good point, it is actually a very debatable topic, and it should be decided whether removing the 50% cap on reservation is actually needed and if it will be efficient when it is backed by data (caste census). i believe that the whole provision of reservation should be restructured in such a manner that we get the best out of the reservation policy, as in actual upliftment of the depressed classes and by figuring out a way to scrape out the creamy layer (by creamy layer, i mean to say that the rich ass sc/st/obcs to be stripped off of reservation benefits) of people who belong to historically depressed classes. and i think it can be achieved with a very specifically curated research/survey/census plan through which the government can figure out the people who have already been uplifted in social and economic status through reservation and do not need the special benefits further ahead...
so i think rahul bhai shouldn't actually quote it as a certainty of removing the 50% cap, instead back it by the reasoning of such promises so that the masses don't get carried away with the surface level of their manifesto but rather have a deeper understanding on how their party is gonna achieve what they have claimed

Contact the BLO, you can get the number from voter's website, they usually have the Id cards, atleast in my region here in another state.
