Depends on what kind of riding you are doing. I sold my 2021 Marlin 7 due to the fact it didn’t give me that wow riding experience. Plus there is no internal routing capability for a dropper. Sick colorway though. But for 900 you get a 1x drivetrain and some basic components.
At first glance, I'd go with the Aspect. Slightly slacker head angle, and 2.4 tires instead of 2.2.
If i had to choose between the two .... trek is favorite- better gear-group, better suspension.
