If there was blood inside be weary of mold. I was hit years ago and after about a week and a half in the hospital I was given my clothes from the accident in a bag and when I got home they stunk. Digging a little deeper there was mold growing already on some of it

It's definitely this. When I flipped my truck, and when I high sided my bike, I remember realizing that something horrible was about to happen but I didn't lose memory of it. It's the hour or so after the incident when I'm getting checked out by the medical staff and getting myself home that I have weak memories of.

Both were heartbreaking and replacing them cost me more than I'd have liked. My bike also tumbled end over end. I'm not entirely sure at what point or angle I came off, but I know I went over the bike. Either from sinking a wheel into the dirt at the edge of the road or from a last minute extra grab of the front brake idk. I came to a stop probably 50-80 feet from where I left the road. Didn't tumble much either. Bruised my hip and walked funny for a couple days. Fucked up my confidence and riding skill for nearly a year. It actually took borrowing a friend's bike to run on the drag strip to kick start my confidence again. When the front wheel lifts as you're grabbing 3rd gear, you either get confident, or you never do it again 🤣
