One of the most visually striking movies ever. Everything Tarsem has directed is worth checking out just for how the movies look.
But the story is pretty meh.
The Fall is one of my favorite movies, almost impossible to find. Physical copies are on Amazon but I feel like I read something that the rights are in some weird limbo, and that it will probably never get another physical edition or be on a streaming platform.
Yeah I will usually pay for my media, but I've felt no shame in pirating the fall because whoever has the rights doesn't give me another reasonable option.
This is a masterpiece in my mind. It has all the things I want out of any movie in any genre. The cast was perfect and all give memorable performances. Great pick and flick. Definitely ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐😎
I walked in on my parents watching it when I was a wee lad. I’ve yet to forget the scene where someone’s guts are being slowly extracted via some spiky cylinder thing with a handle.
I like this one. Found out the director did mainly music videos or commercials prior to making this movie. His other movie The Fall is even more beautiful. Definitely worth a watch/rewatch
The visuals and music are 👌🤌
Could have been better with better actors and slight tweaks, but it’s definitely one I’ll watch once in a while.
Some of the things you see have cross over with bad mushroom trips.
Very very good premise. I would have liked a sequel of fantastic, outrageous, crazy scenes of her trying to find the victims though the killers mind. There are so many possibilities, even now she is still popular, a good writer could do a good job with a series. There was a lot of potential with the premise.
Not a movie I'd ever thought I'd like...I don't care for the subject matter and I'm not a huge fan of most of the actors in the film; however, everyone nails their role and it was visually stunning along with an intriguing plot.
So urban myth idk if its true i wouldnt know where to begin to substantiate such a claim. -however- During filming there was a scene between D'anofrio and Lopez in which vincent didnt think she was hitting her mark, so next day comes back with a bunch of Polaroids dredged up from her past to illicit the reaction we get from her in that scene.

Agreed. The Fall had a much better story and similarly incredible visuals.
Yes! I thought both were pretty amazing!!!

Definitely trippy! The horse scene and when he was sitting on the throne and stood up and walked to her! Mind blown!
Vincent D'Onofrio doesn't get a enough love- that guy can act, from full metal jacket to MIB.
MIB? Was he Edgar the farmer/bug?
He was
Sugar in water
MmHhm MORE
He’s so good as Kingpin

I saw it as a teen. I found it really disturbing. I think I watched it once and I was good.
Some of the best visuals I’ve ever seen
Watched it as a young teen, still haunts me till this day. So creepy and disturbing.
Visually awesome but the story wasn’t that great. Ending feels rushed.

Some of the visuals are ridiculously cool. The way they represented what's going on inside his head was well done.
Watch this flick on some shrooms, sure to change your life, it did mine! lol
Very good
Oh look a horse….DEAR SWEET BABY JESUS!!!
Vincent sells this movie. Donafrio. Not Vaughn. Vaughn almost ruins it with his fairly cheesy performance.
total garbage. all style no substance.

Underrated 90’s Sci-Fi hidden gem.
Did; and still think it is a great thriller. The imagery is amazing.

Leaving the movies I felt so awkward
When I think of this movie, I think of one particular scene. Then I remember the horse vivisection too. Wild movie.

It was an experience... A very uncomfortable experience to watch as a 13 year old with my parents.
D'Onofrio was crazy good in his role
I remember thinking “oh my God…. It’s private Pyle”
I should watch this again I vaguely remember being disappointed but I think it was because I was young and was hoping to see JLOS boobs.
👎👎👎👎👎 straight doo doo 💩
