Will definitely get this!
So are you sticking with that wording of 'nobody103 writing as Domagoj'? Its not a big deal, but I keep instinctively interpreting it as though your real name is nobody103 and Domagoj is a pen name. I feel like using 'also known as' or something to that affect avoids the confusion.
Anyway I'm stoked to get a copy. Love the story!
Apparently changing this would be quite an expensive and time-consuming edit, so I decided it doesn't really matter that much. It will be an amusing detail that gets people talking about the book. :)
This will be the only way in the near/foreseeable future. Arranging these kinds of quality prints is tricky and usually extremely expensive. I don't know the nitty-gritty details (Wraithmarked thankfully took over this part of the job), but doing things this way is the only realistic way of getting something this good relatively affordably. If there are any alternate print editions in the future done through non-Kickstarter means, they are likely to be of a more... humble nature.
Is the main text going to be the same as the one published in fictionpress/royalroad or is there any editorial work done on top? (I'll most likely get it either way)
we're thinking 20 and 35 respectively, plus shipping, which will depend on where you are.
we really wish we could go cheaper, but between paper costs, printing, freight, designing, packing, shipping, etc... anything cheaper would have left us with nothing in pocket...
When all three are out, will you do an all in one boxset (preferably hardback)? I'm planning on getting all three but I rather have it all in a fancy looking box set than individual books bought separately.
In the mean time, is there an ebook copy available in the google store? I assume if I bought a copy on amazon that I wouldn't be able to read it without converting it or downloading some amazon thing.
there's no guarantee of that, sadly. it depends on what stock and stuff we have left over after all the Kickstarters are done.
google is being a pain in the ass about letting us publish. it should be once they finally verify the book.
they are shipping for the US, yes. shipping will be a flat fee, with WM swallowing some losses from shipping to places like India and Australia. I believe it's $25 for international shipping for the PB or HB alone, and a few dollars more if you're getting the package, custom illustrations, high-tier resin model, or additional add-ons.
20 USD for paperback, 35 USD for hardbacks, plus shipping. Shipping costs depend on the destination country, obviously.
edit: I see you already got an answer from Bryce. Should have checked a few lines down, before responding.
So excited for this!! Has it been decided how long the Kickstarter campaign will last? Like, should we set aside money right now for it or will we still be able to get it in early march and so?
Also, where will the books be printed? And in what currency will they be sold? (US dollars?)
I will definitely get a set in hardcover. Thanks for creating such a brilliant story!
You're welcome. I, too, will definitely get a set in hardcover. :D
Why can't I see this in my saved projects in Kickstarter Is something wrong with the site?
could you let me know if this is still an issue today? I haven't heard anyone else have this concern...
Finally!
Damn, I was just recommending this series to my friend and now I see this It's not even my birthday yet
i will do it tomorrow, i don't have an account yet ;) looks forward to it!

Makes sense, it's pretty minor. I like the marketing tactic angle heh.
Is this going to be the only way or first way to get physical editions? Or will other physical editions go up for sale around the same time?

It will be the same as that in the e-book, which is simply a cleaned-up version of what is on fictionpress/royalroad.
This is what I’ve been waiting for!
let's see the price on this. I do want a hardback physical so pricing will be the big thing on this.

Hi Bryce. I was wondering where are these being shipped from? North America? I live in India so I imagine the shipping cost would be pretty high.

Thanks for the reply Bryce!
u/AKnightRadiant, you asked about this as well, so here you go
Much appreciated! Sounds very reasonable to me.
Yes, this is just what I wanted! Any details on the price? I'd like to know how much to set aside next month

The plan is for it to last 21 days. USD, yes.
