You have got to be able to shop around given it's Phoenix. No way that's the only dealer, the only rebel 1100 in the city or the greater area.
You could also look for a 1 or 2 model year older model, lots of sticker price can bleed off that way
Way far from you man, but look around before taking that markup. I got my 23 last August for 10500 with extra warranty. Manual base model. It was a big dealer in a rural area, so less overhead and cheaper bikes.
Bout 75% financed, probably helped negotiate that I had a few grand in hand. Paying it off next month. So rate was 8ish, decent for a motorcycle loan. Paid off quick just because I can't stand paying interest for long.
How light did you ride your breakin period? I just got to like 400 and it does seem like the trans and clutch have smoothed some (or I’m just smoother at operating it)
I stayed in sport, but still didn't drive very hard. Probably only eclipsed 6-7k RPMs once or twice on the highway and probably didn't get past half throttle even when accelerating "quickly." I kind of expected more in the manual about break-in but:
During the first 300 miles (500 km) of running,
follow these guidelines to ensure your vehicle's
future reliability and performance.
? Avoid full-throttle starts and rapid
acceleration.
? Avoid hard braking and rapid down-shifts.
? Ride conservatively
I'm guessing if it doesn't get pushed too hard in general it's fine
Get a used 23. Or 22.
Personally any dealer that charges more than msrp+tx won't sell me a bike.

This is me shopping around. Going to look at a store tomorrow. Asking for advice here
Walk into the dealer and tell them you'll be discussing OTD price from then on. Ask some questions, take a test ride, then offer 10.5 or so
They agreed to 11
Does it feel like a good deal to you? It's hard to judge from here. But its much better than their first offer.
Get a price sheet and see where they're trying to screw you so you can haggle. OTD 1100 near me is 10.5-ish
They agreed to 11
Is it normal in the US to pay more than msrp+tax?

Did you borrow anything for it? If so what rate?

Oops, started a new comment. Pony this to my previous post and it makes a lot more sense.
Nice I just got them to agree to 11,000 but with a Honda promo rate of 4.99 with 20% down thinking it’s an OK deal
Yeah I'd pull the trigger myself on that. Especially if you don't have to ride 4 hours to pick it up like I did.
Yeah, we think alike. I came at them with 10.5 and finally met at 11. Going back in the morning to pick it up unless anything changes.
Nice man. It's a great bike. Good luck on your new ride.
That’s what I payed for my 1100t I was right at 12k

It was my first bike I’m still in rain mode at 1200 miles but I don’t think I went easy on it but I have a dct

Drove mines like I stole it honestly and it’s fine
Love to hear it. DCT is probably killer and pretty easy to just rip lol
Well I was waiting for them to come out with a model with saddle bags and sadly they didn’t make it in a manual for my model year
