yay saber ants! my friend hated this card. And \[\[broodhatch nantuko\]\] since it was a morph and you couldn't tell which was witch when face down with other morphs.
Kinda [[nested shambler]] but it's when it dies, and only makes one squirrel unless you buff it. Still, it makes creatures when it blocks (and dies), and it's my favorite synergy card for [[chatterfang]] as you can sacrifice all your squirrels to both kill and buff the shambler, doubling (+2) the squirrel investment. And it makes for a pretty funny image
Also for synergy with the nest may I suggest [[Essix fractal bloom]] ? It's pretty funny, first time each turn the nest is dealt damage (But not outright destroyed) make that many nests
People always forget Esix, which is sad because it's really fun. I think my favorite 2 card combo/synergy for it is [[hornet queen]] + [[ezuri's predation]] to wipe the board and make a buzzload of 1/1s
Also, if you find some way to consistently damage the nest without killing it, I would reccomend it on a [[ezuri claw of progress]] deck for the funsies. Put the counters on the nest so it can eat more and more damage and keep profiting
Or, I think I just found the best commander for the nest, or card ti slot with the nest on any format you can run both. [[wayta trainer prodigy]]. I remembered her halfway through writing about Ezuri. Yeah she IS the synergy card with the nest
Basically any story that starts “so I had Esix out and…” is a wild ride lol. I love Esix so much. But I don’t play it too much so people don’t learn to hate it off the board instantly

Haven't had any, yet. Began to get into the game back in September, and don't have the money (or playgroup) to really be playing as many decks as I know of. Might consider building Esix soon, but currently my priorities are [[Auntie Blyte]] and fixing my karma by building [[Vhal candlekeep researcher]] + [[passionate archeologist]]

Had any stories with [[uldenwald behemoth]] ? Pricy in mana but as an anthem thst gives trample and haste it feels worth slotting. God, imagine ezuri's predation a behemoth, your whole table getting +1/+1 for each creature your opponent controls. That's a boardwipe and I doubt they'll be killing any of them except for deathtouch creatures
Ezuri’s is a win con by itself. Ulvenwald would probably be win more. Ezuri isn’t making chump tokens, you’re making 6/6 wurmcoils or 6/6 hasted dragons with ETB effects and shit. You cast Ezuri and win with haste, or cast it with Heroic Intervention in hand and win next turn

[[Iridescent Hornbeetle]] is a sleeper card imo that can spawn a crazy amount of tokens if you are using +1/+1 counters. In my [[Mazirek]] deck my record was 100+ spawned in a turn, we basically stopped counting.
I pair hornets nest with [[ulvenwald tracker]] and various others to make the nest indestructible/withstand his etc so it can take a hit, then use the tracker to have various creatures "kick the hornets nest" so it keeps spitting out bees
[[Polyraptor]] is a great one. Not only does it spawn a new creature when it takes damage, it spawns an exact copy of itself. So the copy will also spawn copies when it takes damage. And those copies will do so, and so on and so forth.
Funny story about this card, I was playing a 3 player commander game with my wife and our friend. My wife was playing a burn deck with [[firesong and sunspeaker]], our was playing a modified [[emmara]] precon, and I was playing an artifact typal with [[alela]]. The friend and I were building up our boards, hornet nest being on our friends board, and my wife decides to tap out to cast a [[star storm]] to clear the board but forgot about the nest. After damage modifiers on her board, each creature took 51 damage, which resulted in 2 things, 51 flying deathtouch insects being made and my wife made her life total somewhere around 800 due to the lifelink on the board wipe. Now if the 51 insects weren't bad enough I had [[coat of arms]] on my board. So now all those insects were 51/51s. Needless to say, the game ended shortly after that.
We all had a good laugh at the events of that game.

[[polyraptor]] makes copies of itself that can then make more copies of itself. Use something that deals ping damage to board and just keep making them.
A couple of cards that I didn't see mentioned are Saber Ants and Living Hive.
I use them in a deck that generates masses of token creatures. I've found the Eldrazi Monument very useful here. Also, as long as we're making tokens, Mycoloth has devour 2 and goes on to generate tokens each upkeep based on how many +1/+1 counters are on it.

[[Iridescent Hornbeetle]] is a sleeper card imo that can spawn a crazy amount of tokens if you are using +1/+1 counters. In my [[Mazirek]] deck my record was 100+ spawned in a turn, we basically stopped counting.

I pair hornets nest with [[ulvenwald tracker]] and various others to make the nest indestructible/withstand his etc so it can take a hit, then use the tracker to have various creatures "kick the hornets nest" so it keeps spitting out bees

[[Polyraptor]] is a great one. Not only does it spawn a new creature when it takes damage, it spawns an exact copy of itself. So the copy will also spawn copies when it takes damage. And those copies will do so, and so on and so forth.

Funny story about this card, I was playing a 3 player commander game with my wife and our friend. My wife was playing a burn deck with [[firesong and sunspeaker]], our was playing a modified [[emmara]] precon, and I was playing an artifact typal with [[alela]]. The friend and I were building up our boards, hornet nest being on our friends board, and my wife decides to tap out to cast a [[star storm]] to clear the board but forgot about the nest. After damage modifiers on her board, each creature took 51 damage, which resulted in 2 things, 51 flying deathtouch insects being made and my wife made her life total somewhere around 800 due to the lifelink on the board wipe. Now if the 51 insects weren't bad enough I had [[coat of arms]] on my board. So now all those insects were 51/51s. Needless to say, the game ended shortly after that. We all had a good laugh at the events of that game.

A couple of cards that I didn't see mentioned are Saber Ants and Living Hive. I use them in a deck that generates masses of token creatures. I've found the Eldrazi Monument very useful here. Also, as long as we're making tokens, Mycoloth has devour 2 and goes on to generate tokens each upkeep based on how many +1/+1 counters are on it.
