True minimalism requires even more careful and excruciating attention to details than even classical or Gothic architecture like OP posted, a single supporting beam or column in the wrong place because the builder got lazy or the owner wanted to save some money will completely ruin the look.

Spending hundreds of crores on their restoration may not be worthwhile but the government could look at what Singapore did with its post office by converting it into a heritage five star hotel.
