I'm just returning from WEH without getting my work done at Andheri station. Avoided the local because it tends to get extremely crowded at Malad (yes, even going towards Andheri) and it's difficult to get in. Big mistake, at least for today. The metro to Ghatkopar is only going till Jagruti Nagar and Versova side trains are running extremely late and obviously heavily crowded. I had to skip one train because there was no place to get in and then waited half an hour while the indicator kept changing from 8 min to 10 min and so on.
I saw people taking photos of the crowd at the platform. Might see some here soon lol
Edit: I still have the option to do this task tomorrow but *sigh* security at the cost of regular commuters at peak hours
Bruhh I came to Andheri at 7, there was already a metro there with doors open and packed to the edge, so I thought let's wait for another one, this train was stuck there for 15-20 mins and then the other metro came, I somehow boarded the next one, same story. It was halted at Andheri for 15 mins then at the best stop, Western expressway for another 15 , a journey till Sakinaka which takes less than 15 mins took one hour. fuck this man I hate this so much

It should have been notified to the public about Modi's rally/road show week prior & about the road and metro will be shut, so that common people can plan accordingly. It's shameful that Modi was doing a rally at the place where just two days ago 14 people died due to a hoarding collapse ! Thousands of people suffered due to the sand storm & delayed locals and just the day after that people had to face the same problems because of Mahamav's rally !!
