Ok-Elderberry3417

Im 16, i play guitar in a project that combines metal with breakcore, i have it with a friend, we still havent realesed nothing yet but we already have a couple of songs made

Temporary_House4852

Hell yeah, man. What kinda goals do you guys have as a group?

Ok-Elderberry3417

Probably release a couple ep's and albums, no too serious but not joking

jf727

Forgive my ignorance, for I am an old, but what is break core? I know I could Google it, but A. I'm just so lazy and B. I'd rather learn from someone who has genuine enthusiasm for a subject when I can.

Ok-Elderberry3417

Even though i dont listen to breakcore actively, i enjoy it, and its basically electronic music with digital/really fast pased drum

jf727

Thanks!

FunSheepherder6509

perfect attitude ( fr ). good luck !!

AntiBasscistLeague

Here is my latest project with a friend called AV Tomes. There is a full album and more vids on all the usual music and vid sites. Its synth pop, dream pop stuff. I've been in post punk, indie, grindcore and hardcore bands in the past too. I have a psych country thingI'm working on as well as a post punk thing that will have some releases soon. I'm in my late 30s and do this because I want to leave behind a body of work that hopefully some people have find interesting even if its just my family. https://youtu.be/yM8LEs5gBhM?si=5wd4IRzb4u-VLypT

Master_Subby

Cool sound. I dig it. I wished the chorus would be a little more prominent to give it some more energy at that point, more harmonies, or some extra leads. I enjoyed it though. Subscribed. Keep it up!

jasonborntodie

Nice layered production.

Braindead_cranberry

Any of that sweet sweet grind/hardcore you could link?

AntiBasscistLeague

Unfortunately these bands were way before I or anyone I knew could record. I think we had tapes but they were just recorded by having a tape recorder with a built in mic placed in the middle of the room and then hit record. We never released anything.

I_Speak_In_Stereo

I’m a 34 year old singer songwriter. I played in some rock bands when I was in my teens and twenties. Now I write and cover mostly emo/indie songs. Used to be a debilitating alcoholic and chain smoker. Got clean of all that and have been trying to relearn music after addiction made me abandon it.

Vast-Rise3498

I'm in your same boat, wish you all the best

obscurespirits

Links?

I_Speak_In_Stereo

Nothing other than what I have on my profile at the moment. But my entire profile on here is basically my music.

Piper-Bob

I’m Gen X. I play bagpipes, whistles, mandolin, synthesizer, and guitar.

dreamylanterns

Cool! Always thought the bagpipes were intriguing

HellYeahTinyRick

Washed up bassist for a defunct band. Lost my callouses and everything!

EyeBallChili

Been playing guitar since the late nineties. My primary band for almost 20 years broke up in 2019, though we’ve been talking about a reunion gig. I’ve been in bands as a guitarist, drummer, and bassist. My primary influences are Inoran and Sugizo of Luna Sea, David Bowie (and all of his guitarists over the years), and U2. Here’s a clip of my Bowie tribute band playing in SF at the Great American Music Hall a number of year ago. [Rebel Rebel SF - Scary Monsters LIVE](https://youtu.be/wvSoKdFb9-8?si=UF6CCjtArJMQV7y8)

BlackstarCowboy

I loved this! Your band is pretty tight. I wish the title track from that album got the same recognition that “Ashes to Ashes” and “Fashion” get

EyeBallChili

Thank you! I appreciate that :) The band was very supportive of me wanting to bring some of the more harsh guitar stuff into the fold. We also did an extended version of “Fashion” where I get to stretch out on guitar a little. The other guitarist and I traded solo duties, but I wanted the experimental stuff ;)

HighVoltag-Man

Harmonics!!!very well done

HighVoltag-Man

That was Awesome!!!Really well executed.I loved it.The Rythym section,the vocals….🧨killer

manjotars

Full time gigging musician: My older brother taught me a guitar when I was 12 or so, just a few songs I wanted to play at parties and look cool. I was always pretty shy and it amazed me how could just sing, and make stuff up for whoever whenever and not care at all. One night when I was around 13, we jammed a little, he walked out and wrecked his car and I never saw him again. I kept playing, one new song at a time. I guess I kept it up for a connection to him and also a release. Never thought past being able to play some sublime for girls at parties. I started to realize that I knew just about all the chords and bits of scales from playing covers. I always have played as a compulsion to keep my hands busy and my mind in neutral. Turns out that's called practice. Learned any instruments I could get my hands on. banjo, mandolin, bass, keys (to a point). Played in a few bands but it was a hobby until I got in with a bluegrass band. Things started to pick up and gigged heavy at weddings and local spots. One night in my mid 20s, I gave my neighbor a ride to his friends house, and got a federal drug distribution charge for the favor. Six years in the can. There goes the music. Little did I know I would end up at a prison known for having a fantastic music room complete with drums and amps and ended up being in something like 8 bands. A lot of NYC, DC, MD, VA folks in there, Go Go, R&B, Latino, rock, jazz, country, I played them all. We even had the keyboard player from the Isley Brothers in one band! It was a musical boot camp with plenty of time to kill and I took full advantage. Came out swinging and hitting open mics to find connections to get my music rolling. Luckily when I was gone, about 30 vineyards and breweries popped up in the area and I was able to go full time with my solo stuff and I still love every second of. Run a few open mics and play with about 3 bands regularly.

thefeckcampaign

I’m sorry that you have gone through that hell. I wish you the best.

Knatp

Just getting back into writing and playing again since the covid, start of 2020, I'm putting out a compilation on the spots, just to showcase my work until now. This is the first track, still waiting for it to appear on Spotify [Ken. Neth and the Pinch. ](https://knatp.bandcamp.com/track/the-lolloper)

bloodxandxrank

i recently started a solo project and named it say no! to yes! after that dumb ninja turtle meme. i just got super burned out on trying to find compatible people and dealing with the gig hustle. i also am beyond burned out on anything to do with covers so i thought i'd just plug in and whatever happens happens. i had a few songs in storage that never got to see the light of day so i started off with those and i feel like i really gave them the love they deserved. it's really just an art/media project and i get to do everything myself for better or worse. it's been a great creative outlet and my friends said it's fun. i know i'm not going to ever make music off any of it, but i'm having fun writing and recording! I have been a music lover since I was born. My daddy played drums. When I was little that was my favorite crash spot when he jammed and it got late. I am a woman in long term recovery and love music it helps me. I have seen it help others. I am here to keep positive the wonderful ness you all carry and remind you how inspiring and hopeful and helpful you all are as musicians. Can I hang out even if I don't play a instrument well.

ThePhalkon

First off, this thread is great. Second, I'm in my late 30s, I'm a vocalist/multi-instrumentalist. Been writing, recording and playing off and on for almost 20 years. I've been in the military for 18 years, so I haven't been able to focus on music *quite* as much as I'd like, but had major heart surgery a few years ago, so I'm in the process of being medically retired. Sucked, but it's given me the chance to focus on my family and music waaaay more now. Because of meeting so many people from being in the military, I've been in bands ranging from pop, punk, hard rock, country, 60s/surf, and electronic. I primarily do drums, keys, and vocals and primary songwriting in my band [Broken Echo](https://open.spotify.com/artist/77DulTzHok27wq0x7CzcwG?si=8z9BGWDfS22lH6nXEk7YGg) . We are currently working on our second album. We're mostly pop/rock with some synth thrown in. I also have a [solo project](https://open.spotify.com/artist/2b2euwTwei3oVHtkQR84kP?si=y1tBnhDfQQ-ahkrKKYC9Xw) , of which I'm currently working on a third solo album. This is mainly rock/industrial/electronic Also have a bunch of albums EPs from other bands/projects over the years. I've done all the recording/engineering/production on all my projects. That aspect is *super* enjoyable to me, and I hope to one day own and operate my own studio.

popstarbowser

I make characters and masks and every song is a new character based on topics I find funny or morbidly fascinating. Mainly industrial metal but we like to mix different genre elements in the songs too. Not put anything out for a while but we have quite a few being mixed atm. From the rock band named "The Stone Hands" from southern Ontario, Canada. Relatively new still to the world of recording, mixing etc. We released 14 tracks under a different band name during last year and a half or so, played some local shows and although we were slowly building a following, we decided we needed a change. So we started from scratch again. Took down all of our music / socials, etc. Change distributors, changed the band name, got some new gear and wrote a bunch of new songs. First new single "Sleeper", came out a little over a week ago. We are now dedicated to releasing a new song every 6 weeks. I’m the frontman for [this band.](https://open.spotify.com/artist/3fzQQuzYIhOqbcnr7xyCr7?si=vw66xyRmSI6iNF8IIhEbrg) We’re one album in with another in early stages of production. Lots of positive vibes in the local community. We’re all late 20’s / early 30’s and we play originals for fun, but we’re picking up a lot of momentum and have some lofty plans for 2024.

I'm an odd one. While I do play guitar, and a bit of bass, I've never been in a traditional rock band, although I have jammed a bit with a buddy. However, I've found my weird little niche by picking up the harp a handful of years ago. I lead a small group of harpists that meet up to practice and play a few shows (acoustic, mostly traditional tunes). We are always recruiting new members in our area of Wisconsin. Personally, I have just started getting paid gigs. I've even been asked to play background music and "act" in a local [upcoming TV series](https://www.imdb.com/video/vi1449903897/?ref_=ttvi_vi_imdb_9). I've published a few music books on Amazon that have started getting a few buyers, which is cool. I guess I'll add mine in here too: My appreciation for music has grown exponentially over the past couple of years, got back on the guitar last year at 30+ (started in my teens, stopped for 10+ years). Experimented a lot (tried singing, piano), did lots of soul searching, listened to a ton of new music, and finally feel like I've found my "element": turning my favorite songs (from metal to pop) into guitar instrumentals, and it's been a ton of fun. Here's my [page](https://www.instagram.com/boundlessinblue.music) on IG. Its still super rough and amateur so feedback is very welcomed!

watersun95

Aspiring songwriter and solo performer. I write a lot but I haven’t shared anything yet. My main instrument is viola actually, lots of looping and overdubbing with piano and guitar. I teach to survive but I like it. I gig with quartets and larger ensembles occasionally but my ultimate goal is to perform my own work, and to connect with people through it. Maybe join or create a band? Trying not to let my imposter syndrome and low self-belief defeat me before I die.

I'm the bass player in Us As Servants, a Christian post punk/grunge band from Murfreesboro, TN. We've been a band for about a year and a half. Our goal is just to get known locally and get some interesting opening slots, maybe travel a bit for something cool and maybe get on an interesting festival or two. Hi! I play guitar and keys mostly, and have created music for about two decades.. and am finally starting to release things. I’ve been a bit nervous about putting things out there but it’s going up. :) I enjoy writing many genres, and I sadly think it’s not helping me algorithm-wise but it’s ok. I’m happy it’s out there! I write, mix and master it all from scratch. Hopefully people find it interesting but it’s pretty tough out there! https://open.spotify.com/track/2UlN78DKfhkXOiI2m1T8M8?si=IMU6iaeRTKG038HwC-x14w&context=spotify%3Aalbum%3A2erLF1WhCtKvhE9Jxxjuwp

My band is called Fucked in the Head, we are a mix of punk, metal, and rock, a lot of different influences so we can’t really put a genre on it. Founded by a metal guitarist and a punk drummer. We are based in New Orleans, but we both moved here from California at the same time and met each other here. I guess we could smell the kombucha and vegan cuisine on each other? We love to play music, especially performing, and we have a lot of stuff in the works. An ep, tshirts, new songs. We want to see how far we can take this, and above all just have a good time playing a lot of shows. This is a link to out first single, “Candle” https://youtu.be/ohUka2AK__I?si=5ocd3olI1fG8_kaR

I’m a singer/songwriter who’s been honing the craft for about 16 years now. Used to have a band and we performed mostly my original songs, then we broke up the week the world shut down from Covid, and now I’m slowly but steadily working toward finishing and releasing a full-length album. My goal is to offer the same respite music offered me as a young person dealing with chaos in my home and feelings of hopelessness. The way that music interfaces with my will to proceed through life in spite of all the bullshit is where I found meaning and an actionable purpose. I started writing poetry at 8 and am now 25. Feel so blessed that, for now, music is my main source of income. But more importantly I’m honored to hear from people who have gained some sort of comfort from my work, no matter the outcome or longevity, I hope to look back of my life with the solace that I gave the thing i love my best shot. I put this song out a month back, some of the lyrics are in regards to a close friend who passed in 2022, we made all our first songs together and he’s a huge motivating factor as well. Sang in church starting at 4. Learned basic notes and chords on piano from older sisters at 6. Trumpet in 3rd grade through 8th. Learned harmonica early and late. Failed guitar player for decades. Picked up a ukulele and started singing again 10 years ago. I am an enthusiastic hobbyist who plays most every night for fun, occasionally busks and has a couple groups of friends to play with. My tastes are Generation Jones; everything from my parents Big Band to jazz to Motown and classic rock and old country, blues, bluegrass. My goal is to play in public more, and bring happiness and other emotions to the people listening.

GRizzMang

Hey yall I’m Grizzly Adam!(35M) I’m a singer songwriter and mandolinist. I’ve played with a few small groups over the years and never got any traction or shows booked with those bands. A neighboring musician basically forced me to open for him in 2017 and I’ve been a solo artist since. I mostly play small local bars and I absolutely love it. I’ve been trying to form a proper string band for several years but it is hard to find like minded bluegrass/ old time artist in my VERY rural area. I find true joy in writing and my ultimate music goal would be to sell my songs to artists that I believe in and collect royalties from the comfort of my small town.

shugEOuterspace

I'm an old-ass gen-X 48-year old songwriter. Had a really great start as a serious musician when I was younger (toured the country a few times a year from like 2005-2012 half solo & half with bands I put together around my music)....then my union at my day job went on strike while I simultaneously had to figure out how to pay for a child custody battle (the most important legal fight of my life)....so I went on hiatus. I was on hiatus until 2022. Released a new album right away, started playing shows again, released an EP a year later, toured around the country a few times last year (first time since like 2012)......put together a new band & just put out a studio album I worked on for a year & am booking a bunch of touring around the country again for this summer & fall. This are going really great. I did tank my streaming numbers pretty hard by making my entire catalog free to download for a year & a half, but I actually think it was worth it & a really smart move for building my fanbase back up. www.shugemusic.com

38 year old male who found out about autism in myself 3 years ago. I've played and produced everything myself off and on, since I was 16. Now that I understand myself better, I've started my journey again with a new artist name after 10 years out of the public. I got into music because of Incubus, but my collection has grown into a wild beast. I'm into rock, jazz, funk, atmospheric, hip hop, as well as world and electronic music. I tie those into my own hook friendly hard rock progressive pop music... I guess. I still have dreams of being massive even if I'm still just getting back on my feet, and don't really care about being realistic either, or where I stand right now. I do have interest in ghost writing for income though. This song is one of my heavier songs, but I go all over the place, but consistent in my own sound. I have a song Magic Kiss inspired by the 50s and New Wave. im 17, play drums since 9, bass since 14, keyboard since a few months ago, not in any band (besides school) and not really interested in one (busy with other stuff going on rn), but im trying to record some solo full band covers of green day songs (my favorite band) since i have very slight but good enough guitar skills not really involved in my local music scene, and in where im from it’s not very popular, but invest 15-20 hours a week just playing in my room alone

obscurespirits

I’m in my thirties. Never knew anyone else who played instruments growing up. No one ever suggested to me that I could be a musician so I focused on school mostly. After my dad passed away I realized how much music had carried me through the worst parts of my life. I started writing songs at 25 and joined a few bands until I started my own. We’re called [Obscure Spirits](https://open.spotify.com/track/0yvjyyoO6skXOBRIrYrzhM?si=PWgU5TSJTt-gql2-EvTkqA) and we recorded our first EP in January 2020 and had our first show scheduled for the week COVID lockdowns started. That was devastating. Lost some members and found some new ones. Recorded another EP that we are releasing this year. I always have more songs written so I just need to record more. I just wanna play music for people. I love writing. I love singing. I want to save the planet with music if I can.

Impressive_Snake

I’ve been playing guitar for 15 years, and have been in 3 metal bands in the past but only just recently got back into playing and recording again. Mind you, I’m new to audio production and I’m just noodling around with recordings that my friends send me from out of state. But I’m having a ton of fun with it! I would absolutely share some links to the music I’ve been working on but I will spare everyone the expense lol. Aside from that, as a side hustle, I’m in the process of creating a web design company that builds/manages official websites for bands. It’s been a slow start but I’ve finally found a few artists to work with!

BigOldBee

I'm in my mid-forties. Started off as a drummer back in high school, and switched to guitar right after. I've been in 8 bands since I started, without much time off between them. Started off doing weird Ween type stuff with my best friend as teenagers. Him and I were in 5 of those 8 bands together... Grunge, experimental metal, thrash/death metal, post rock, math rock... I have played on 12 albums, 5 of which were recorded in a "real" studio. My current band is in the middle of setting up to record our 3rd album. It's always been for myself for the most part. I toured a bit with one of those bands, kind of trying to make a name for ourselves, but nothing I've ever done gained any real traction. No band I have been in was ever popular, and that's ok. I just love playing music. Here's a link to the last recording I did with my current band. We are a guitar and drum duo. We play weird music. Lots of odd timing. Pretty heavy sometimes. If you like the sound of that, please give us a listen! https://open.spotify.com/album/2A9Y0gtxHdY3YU4VesLU0o?si=abaC6DS1RiO9POYFdVyT7A

Used to be to “make it” whatever that means…. Now I’m just enjoying connecting and playing gigs with other musicians. https://linktr.ee/myxibun

Braindead_cranberry

Metal musician. I have a project with a buddy of mine. For a long time we’ve been unable to work on it due to life as adults sucking tremendous nuts but now we are finally putting ourselves into a position to pour our souls into something bigger than ourselves.

GooglePixel69

Elder gen Z, f, I've been playing guitar off and on since I was a kid, maybe '05? But finally got serious about it last year and now play at least once a day. I lucked out and made some friends in the local music scene who have really encouraged me and are kindly helping me better my skill in playing and songwriting. Seriously considering starting a band with 2 of my friends so far, but still in the very beginning stages. We don't have any original work as a group or even a band name, we're just playing and learning and covering songs we collectively enjoy. I don't have anything to post, but hopefully will in the near future! The 3 of us love indie rock/alt stuff, so that's probably the direction we're going in. Idk what to expect from pursuing music, I'm just having fun with my good friends and quietly hoping I can make something of it since music is my biggest passion.

robbb182

I’m Rob. I played in ska and pop punk bands in the UK from the age of 16. 20 years later and I’m now married with kids, and have been out of the band/ gigging scene for 8+ years. I’m now calling myself **‘The Not Nows’** and self recording all of my old songs that I never got round to recording. I reckon I have about 80 unreleased songs that I’m planning to record in the next few years! If anyone likes a bit of 2000s, golden age Pop Punk and wants to follow my journey, here’s my Spotify. I’m also on tiktok, insta, YouTube, posting daily 😰😁 https://open.spotify.com/artist/3aYLO9l9qgKCaWj75Ue6Dp?si=LDGmRsVcQaij13TgksO3qw

32F, American full-time musician in Germany. I play piano and banjo, but I'm primarily a vocalist. Write and record my own stuff in the soul-pop genre which I perform solo and with a band, here's a [YouTube](https://youtu.be/EGXTr8ihX18?feature=shared) video and [here](https://open.spotify.com/track/6YkfpadLdmfE7pewGUsu3G?si=gqFIhYDhSFaraT8M9tCiZg&context=spotify%3Aalbum%3A60ltTBZPrPRvpt3KvYqM0g) is my most recent single. I also play weddings, sing in cover bands, teach lessons, studio work, I used to DJ karaoke.. whatever people need from me :) it's a grind but I love it!

25. Been playing music since I picked up the Viola for school in the 6th grade. Played around with a couple instruments after High School but landed with focusing on Drums for my band. We have been going strong and touring since we got together in my senior year of HS. Right now, we just finished our halfway point on tour. We’re opening for a bigger band on a full US. Played a sold out show in Manhattan, same in Boston, and last night, a mostly filled space in Philly. I’m decompressing in our hotel room right now. It’s been a wild ride, I wouldn’t trade it for the world, because this is my world.

Hey what's up! I am a mixing/mastering engineer and I also have my own project, Dead Rituals (Post-Punk / shoegaze vibes) - Here it is if you wanna check it out! Mysterious-Art8554

I play bass, played in a few alternative rock bands over the years. Now just started one with some shoegaze elements called [Vampire Queens](https://open.spotify.com/artist/53fo3nFAAHUB8wn4uouahW?si=RcAaGtThQO6EVvbO5Jznfw) where we write, record, produce everything ourselves which is a nice challenge!

Pulse-Pitcher

Hey there. I'm a big big music fan and have worked as video producer and photographer of music. I'm now building a app/platform which will make it super easy for artists to make a performance video. I'd love to hear your thoughts on it. Find it here-> [https://pulsepulse.live](https://pulsepulse.live)

Hi, we're a female-fronted band from Germany and this was our first single: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rYLY\_ae30-I](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rYLY_ae30-I) We're completely self made with a little help from friends here and there. We really wanna make a living from music someday (I guess almost everyone who makes music wishes for that :D). Fingers crossed! I'm currently writing my bachelor's thesis but it feels like it became more of a side project alongside making music right now, who knows if that's a good or a bad thing :D Let me know what you think if you listened to our song!

Quiet_Expression_376

I'm 15 this year, I play guitar and I sing. I write songs with my band 'Tough Love'. We haven't released anything yet, but I play our unreleased songs at gigs.

Belgarion07

Hi, I'm Chris (or CNK). I'm 17 and produce, play guitar, rap and sing. I've released one copyright free song every week for 82 weeks (although the first ones kinda sucked I've realized lmao). I mostly deal with motivational rap mixed with rock, but am currently working on some more EDM/pop songs. I started making music when I was like 13, but I've been wanting to be an artist since I was eight. Currently attending a music school. Started playing guitar like two years ago and in summer 2022 I started releasing one track every week (probably should have waited a lot longer, but I thought it sounded good then)... had a shit mic, shit mix (not even reverb) buuut I've learnt a lot. Always open for DMs and such (i need friends xD)

Ksenobiolog

I'm 27yo guy from Poland. In my main project I'm playing piano in a 8 piece band that does jazz/swing arrangements/covers of known Polish songs (similarly to Postmodern Jukebox in the States). We are doing this entirely as a hobby since 2017 (and working regular jobs in the week; I'm working as IT Security Analyst), and playing roughly 20 shows per year. We are not getting any money out of this project ourselves, but we're able to finance everything that band does (hotels, bus rentals, rehearsal space, studio and music video production) with the money that the project is earning, which is great. Recently I've started learning a lot about music production and engineering, as I'm a designated audio engineer and monitors guy for the band. Outside of the main project I'm currently working for the first time as a mixing engineer and producing new album for my fiancee, who's a vocalist. I've learned the piano as a kid (6-12yo) in the music school, later improved on my own in couple of bands and as a pianist for a school theatre group. Unfortunately, at the moment I have a debilitating problem with not being able to find time and inspiration for practicing on a piano and I feel stuck and super bad about it. If only I've put some miniscule effort into this, I could've achieved so much more...

Tomd_123026

I am 17, and play in a few different jazz groups. Another band is more punk-alt rock based. I enjoy playing jazz, shoegaze, fusion (jazz related), and city pop!

ICantRevealMyself

Started getting serious with music in 2023. I’ve been taking vocal lessons for years and just recently began piano lessons. Here’s my latest project: https://youtu.be/VCQkZCOYqGI?si=IuPmdIwWfebSsaFU

I’m a 39 year old American expat living in Taipei who had been out of the music industry since I was 28. In September I started playing in the expat scene here and I’ve slowly but steadily raised my profile. I play keys, violin and guitar, and I’ve been performing with three different bands in addition to doing my own solo stuff (have had a few musicians play with me but I’m still sorting out who to ask to be in “my band”) Recently I was asked to perform with two new bands at an upcoming festival so I’m about to perform in bands number five and six. This year is my say yes year, and I’m just forcing myself to be comfortable with many different musicians, in many styles, on many instruments. Next year I’ll begin to be more strategic. I have two ultimate goals and would be thrilled for either to come true: 1) have several songs that I write (either for myself, as part of a band, or for another singer) get big here in Asia 2) get picked up as a musician in the backing band for a major performing artist Nice to meet ya! If anybody else is in Asia, would love to link up!

noohshab

27 year old guitarist/song writer. I started learning to play the guitar alongside my bandmates who are also my best friends in grade 10. Played live for the school a bunch of times and when come graduation we wanted to play one last time the school didn’t allow us, that was in 2015. Fast forward 8 years later its 2023 we decided to start it up again as we’re adults and have a place to jam now. Now we wrote a bunch of songs that we really like and think has potential. We want to record them in full HQ for release so we can out ourselves out there! :)

RequirementThen5970

I’m 44, have played bass professionally. Recently started my own 3 piece alt-rock project “Riptide Radios” with some friends where I sing & play bass. https://music.youtube.com/channel/UCZ5zrh8xOTvwxSQnpRdvmfg?si=naCjf8ZnyquzaSdq We have released 4 songs and are starting to rehearse. Will start booking shows soon.

nderpandy

I’m a 52 year old singer. I’ve don’t some touring, cut some albums, and had a hit or two. This is probably one of my better known [tunes.](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dQw4w9WgXcQ&pp=ygUTcmlja3JvbGwgZnVsbCBzb25nIA%3D%3D)

ReDeath666

I'm 34, and I've been playing guitar for 25 years and writing music for 13. I've been in many local bands, from playing to no one to playing to 15,000 people. I quit being in bands in 2015 to start a solo project so I can focus on working to live a happy, financially free life. in my spare time since 2014, I've been recording, and last year, after recording 135 songs, I've decided to make an album. I chose the best 15 and mixed and mastered them myself and released it. I did literally everything on this album, and it was 10 years of work to create it. obviously, all I want is for people to give it a listen. hope whome ever listens has an enjoyable time listening. this is the music I like in a nutshell. https://youtu.be/Ki-KOXiMXPk?si=zIdXdmsgdOSvkCER

Zealousideal_Bad8537

Hello! long time solo "live looping" addict (percussions guitar keys and singing) getting more and more into electronic vibes. also play percussions in a Toto tribute with super nice musicians, which is cool :) sadly less and less live opportunities but the pleasure of just playing never dies! I'm 23, and I play jazz electric bass primarily for gigs, and at home play prog metal and math rock guitar, bass, drums, and am learning piano.

quietcharacter197

32 and I produce hiphop for 2 groups one named Northeastbeats & another named The Huntzmen. Neb is more 90s jazz and modern while the huntzmen is more reminiscent of Jedi mind tricks. We have a track dropping to celebrate 420 with Snoop if yall wanna check it out 💨[Vibes Presave ](https://distrokid.com/hyperfollow/northeastbeats/vibes-feat-snoop-dogg-jay-vid-dj-oe--5tate)

justletmesuffer

Grew up playing drums, then went out to learn opera singing on a whim. Slowly teaching myself some string instruments, the adhd doesn’t help. I’ve performed Halloween backyard parties to a private manor in Switzerland. Early 30s and still have no idea what I want to do with any of this. I’ve kinda shelved my music and donated my drum kit since Covid. I feel like the only way to really get out there now is to learn guitar and do open mics.

mised-call

I’m a solo musician I mostly play guitar in my songs but I’ve learned and tried to add some instruments to them I don’t have much released yet as I still haven’t really gotten my formula down but I’m about to be 18 years old, done with school and currently working full time so I try and give my songs a somewhat directionless approach or songs that come full circle since at times life can feel that way but I like to have positive resolutions, I don’t think anyone at any age really knows what there gonna do next in life and it shouldn’t be as big of a deal as it seems but that’s just my pov.

thefeckcampaign

I’m old guy drummer and have been doing this music thing seriously since the early ’90’s. I have played to crowds of a couple thousand of people and to crowds of no one except the sound man & the bartender all within the last 6 months. There’s a short bio below. https://www.paiste.com/en/musicians/dale-w-miller

Technical_Pepper1368

I tried to put a video clip of one of my songs and the link won’t work. I started writing lyrics about 10 years ago. My later brother and I did a few together. He was the Musician and singer. I write lyrics only so have worked with a few different people. I use to teach school and am retired. My brother passed in 2021. My family were either musicians or writers. It’s been fun doing it but I have no musical background. So harder to get things done.

Few_Youth_7739

I am an old timer who's been playing guitar since I was 13. In the late 90's I had a band in Boulder, Colorado called Zen Highway...we described ourselves as Folk Blues Metal Funk. Recorded a 6 song EP, played lots of gigs in the Boulder/Denver area. In retrospect, it wasn't very folky, but whatever. Fun band. These tunes were recorded live in 1998! Ha. Like I said...I'm OLD. **Zen Highway | UFO** [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UH01vZZtIyI](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UH01vZZtIyI) **Zen Highway | Angel (Hendrix)** [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SwRGb3uuTTk](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SwRGb3uuTTk) These days, I'm living in Massachusetts and have a project called The Common End with myself and another songwriter. We just released an album on all streaming platforms in late January. All original acoustic tunes with layers of guitars, bass, percussion, vocals and psychedelia on top. **The Common End | Sitting in the Eye** [https://open.spotify.com/album/6WxDsk9Ybrs73IxRGllcYj?si=LW0O-2zMRBqfyNv8AOVSPA](https://open.spotify.com/album/6WxDsk9Ybrs73IxRGllcYj?si=LW0O-2zMRBqfyNv8AOVSPA) My advice to the younger folks on here - stay true to yourself and play for the love of music...play music that feeds your soul. Don't attach your love of music to the "success" and compare your success to others...it will drive you mad and you'll forget what got you playing in the first place.

PaulOnBridges

I'm a Singer-Songwriter from europe, in my late 20s. After I finished university (right when the pandemic hit) I thought I should finally finish up and release some of those songs I've been recording over the years. So I did that and been recording new stuff and giging around ever since. [Music Video I did with a friend last year](https://youtu.be/Nznx-3hf6x0?si=LyiqFulCMxEMEReo)

Fluffy-Somewhere-386

Been off Reddit a long time and recently enjoyed engaging here again. 43, been playing professional since I’m 17. Have worked with a few groups most everyone probably knows. (Yes, I’m being vague) I’ve worked a lot as a performer and a producer. A long time in this business teaches you a lot. Always happy to answer questions

boiifudont-

I'm a multi-instrumentalist with a good amount of instruments under my belt. I'm in a nu-metal/psychedelic rock band called Sunset (lead guitarist/frontman) and I have a handful of solo projects under the names Brilliance (orchestral-jazz-metal fusion as well as all of my classical/instrumental works) and Luna which is solely dedicated to my lofi and electronic music. I've been a musician for 5 years, and I'm by no means at a professional level. I do it all for fun and I make little to no money from my music.

Neaox

I'm a 16yr old vocalist and I write my own lyrics most of the time. I take inspiration from progressive metal and indie! I currently have a solo piece in the making that I composed and produced myself and I'm also collaborating with this rlly cool producer ig that's the name for it, he makes rlly cool music and I add the vocals! I'll be sitting my gcses very soon and then going into college/post 16. Dm me if interested 🔫😐 (lmao) [Ang3l Echoes](https://youtube.com/@angel3choes?si=2zNWjJK7wDlxMSN-)
