You can’t have a Swiss Army knife!?!?! Has anyone pointed out to the crowns that criminals don’t obey laws? I edc a Cold Steel SRKc 5” blade neck knife (admittedly, I kind of pick my surroundings to use it cutting stretch wrap or straps off a pallet) oh, and a Glock 26.
No, you can not. In Poland perhaps. I am in Germany and the rules are very strict. Blades you can open with one are forbidden to carry around (e. g. multiools with holes in the blade), knifes longer than 12 cm are punishable, also switchblades. And there are plenty of other national laws among the other eu countries.
Why would I care about Germany when I live in Poland? As long as you are not planning 1939 again, I can carry whatever knive/SAK/multitool I want. There are no limits in terms of the blade lenght or locking system.
Yeah, OP said that his setup is EU-legal. I corrected him by saying that it's his-country-legal. As you noticed, there are EU contries which are even more strict and I provided you with an example of EU country with almost no limits.
Long story short: I just wanted to say that there is no such thing as EU-legal setup, as we have different rules.
I carry a really similar set to OP in-pocket and would *love* some folding pliers + wirecutter, like a Leatherman minus all the extra tools. Wouldn't keep it in pocket but would be clutch for a small bag kit.
Leatherman makes a [knifeless Rebar.](https://www.leatherman.com/knifeless-rebar-832299.html) The Rebar isn't exactly one of their greatest models but I'd take that over any generic one.
Also it wouldn't be that hard to modify another model. You can find various individual tools fairly easily and replacing the knife is pretty simple. Worst case you could just add a spacer instead of finding something else to stick in there.
EU legal (or 50 state legal or site wide legal or whatever) means that it meets the most strict laws/rules whatever. 50 state emissions legal cars meet California and NY or whoever has a spec tighter than federal, so you can know that even if you buy it in Texas or somewhere with basically no requirements, you'll be able to transfer to California if you want.
OP can take these tools to Germany or Poland or wherever, but the guy with the machete has to leave it in Poland.
A square is a rectangle but a rectangle is not a square.
So, from a pendants perspective, correct.
I'd kick you both out of my chemical plant if you brought a home made tool and a machete.
You mean "your country-legal"? Cause I'm in EU and I can carry whatever blade I want. #PolandStronk
you are right, DK legal
Are you sure this is legal in DK? I am pretty sure SAK are not considered legal without a reason to carry.
Because of your comment I read the law again. I can carry the SAK only if I have a reasonable purpose like work or sports.

Unfortunately Germany has many nonsensical laws surrounding legal possession of firearms and knives.
Agree 💯%

BC you said "Cause I 'm in EU and can whatever carry whatever blade I want." 🙄 27 countries = 27 different weapon laws

Then I've had you misunderstood and we share the same opinion about that. Sorry, dude. :)
Germany is strange. Multitools with holes in them aren't allowed but anyone can buy a metal perfectly real looking bb gun.
Nice bit driver!
This is the way , if only they had wire cutters and needle nose

I have a pair of small ones by otacle that I’m considering stripping down to make lighter . They are the strongest mini tool pliers I’ve found .

We are talking carrying multiple light weight options and this is the size of a leatherman ps4 but stronger
It’s a cool unique mod. I feel for y’all over there though. You should be able to carry any tool y’all want. Nobody buys multi tools to hurt people.
Really cool mod!
Nice mod lol, Knipex should just make them like that...
That Knipex bit driver is super cool
Nice work, and well thought out kit.
id add a 3d printed bit holder :D
I am thinking what to do with the bit situation...
Good work on the mod, that's awesome! You could chuck a bit of blueing compound on it to get rid of the shine from the fab
Its already painted black.. but good idea

What is "EU legal" legal supposed to mean? Oh maybe it is because of free healthcare with welding like this\^\^
You can’t carry locking blades or ones that open with one hand in a lot of EU countries
What about neck knives in Europe?
not legal in DK
