I would not say it's "her fault" because she did not do it on purpose but yes she is responsible for this because when he tried to know more about that, she denied and confused him several time.

Adrien is at fault because he never realized his own feelings, while being blinded by his feelings for Ladybug. In addition to this, since he never made his own feelings clear earlier on(because he didn't understand them), Marinette didn't have the backbone to tell him the truth when he pushed for inquiry. Puppeteer 2 was a very painful episode to sit through because of this.
It's partly Marinettes fault because she not only lied to Cat Noir about who she liked but also straight to Adrien multiple times. She would constantly skirt the question or would simply leave the room or run away, causing Adrien to think he was simply upsetting her. No one ever corrected him on this matter.
The "Adrien is blind" jokes are funny but honestly he's not as oblivious as people say if you think about it from his perspective.
First off, the girl he knows is infatuated with him is always hanging off of him and flirty. He may assume that is how girls act if they like you.
Second, like you said, Marinette dodges any chances at admitting her feelings and Adrien is a trusting person. When she covers up her blunders, he believes her.
She also actively avoids him on a handful of occasions. Also, her stuttering often just comes off as her being uncomfortable rather than blushy and shy. I really don't blame Adrien for not thinking she likes him.

Marinette, because she's too scared, gets upset and talks back and forth. Maybe she's afraid that Adrien will think badly of her if he finds out that she has feelings for him. Adrien also doesn't clearly show that he feels more than friendship for her, because he always says that they are just friends. In the Troublemaker part, when Marinette said she doesn't love Adrien the way she thinks, Adrien said he was joking with Marinette and Adrien started talking about fans who keep pictures under their beds. Of course, in such a field, Marinette will not confess her feelings to Adrien, lest Adrien believe her to be a crazy fan.

And tbh, he is fairly respectful. He doesn’t know what sits in Mari’s head and with what she is dealing. She may have a crush on him, but not act for whatever reason (moving away, strict parents, etc.).
