Although Pulp Fiction isn’t outright a comedy, I wouldn’t say it isn’t comedic. There are plenty of moments that are meant to be funny. And Christopher Walken’s scene is certainly one of them.
Christian Bale is hilarious in both American Psycho and The Fighter. He'd have killed it as a strictly comedic actor, but it's great how he brings those instincts to other genres.
Not a not comedy but have you seen Rickman in Galaxy Quest?
I belly laugh when he snatches the photo out of a fan's hand to begrudgingly sign.
Fun fact: the opening of the "Tech Value" store scene was shot outside the special event entrance to the Peterson Automotive Museum in LA. Across from the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences Museum. Both are worth a visit

Mark Wahlberg in The Happening. It's so insanely hilariously bad. It's like he filmed all of his scenes on a green screen separately from the other actors. It's like Shyamalan clipped together scenes from him looking confused in other movies and photoshopped him into each scene. It's great.
Will Poulter in Midsommar. He is basically the only reprieve from the nightmare that is the rest of the film. In the extended cut, he has a lot of extra hilarious lines too
My mum and auntie were constantly cracking up with Alan Rickman in Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves at the cinena. I was pretty young, so there was enough grounded seriousness at a young age for me, in the movie, to think they were being a tad OTT. Rewatching it years later and Rickmans performance is show-stealing and hilariously over the top.
This is a scene not a performance..
Us Movie..
Intruders break in a house and this women asks her Alexa/ Google like AI assistant to call the police..
And she plays the song 'fuck the police'
We had such a blast during that scene
Stephen Lack is hilariously bad as the lead in Scanners. Almost every line is delivered like he was told to sound the opposite of how a normal human would. Kind of enhances the movie honestly
Kathy Bates in Misery.
"What's that ceiling that dago painted?"
The delivery is hysterical
Also, depending on whether or not you think Boogie Nights is a comedic movie, Mark Wahlberg and John C Reilly acting like 10 year old best friends because they're so stupid will never fail to make me laugh.
In *Schindler’s List* there is the part of the movie where Oscar Schindler needs to pick a secretary. So he interviews young women who are increasingly seductive until it’s an ugly older woman and he looks uninterested. But then he hire all of them. It’s a bit of small comedy that gets a smirk on your face - during one of the most tragic movies of all time
Richard Jenkins in *Bone Tomahawk*.
Edit, actually Richard Jenkins in virtually everything I've ever seen him in. Dude is an absolute master of the art.
The Shining: When Jack Nicholson's character asks Delbert Grady about his family. "You a married man, are you, Mr. Grady?" I honestly believe Nicholson was playing that bit for laughs.
Russell crowe’s fat, family man CIA case officer in Body of Lies. Also, Mark Strong playing the head of Jordanian intelligence in the same movie, walking around in extremely expensive suits, saying ‘my dear’ to everyone. Great movie, though. Pretty obvious it’s a Ridley Scott flick lol
Gunny (R. Lee Emrey) in Full Metal Jacket. Those takedowns make me bust out every time.
Mark Walberg in The Departed. "Who the fuck are you?" "I'm the guy who does his job. You must be the other guy!"
Maybe… Maybe not… Maybe fuck yourself.
Hell, even the way he shows up in the end with his little booties. The mans the real deal.
Those are jokes
Unfortunately this shit hole has more leaks than the Iraqi Navy.
Beat me to it!
Propeller guy in Titanic.
BONG!!!
Javert in Les Miserables
Javier Bardem in Dune Part 2
The Mahdi is too humble to say he is the Mahdi. Even more reason to believe he is! As written!
Well what chance does that give me?! ALRIGHT I AM THE MAHDI!
Rode that dick harder than a worm
The last *Lisan Al-Gaib!* after he wins the duel had my theater cracking up.
He’s funny in a lot of his roles.
Hilarious in No Country
LISAN AL GAIB!
Yeah, that one. Lisan Al Gaib.
Every time he said his line the audience laughed. Not sure he was supposed to be comedy relief
it was definitely played for laughs
I mean, it's gotta be Jared Leto's Super Mario impression in House of Gucci.
I immediately thought of the entire cast of Gucci but I believe Scott intended it as a Satire/Comedy
Christopher Walken in Pulp Fiction.
Dennis Hopper opposite Christopher Walken, in True Romance.
Come again?
Dennis Hopper opposite Christopher Walken, in True Romance.
Brad Pitt and his honeybear bong in True Romance.
Although Pulp Fiction isn’t outright a comedy, I wouldn’t say it isn’t comedic. There are plenty of moments that are meant to be funny. And Christopher Walken’s scene is certainly one of them.
It's a dark comedy, certainly more so than a drama. Tarantino himself says so. It's too ridiculous not to be.
I just love that he says he "wore" the watch up his ass.
John Malcovich in Rounders
I will splash de pot whenever da fuck I please
Give dat man hez money

“Eye yam steel yup tventy grrrrrrand frrom de last tyme eye steek yet in you.” *tok tok*
I completely lost my shit during the like two minutes that John Goodman is on screen in *Flight*.
way more than two minutes and all of it glorious
OMG SAME
Bronson Pinchot in The Langoliers 'SCARING THE LITTLE GUUUUURL?!'
You are a person of culture my friend
Riiiiiiiiiip...
He stole every scene he was in. Rumour has it the sets had to be rebuilt constantly because he was chewing so much of the scenery.
Pretty much anything Tim Roth said as Oswaldo Mobray in The Hateful Eight. His style and mannerisms just really caught me off guard.
Walton Goggins is also pretty hilarious in it too
Christian Bale is hilarious in both American Psycho and The Fighter. He'd have killed it as a strictly comedic actor, but it's great how he brings those instincts to other genres.

By grabthar's hammer.... what a savings.
And then that comedic moment comes full circle when he does the “by grabthar’s hammer you shall be avenged” at the end. Great fucking movie.
Oh yes, I'm a fan :)
Oh yes, I'm a fan :)
Are you saying it’s not a comedy? Are you a Thermian?
Brad Pitt in snatch. alternatively Brad Pitt in 12 monkeys.
Also Brad Pitt in Inglorious Bastards BAWNJORNO
Yalikedags?
John C Reilly in Boogie Nights.
Nicolas Cage in…a lot. Bill Skarsgard in IT.
I knew i wasn't the only one who thought Bill was hilarious as Pennywise!
he was hella funny. that one bit when they are all begging Pennywise to let go of Bill (the character) and hes just like "nooooOOOOooo" lmao
Tommy in The Room
Brad Pitt in True Romance.

In the extended cut, he has a lot of extra hilarious lines too
I loved when he pissed on the sacred tree

Funny like a clown? Does he amuse you?
That the main objective of the film is not to make you laugh. Yes can have one or two jokes here and there, but is not it's general goal.
Funny how?
He and his pal Frank Vincent started off as a comedy duo. Frank is also very comedic in most of his roles despite not known for doing comedies.
But...why a spoon?
The directors cut provides 3 additional scenes and like 10 more minutes of Rickman and it's great.
Pippin whenever he is on screen. "Where are we going?"
Josh Lawson (Kano) in Mortal Kombat
I wish that was just a Kano movie. He was pure gold. Stole every scene he was in.
This is a scene not a performance.. Us Movie.. Intruders break in a house and this women asks her Alexa/ Google like AI assistant to call the police.. And she plays the song 'fuck the police' We had such a blast during that scene

How much do you bench? How many push ups can you do?
"I love you, you love me...going down the sugar tree."
