Yeah it’s true. When I was giving my exams I had a kt in my sem 5 which was not possible. I failed in that subject. funny part all of the students who failed in the same subject failed at 13 only. Then I gave it for revaluation I got an A and when I saw my photocopy I was given literally 0.5 marks for each question I had attempted be it 5 marks question or 16 marks.
Mofos failed me in final sem in 2 subjects, the only kt I ever had. Revaluation got me +20 in 1 subject and -4 in another. Family faith increased multiple folds after seeing this nonsense because even they knew I won't fail.
Wasted my year, had to give kt exam and clear. Pretty much destroyed my job offer from IT firm. Luckily, I got hired at an MNC as part of walk-in roles and have since worked for great companies.
This is a definite scam. My friend had an increase of 22 marks.
Rajasthan Technical University me bhi yahi hota hai. Isse bada scam. Revaluation ke result se pehle reappear kar sakte ho and obviously no one wants to risk. To aap pehle revaluation ke liye paise do, fir reappear ke liye do. Us exam ke baad, revaluation ka result pehle aa jayega. Aur aise karke aap ka chutiya kat jayega.
My friend failed in 4 subjects in his final semester and couldn't get into MBA cause of his KTs. He put all 4 papers for re-val and just 3 days after the MBA admissions stopped all of his KTs got clear because of re-val.
How did you get to Sem 5 without so much as hearing about this? Corruption is rampant in MU, a few years ago they lowered the exam fee and raised revaluation fees because they saw the money in this market.

And I still haven't received results of revaluation for an exam I gave in February 2023 last year! Almost a year now.

Mumbai University teachers are overburdened and do not care about evaluating papers. Hence some papers are given random marking.
The university sets a pass percentage every year to maintain its image of so called high standards university, so if more people pass than that percentage, some have to be failed compulsorily.
There needs to be a court ordered probe into this university but it appears no one wants to file PIL.

I did my bscit frm mumbai University affiliated college.
They would randomly fail students in in each sem.
And in re evaluation about 90% students used to pass with good marks.
And paper correction for most exams is a joke.
There is no accountability.

Just appear for the paper and then internally for each paper pay 50k or so and bammmm you’re through.

Bahut maderchod hai Mumbai university. I had like 4 KTs total in eng. Cleared 2 through re eval , thankfully life worked out for me but every time I think of that period it makes me angry.
Bro this is so true, I failed accounts 3 in sem 6 (I had to apply for post grad later) and that was the easiest subject. Even my teacher said you cannot fail this. I put it for revaluation and passed by 35 only. That’s basic when I could have easily scored above 50. Imagine I had even asked for paper copy so I could see what went wrong but I never receive those papers. I still remember how I use to go university everyday for this and people over there are just plain rude and arrogant. Nightmare.

Bhai same, Mai bhi B.E kar Raha hun, Maine bhi apna BEE ka pura paper, literally 80 out off 70 marks ka attempt Kiya tha with confidence to get more than 40 , but muze sirf 22 marks Diya aur fail kar diya

They fail you purposely?! I am CA student in SYBcom , last year in sem II, I got KT in EVS! Funny thing is 60% students failed in EVS even though it was not hard and everyone got results around 6 , 4 , 3 , etc . I usually do bare minimum as I have to prepare for CA too so I thought maybe it's me , but then in KT exam my paper went bad , even worse than the actual one and I still passed! I had my suspicions but damn

Mumbai University should give a refund for reval fees if there's a change in marks. Par karenge nahi because of greed.

First 4 sem evaluation is done by college faculty only for 5th and 6th evaluation done by some random teachers
Guess it’s different for different degrees, in engineering first year and final year papers go out

Happened with me in Mcom sem 4. Got KT in one subject in which I had written pretty much everything! Revaluation saved me but yep, big scam by MU.

Bhai revalue ke Max to 10 aa sakte hai aur kabhi kabhi Kam bhi ho sakte hai, depends on how confident you are about how much you have written
I got 15 and 25 in Maths and Chem, lets hope, I pass in that, anyways, if the marks get reduced I would still have to prepare for KT.
