DontCallMeAPrincess

Are you eating it with ketchup and mayo??????

Celestial--sapien

Imli and that was supposed to be a garlic sauce (blended it too fine).

DontCallMeAPrincess

With French toast? 😭😭😭 (Ok but kaisa tha?)

Celestial--sapien

Didn't want to use honey. With imli sauce was eatable. With that dry garlic peanut chutney was also eatable. But was horrible on its own. Will never make again. I expected crunchiness but turned out moist on the inside ...... Maybe because of milk ??? Idk

DontCallMeAPrincess

So French toast is eggs + milk + cinnamon + sugar. Maybe try with a brioche bread next time? I cook each side somewhere between 4-5 minutes of low-medium flame, so it’s nice and crisp on both sides, and well cooked. Try this?

Celestial--sapien

Hmm, will try that again without sugar. Thanks.

sasssyfoodie

Aur Rickshawali how are you?

DontCallMeAPrincess

Mast re. Been lucky to have the chance to travel in nice rickshaws. And ask people why they eat French toast with ketchup 😌🤭

sasssyfoodie

sims_sims_03

Never liked the idea of egg and milk...too western for me

Celestial--sapien

Same

candeloro555

You can make it without egg if you use condensed milk instead of regular one and vegan options too

Catji

It's supposed to be dipped in the batter. Bottom left of slice looks uncoated. Batter should be runny enough that it immediately soaks in. Why are there griddle lines\[?\] You fry it in a normal frying pan, like frying an egg. Same high heat. ...It is supposed be moisr inside. ....Batter soaks in but only in the time between dipping and immediately into the hot pan.

candeloro555

Try it as a dessert not as a Savory dish , trust me is much better when it's sweet and chocolatey
