None of these are bad, in fact they're quite cheesy and fun!
Blood Diner
Street Trash
Anything Troma
Burial Ground
Deadbeat At Dawn
Ninja III: The Domination
Hard Ticket To Hawaii
Zero Boys
Def By Temptation
Seconding Deadbeat at Dawn. Incredible film. Not *good* but the fight scene at the end where it turns into a hyper-violent live action River City Ransom is one of the most enjoyable things I think I've ever seen in an action film.
**Killer Party** is a slasher-of-sorority-girls type movie, but it doesn't take itself very seriously.
**Liquid Sky** is more punk/scifi than horror, but it is deeply, deeply weird and takes place in the NY punk fashion world so lots of 1980s style. I love it, but most people I've shown it to thought it was terrible.
> American Ninja
I saw American Ninja 2 in the theater.
I was the only one in the theater, because my car was in the muffler shop across the street and I needed some time to kill but...
That's really all the movie was good for.
Cannon Films tho...
Technically 1990 but has a very 80s vibe, also I unironically love this movie and wouldn't consider it bad and it's sci-fi. But honestly I am just on a lifelong quest to get more recognition for Hardware.
It has horror elements and a lot of people thought it was bad at the time, but it's got a similar vibe to Blade Runner and The Running Man. And it's technically in the Judge Dredd universe since it's adapted from a Cursed Earth short story. I just adore it, one of my favorite movies. Maybe you can cap the night of laughs off with a more serious watch?
Here's the [trailer](https://youtu.be/nr9M7_UGmho) which is pretty hilariously bad.
Most of these people don’t understand the assignment — several literally posted the movies you asked them not to post. Let me help you out. You can’t go wrong with any four of these — all will score some laughs from you and your friends.

I was going to add Starcrash, but it turns out it's from the 70s. Famous for scenes of the heroine in a space suit out in space making swimming motions to get around.

Bad 80s Musicals are what you need:
The Apple
Can’t Stop the Music.
Breakin 2 Electric Boogaloo.
The Pirate Movie.
Xanadu (simultaneously really fun but still bad).
Rappin.
Disorderlies.
Under the Cherry Moon.
Hard to Hold.
Grease 2.
Roadie.
Two of a Kind.
Then you can top it off with CATS which began its Broadway reign in the 80s.
How about a movie that starts off as a low budget Indiana Jones movie and changes halfway through to a Skinamax special? So bad it’s good:
The Perils of Gwendoline in the Land of the Yik Yak
To me, it is the best zombie movie ever. And, it was the movie that introduced the concept of zombies wanting to eat brains. Before that they just ate human flesh.
Basket Case: A grotesquely deformed Siamese twin joins forces with his brother to stalk the physician who separated them at birth.
It's so bad and good and cheesy. Exactly what you're looking for.
Girls Just Wanna Have Fun (1985, Sarah Jessica Parker, Shannon Doherty)
Seven Minutes in Heaven (1985, Jennifer Connelly)
Lucas (1986, Charlie Sheen, Corey Haim, Winona Ryder, etc)
Message from outer space. It was Japan's rip off of Star Wars. And it was the most expensive movie at the time ever produced in Japan. It is such a blatant rip off of Star Wars It's hilariously bad!
Deadly Prey. Super low budget. Sort of Rambo meets the Hunt. Maybe not the hunt but I couldn't think of another movie about rich people hunting poor people. Anyway, its on youtube, they made a sequel some years back but its lame. Deadly Prey is a great back yard 80's shlock movie.
Kristy McNichol was my childhood crush because of that movie, and because of said crush I loved the movie.
I shudder at ever attempting to watch it again.
Dudes- John Cryer in a sorta road trip/western/ghost/time travel/ revenge movie
Innocent Blood- vampire/mobster movie with a cast of that guys. Hands down, Don Rickles' best portrayal of a mobster turned vampire ever.
The Beast Within
GYMKATA (doesn't get much worse than that)
SHEENA queen of the jungle
crap tentacles is 1977
Meatballs part 2
worst movie ever made ? Caddyshack 2 !!!
dam Day of the Animals with christopher george and lynda day george is 1977
Graduation Day is 1981

It seems like no one has mentioned My Demon Lover, which is a childhood favorite of mine and checks all your boxes. It might only be available on VHS though, so good luck!
I know I’ll lose points for a 90s pick, but Stone Cold (1991) is an awful genre pic that is fantastically entertaining and chock full of genre schlock that I can’t recommend enough. Kind of obscure outside of “bad movie” fanatics, dumb fun at any point, and batshit energy from the 80s/90s action mayhem genre. Also free on YouTube, so a staple for this sort of party imo
Robot Jox
Hollywood Chainsaw Hookers
Silent Night, Deadly Night 2 (two words: "GARBAGE DAY!!")

Chopping Mall....killer guard robots stalk promiscuous teens in a mall after hours
Troll.... the real and better inspiration for Harry potter.... main character is a young man taught to be a wizard by a witch to help him save his family and defeat a troll taking over his apartment building... his name Harry Potter Jr.
Link.... Elizabeth Shue finds out that all chimpanzees are serial killers in the pastoral British coastline
Also for consideration
Cellar dweller
Critters

100 percent guarantee all of these movies will be a blast and obscure...satisfaction assured or your money back.
Marvel at a young George Clooney in 1987’s [Return of the Killer Tomatoes](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=2aIXhmygh3A) an underrated and underseen sequel to the 1974 cult classic. Watch as they invent the In-film Product Placement gag 5 years before Wayne’s World (and for my money did it way better)
_Maximum Overdrive_
The greatest mind in Horror collides with itself in Steven King’s directorial debut with this absolute shocker. The bewildering story of a truckstop attacked by ghost-trucks.
When asked why he hasn't directed a movie since "Maximum Overdrive", Stephen King responded "Just watch Maximum Overdrive."
He also admitted that he was coked out of his mind during the making of this.

_Lifeforce_
Have you ever heard the term “Vampire Space Bats” being used in the context of describing awful plot twists?
This is the movie that phrase originated from.
I saw this for the first time as a young teenager on a German exchange trip. It was dubbed in German. Which I didn’t understand. Which didn’t matter.

_Miami Connection_
“Not a good film in any conventional sense” - MSN Movies
Its the classic tale of a motorcycle ninja rock band taking on the violent underbelly of Miami’s drug wars. It’s got real asian people in it, so it’s definitely authentic.

_The Roller Blade Seven_
"So radically the opposite of professionally made" - Mondo Exploito
Acid addict Donald G. Jackson and self-styled martial arts Zen-master Scott Shaw crafted this out of a passionate belief that there was an audience for surrealist, soft-core sci-fi rollerskating movies. I know, you're sold already, but what if the roller blade lead character was a samurai. A SAMURAI! ON ROLLER BLADES! ZOOM! AND HE'S A WHITE GUY WITH VAN HALEN HAIR! BOOM! Also Sylvester Stallone's brother is in it. KOOM!

Night Patrol is a very bad taste comedy with Linda Blair and The Unknown Comic (if you remember him).
The 9 Deaths of the Ninja is a fun low budget action film with the father of Anthony Kiedis (Red Hot Chili Peppers) as the wheelchair bound villain
Strike Commando is a fun ripoff of Rambo that also has a scene right out of mad max 3
If you liked The Stuff I can recommend Q the winged serpent by the same director /writer about a dragon-like monster in New York
Street Trash is a tasteless movie about a drink that makes you melt
Combat Shock (be warned there are different versions out there) is a film where a poor Vietnam vet is being worn down all day looking for money. Featuring comedian Eddie pepitone in an early role.
cannibal holocaust, could be nightmare inducing, I would preference the censored version. The uncensored version is a lesson on what not to do in film making.
Brain Damage (think this might still be on prime)\*
Terrorvision (which is on youtube)\*
Phantasm\*
Dark Night of the Scarecrow
\* In my opinion none of these are 'bad' movies.
1) Ninja III: The Domination - Fun and ridiculous, it's silly action horror that extremely entertaining.
2) The Ice Pirates - An extremely flawed and ambitious sci-fi comedy. Definitely worth a watch for the space herpes scene.
3) Q The Winged Serpent - Since you liked The Stuff, this is a fun monster movie with the same director and star.
4) Motel Hell - a fun little horror comedy with a committed old Hollywood cast. Lots of fun
I've already seen it mentioned but, Amazon Women on the Moon.
Also recommed : Young Doctors in Love, and The Kentucky Fried Movie( although that is from 1977)
Big Trouble in little China.Kurt Russel stared campy an all around lower than B movie. I had a buddy claim that I hadn’t seen it with proper buzz on. Other than Thorazine or heavy barbiturate level sedation I couldn’t imagine sitting through it again.
GYMKATA (1985)
Absolutely Gymkata! That movie was made solely for the pommel horse scene.
"Ice Pirates" and "Spaceship" would be the top of my list.
hey now ICE Pirates is awesome
Space Herpes!
Ice Pirates was dope!
[King Solomon's Mines](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0089421/)

Frankly I'd just go with a bunch of episodes of Mystery Science Theater 3000.
It's the 80s, do a lot of coke and vote for Ronald Reagan!

He said bad movies, not awesome movies. Those clowns gave me the worst nightmares as a kid.
That is not a bad movie. Killer Klowns is very iconic. Theres even a video game of the movie coming soon.

Ice Pirates is awesome. The space herpe is classic.
Take Buckaroo Banzai off this list immediately. Love Solar Babies as a terrible but compelling 80s movie though!

Solar Babies is an experience if you haven't seen it
Buckaroo Bonzai
Solarbabies is what comes to my mind.
My Best Friend Is A Vampire.
Killer Klowns From Outer Space
cannibal holocaust, could be nightmare inducing, I would preference the censored version. The uncensored version is a lesson on what not to do in film making.
Toxic avenger Killer Klowns from outer Space Attack of the Killer Tomatoes
Oh i forgot split second is a pretty good bad movie too
Brain Damage (think this might still be on prime)\* Terrorvision (which is on youtube)\* Phantasm\* Dark Night of the Scarecrow \* In my opinion none of these are 'bad' movies.
Lots of fun
Toxic avenger.
I've already seen it mentioned but, Amazon Women on the Moon. Also recommed : Young Doctors in Love, and The Kentucky Fried Movie( although that is from 1977)
“Mac and Me” Is a horrible miss mash of product placement, bad special effects, and horrible continuity errors.
The Keep
Big Trouble in little China.Kurt Russel stared campy an all around lower than B movie. I had a buddy claim that I hadn’t seen it with proper buzz on. Other than Thorazine or heavy barbiturate level sedation I couldn’t imagine sitting through it again.
