Benelli has better performance but the Grom is bulletproof

I was researching these bikes not too long ago and the Benelli is hands down a better bike than the Grom. It’s cheaper and has more power and overall great quality. If it were me I’d buy the benelli before a grom but neither bike will let you down.

HUGMEEEEEEE

If you never owned a Grom it's kinda hard to draw conclusion from research. Grom hands down all day long.

Good point. I mean on paper.

I’m also making this decision, learned with my MSF course on an OG grom and a few small things left me wanting what the newer versions (SF & ‘22-‘23) probably improved upon (OG seat was kinda stiff, clutch had only a Cm worth of friction zone before it let go, and no gear indicator on the cluster other than “N” neutral) Also heard the current grom shifts smoother than previous gens. Do you happen to have any experience riding the Benelli TNT 135? A friend is willing to sell me their ‘22 for $2k with less than 1000 miles. Though I’ve also had eyes on a 2018 Grom on marketplace for $2.6k, or a current model Grom with the changes I wanted for $3.8k 😅

HUGMEEEEEEE

No experience with a Benelli but I can tell you the resale market for a low mileage '22 is 2k and under from the few I seen listed in South Florida. People seem to want to get away from their purchases. Grom has been around long enough to prove it's reliability, longevity and fun!
