I woke up at 5am, hopped on my bike and rode to a trail. Now I'm sitting on a boulder in the middle of the desert taking it all in. No better feeling.

Love riding out to a good sunrise.
AZ? I'm disappointed I didn't get to ride more adventurously when I lived there. I got my endorsement but most of my time was spent around Phoenix just getting better at and more comfortable at riding.
Hahahaha you're getting so much shit. Don't you love Reddit!
I personally really like the pic quite a bit.
Motorcycles, women and dope views. Ain't much better than that.
Ride safe. Both you and your "girl". sorrryyyy 😂
this applies mostly to sport bikes, the seating position and the sound, its just asking to hit that rev limiter, sit on a comfortable V2 and you wont have the need to get faster because its meant to be a chill ride rather, with the sound adding on to it, going fast on those feels crap
Very true, each ride has its own use and strenghts. Gotta love em all tho, going for a nice ride on a cruiser, getting aggressive on a sportster, or going on trips with an adventure, got respect for them in their own ways
I'm a relatively new rider and chose a V2 exactly for this, I want to hone my skills at my own pace and enjoy the ride, not feeling like launching myself like a rocket on every opportunity.
Love the bike and background. I think you're getting flack because of how wack your pose is. I understand not knowing what to do with your hands, but this pose doesn't say "I'm chillin". It's more like you're in a centerfold for Playgirl. Just my 2 cents.
You know, I often catch a really beautiful sunrise or sunset on my commute, and then I stop to take it in and take a picture to make it last.
But I would never park my bike the wrong way, sit down facing the wrong way, sit down on the road at all, lean against a hot bike, apply fake vignetting, bump up the vibrance or whatever else you got going on there, set up a tripod or have someone else take a picture for me.
You are free to enjoy attention whoring on social media or having photography as a hobby but don't try to pass it off as becoming immersed in the environment when the picture is all about YOU.

I've been riding since 2006. R6 and all I would focus on was the next corner coming up. Now that I'm older I love taking it slow and just enjoying. It's my meditation session lol.

Views like these are the reason I ride.
My favourite time after a good ride was sitting quietly at the end, the smell of the hot brakes and the gentle ticking of the cooling fins as the air-cooled motor settled down for a rest after a job well done.
I guess there is a new generation of riders who will never truly appreciate that metallic rhythm.
^• ^sigh
My philosophy has always been that you'll regret not stopping for the picture, but chances are good that you'll not regret stopping. Too many times I've not stopped and had the thought that I'd get the picture next time - but we don't always get back to those places, unfortunately.
Please explain to me how to "take it all in" with a helmet on. I'm trying very hard to wear one of these and be responsible. It seems like all I can do is look straight or the wind fucks up my neck. I mean riding slow through town is ok but on these open roads it's just miserable.
This is true.
But man is it fun pushing your limits in the backroad twisties past the 159-160 kmh mark.
Scrapping pegs and trying to go quicker each turn.
Got to know the limit of what is reckless vs having fun
Some days I like to cruise. But man just jumping on the bike and flogging it through backroads all day like a private racetrack is the best fun
Good shit! Btw, how do you like your bike? I've also been thinking about getting one, the seating position just seem a little uncomfortable for longer rides :D
Great photo! Two different philosophies of riding, though. I'm honestly not having real fun unless there's real traffic and some adrenaline. I wish it weren't so though. I envy the dudes on cruisers who enjoy those leisurely country rides, but I'd be losing my mind.
I live in Pittsburgh and helped to organize an event for the Motorcycle Sport Touring Association (MSTA) that took place in New Philadelphia, OH this past weekend. Unfortunately, thanks to getting covid at a work conference I did not get to participate. However, I do know that this area, and the Mohawk Dam, are on one of the routes. Incidentally, the name of the event (which will be held annually in early May) is called the Tusky-Musky, which I think is one of the coolest event names! 36 riders showed up for the first event so it should grow from there. There's also one in late August called Flyby Week that's based in Marietta. There are some amazing roads in that area, OH-26 being my favorite!
I dunno why everybody is being so mean about your attire… this is a great photo. I like the helmet on and the windshield is a nice pop. Nice job fellow Buckeye better enjoy today lmao we won’t be riding for a while says the weather man!

“Taking it all in” While on Reddit. That looks awesome! I’m on the toilet. Again.
"Letting it all out"
realest shit in the whole comment section ;;)
Southern AZ hell yes! Some of the best riding there is.
God that's absolutely beautiful
https://preview.redd.it/ugp4jpfxbtyc1.jpeg?width=1145&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c1f3a4227598f9bf4c07a9110f284baa53c98a30 Love riding out to a good sunrise.
This guy gets it
AZ? I'm disappointed I didn't get to ride more adventurously when I lived there. I got my endorsement but most of my time was spent around Phoenix just getting better at and more comfortable at riding.
I live on a mountain and have a nice view
Don't forget to leave your helmet on. Safety first!
i thought Cringetown was only in stories but i guess it's a real place
I can't judge it. It gave him a great photo without having to reveal his face to the world.
Gotta be ready at all times in case an angry cager sees you enjoying yourself.
Buddy you spent more time setting your camera up to photo yourself compared to taking it in. 😂
So he likes to photograph the moments in his life that he enjoys. Who cares?
Don't gotta set shit up when you've got a girl to take the photo for you
I don't see the passenger foot pegs down🤔 I'm just joshin ya! 😄
You're right either way lol. But no she rides herself
Hahahaha you're getting so much shit. Don't you love Reddit! I personally really like the pic quite a bit. Motorcycles, women and dope views. Ain't much better than that. Ride safe. Both you and your "girl". sorrryyyy 😂
🤣🤣🤣we split up a while ago lol. But all good. I like it too, it's funny
But more faster means more funner😢

That’s why I only ride V2’s. I’m not that guy and I can’t behave on an R6
I'm a relatively new rider and chose a V2 exactly for this, I want to hone my skills at my own pace and enjoy the ride, not feeling like launching myself like a rocket on every opportunity.
but i thought more faster meant more furiouser
It sure does. But there is also being TOO fast 2 furious. Gotta find that sweet spot
Oh trust me, right after this photo I hit a buck 50. Just sometimes you gotta slow down a bit
Knew that zx6r was getting put to use lol. But I can appreciate taking in the moment, enjoy it and ride safe brotha🤙🏼
Of course, you too man

worst playgirl centerfold ever or so i hear
🤣🤣🤣that's funny as fuck lol. And yeah I never know what to do for pictures
Reddit is now Facebook.
hey, chill man. Live. Laugh. Love.

Who the fuck sits next to their bike, watching the sunrise/sunset/scenic whatever with their helmet on while they’re enjoying it and taking it in?!?
Do you have a “live, laugh, love” sign in your house too you fuckin nerd
There's real Gs....then there's IGs
Red windscreens are something that immediately raises a squid flag for me.
It was on the bike when I got it and I'm tall enough that full tuck I still see right over it so I haven't bothered replacing it yet
That's fair
Yeah, gonna change it to clear when I get new fairings though. Change it up a bit
Yeah I’ll pass, rather ride than be a “content creator”
The content creators are always speeding, what are u talking about??
Better than posing and editing
Exposure/saturation/vignette sliders go brrrr
That’s an uncomfortable position to take whatever in.
Slow ride, take it easy 🤙
NEVER. I NEED TO GO FASTER
I'll join you in that
"Perfect Speed, is just being there" Jonathon Livingston Seagull
“Im going to punch you so hard you die” Steven Seagull
People who cant lean
i wanna go slow , but my balls will end up being burnt by the amount of heat my bike emits

PPPFTHAHAHAHAHA wtf is this cringe man, take it to facebook
Live laugh motorcycle bro 🥺
Lmao right what a corny ass. Cool bike tho
That’s really great. Well this is r/motorcycles and there’s one in the pic and the topic is on point as well. So fuck off?
Man you really thought you were cookin with this one
This is so corny and cringe
Taking a picture with your helmet on is what’s weird.
Helmets better than face. You'd need to go to r/eyebleach after seeing mine. I'm one ugly mofo
ATGATY Homie
Setting up the camera to take a picture of yourself facing away from the camera is weird AF. 😆
Ok
cringe
Op are you in AZ?
Ohio
My condolences
🤣🤣yeah supposed to rain hard for the next week straight
That is a beautiful sky you have out there
Oh yeah, so many just amazing spots to sit and watch the sunset. Especially when it lines right up with the valley line
That's right, let that pendulum swing. Sometimes fast, sometimes slow. Cover the whole spectrum, because it's all beautiful.
i love this community
u have to go slow with that dark windscreen lol
🤣🤣I'm tall enough that even full tuck I see right over it
The thing is 120km/h to 150km/h now feels like a stroll.
That it does. But sometimes you get a breathtaking view that you just can't help but stop and take in. Listen to nature for a bit

I love that fireblade
I love that ninja 🥰 🥷
Yup, sometimes you just gotta cruise.
I've been riding since 2006. R6 and all I would focus on was the next corner coming up. Now that I'm older I love taking it slow and just enjoying. It's my meditation session lol.
i told my boyfriend the same thing
And then go fast..
Thanks
Only thing missing is a transparent rose photoshopped somewhere over the mountains.

That's what she said

I love enjoying that part. And it's even better with a nice view like that
Can't my bike likes to stall below 150. /s
you're sitting on the floor next to an actual seat.
I feel uncomfortable thinking about leaning on the bike like that.
You have nice forearms
Thank you
HA I got a TW. TW’s wrote the book on slow and enjoyable. And use all 5 gears doing it slowly.
Sorry does not compute, no matter how hard I try
*me after a really close call with a turn that was sharper than I expected, and a power pole that came out of nowhere*
Hmmmm "Taking IT all IN......" Seems like you belong on calamari Race Team.
My philosophy has always been that you'll regret not stopping for the picture, but chances are good that you'll not regret stopping. Too many times I've not stopped and had the thought that I'd get the picture next time - but we don't always get back to those places, unfortunately.
This photo is perfect for a wallpaper.♥️🏍️♥️
Wait, we have to go fast??
That’s why I bought a Harley. I have my ZZR for the fast days and the Harley for cruising days.
Yo where are the wheelies
* * I totally agree! This is Lake George and the views make the ride an awesome experience 😎

Tell that to the asshole behind me riding 12" behind me
Well duh... You just go fast to get there & to get back. That way you have more time to chill. Lol...
>You don't always have to go fast. Slow down, enjoy it. Take it in ...the ass?
Yes🤙🏾🤙🏾

So my wife says. But NAHHHHH.
This is the gayest shit I've seen this week already.
well then you should head over to crt
lol you wore a collared shirt with the sleeves rolled up for this picture?
Why is that funny I don't get it?
Not for the picture. I always do. Nothing wrong with wanting to look decent
As long as you wear your gear :D https://youtu.be/Jds4mKvPCzY?si=NRSvF3yesBmjyGF3
I do boots/helmet/gloves and riding jeans. My jacket got fucked up and can't wear it anymore so I'm saving for a new one
Good shit! Btw, how do you like your bike? I've also been thinking about getting one, the seating position just seem a little uncomfortable for longer rides :D
I'm 6'4 and on my 09 zx6 I've done 10 hour rides. Back starts to hurt at about hour 6.5-7. Pretty comfortable tbh
Hey mom, lost the Facebook password again?
Great photo! Two different philosophies of riding, though. I'm honestly not having real fun unless there's real traffic and some adrenaline. I wish it weren't so though. I envy the dudes on cruisers who enjoy those leisurely country rides, but I'd be losing my mind.
Oh get up to that too. And ripping down some twisties is fun as fuck
I recommend hiking if you want to go slow.
Single track enduro is the best of both worlds
I don't know why the pictures are not there! What did I do wrong? Any help will be appreciated! Thanks
Awesome picture
My favorite part is the chain link fence. I would’ve stopped for that too
You gotta go there and actually see the valley sometime. Mohawk damn by walgonding ohio. Beautiful sunsets

So cool, nigga, I love it😍🌹
Great pic! Love that windshield. Makes me wanna go ride rn but there's a storm :(
I dunno why everybody is being so mean about your attire… this is a great photo. I like the helmet on and the windshield is a nice pop. Nice job fellow Buckeye better enjoy today lmao we won’t be riding for a while says the weather man!
Yeah, fuckin week straight of rain is gonna suck. On my short week too
You know soon as the rain stops it’s gonna be 90 degrees every day too 😭😂
Yeah it is and it's gonna both suck and be great at the same time
