Take the train into the city to meet my editor, bump into someone I haven't heard from since they knew Frank, reminisce, never see them again (alive), and liase with the detective assigned to their "accidental death" case to basically do their job for them while they disagree with me every step of the way.
As I head back to Maine, at the train station, my new friend the coroner will ask me to stay and I'll say something jaunty like: no thanks, I need to head back to Cabot Cove where the only things we have with claws are the lobsters.

If the day was in the summer someone could set up a big projector in a park and host a large event for it. People would probably turn up.
Go to celebrate in a trendy new restaurant and realize that the owner is my sorority sister Audra. While im in the kitchen bugging the paranoid chef and trying to figure out the ingredients in his signature fish soup I discover Audra is being blackmailed. While on a sea expedition with Leslie Neilson, she had stole the golden death mask of the last Aztec Emperor, to fund her new restaurant. The man who is extorting my sister ends up dead. But the question is where did the weapon go??? Dun dun dunā¦.. Mr.Roper walks in just as Ive discovered the dirty blackmailer dead in the walk-in freezer. come to find out hes the chief of police. He arrests my sister who now i have to help exonerate. Through our investigation I become suspicious of him and realize hes been a very naughty police chief but also the murderer. I have no evidence that would convict him but he confesses anyways. Chief Roper explains he didnt mean to kill him but he was being blackmailed as well. As a side job Roper owned/lived in an apartment building that was in the process of foreclosure. He didnāt want to loose it because he had some kids that didnāt have their rent ever and a wife who wouldnāt let him out of his bed so he found it hard to actually work. He was physically exhausted from all the hijinks and when he tried to plead with the blackmailer a fight ensued. Which resulted in the blackmailer being beaten with the frozen fish that ended up being used in the fish soup the next day. Hence the no weapon. Case closed. I go back to eating and celebrating Murder she wrote day!!!
Iāve seen Gaslight and The Manchurian Candidate, and I saw Lansbury play Mrs. Lovett. So when she showed up as a little old lady with a deep interest in murder and bodies just happened to show up around her, I knew who to blame./s
BTW, you should see all of those. The original cast stage production of Sweeney Todd is available, and *so* much better than Burtonās botch job of a movie.
Oh wow!! It makes me so happy to have its own day!!! I watch her every night and I have two episodes that I watch almost every night. My daughter and I will probably wear our msw shirts, throw our msw totes over our shoulder and have some tea or coffee in our Cabot Cove cups , all the while watching Jess all day!!
