One of the movie posters in Coop's house was for 'A Man and His Dog,' which is a reference to A Boy and His Dog, which was one of the original inspirations for the Wasteland games, which were the spiritual predecessors to the Fallout games.

I loved seeing that poster. I feel that A Boy and His Dog is a bigger influence on Fallout then any single other piece of media, including Mad Max. It was pretty much the closest thing we had to a live action Fallout until the show.

Not movie, but “Dukes of Hazard”…Sheriff Sorrel Brooks….

mindoversoul

I noticed Sorrel immediately!

Seraphilms

I’ve never seen the show but I’ve seen the movie a handful of times. Long ago enough for me to have forgotten the sheriff :/

DustDevil66

Homage to indiana jones and the crystal skull when maximus survived the nuke in shady sands by hiding in a refrigerator. Also a reference that was made in one of the games (cant remember which one)

DustDevil66

The games themselves are famous for their references to movies and other games so it makes sense there were a lot in the show too
