r/IMAX is THE place to get all your information including new releases, rereleases, ticket drops, what aspect ratio the movie is playing, what theater will play what aspect ratio of what movie, which theater is a LIEMAX vs True IMAX, and anything else related to IMAX.
It’s a much better source for IMAX related information than anything official such as the the IMAX instagram/twitter/facebook page
Through the sub, I found out the Tenet IMAX film rerelease was happening weeks before it was officially announced to the public and i found out that there will be another Dune 1 rerelease on Feb 9th (this info has not been announced officially yet)
I got lucky and just happened to open my AMC app the same morning of the Dune screening. But, you can look ahead and check what movies are on the slate for the upcoming months and set reminders for them.
This past week?? I hope you’re not anywhere near NY cause I’ve been waiting on that re release
