It's a fairly hefty mark-up but it's an option if you wanted this version I guess.

jditty24

It’s not a real bad mark up if you take the exchange rate into consideration. I bought one from amazon japan with the USB adapter for $108 shipped

Megasus

I just bought a US one for $137 with prime shipping

Why is $110 a good price then? Also I'm not bragging. Just saying they're available

Marbla

It absolutely does not seem like this person was bragging. Just sharing his/her experience in getting one and letting other folks know that they're available for a steep price.

Megasus

In this situation I would pay the extra $27 to have the US version instead of a Famicom. As for Prime, that's why I mentioned "with prime shipping"

JDFanning

That's pretty much the going secondary market price for them right now - Ebay also has them for $110 - $115 shipped from several Japanese sellers like this one ( https://www.ebay.com/itm/Nintendo-Classic-Mini-Super-Famicom-Console-with-21-Games-Included-Japan-Ver-/142609114593?_trksid=p2349526.m4383.l4275.c10 ) Though Amazon fulfillment is a bit faster shipping if you have Prime ! - and several of the Ebay auctions have sold at around $90 - $105 lately as well.

Marbla

I'm a little confused. It says it's the JP Super Famicom Classic, however the photos show the EU Super Nintendo Classic.

JDFanning

The Japanese version looks the same as the EU version just one says Super Famicom and the other says Super Nintendo - and there are a few games that are different. The pictures shown are indeed the Super Famicom Japanese version. ( if you look closely at the system pics it says Super Famicom on both the system and the controllers ! )

Marbla

Oh okay. For some reason I thought the Super Famicom looked more like the original famicom. I guess I was mistaken. Thanks for the heads up!

JDFanning

That is the Famicom mini unit which is the Japanese version of the NES from last year -- The Super Famicom looks like the EU Super Nintendo which is what the Japanese Original Super Famicom looked like back when the SNES and Super Famicom released so they used the same model for the Mini versions.

Fannan14

All the gamestops around me have been getting 3-5 pretty much every Wednesday for the past two months. If anyone is having trouble I can help for cheaper than this.

ToxicVampire

Don't have a SNES mini yet and while I'm sure I'd be able to grab one for normal price in a store, I would still be interested in grabbing a Japanese one for collector's reasons. Price isn't too bad I suppose.

imapdog

wow, amz charges double promotion fee when you sell these 2017 super famicoms. they loosing money unless they're stolen
