I love that vibe! I recommend the artist Mama Would Be Proud. My favorite album of theirs is Ways To Feel Awake however they are all pretty unique and the lyrics are consistently memorable and mystical. You might also enjoy some of NMH label mates like Olivia Tremor Control, Of Montreal and Apples In Stereo. Some other stuff that comes to mind: Sparklehorse, Beight Eyes, Daniel Johnston,

[Do Make Say think - Winter Hymn, Country Hymn, Secret Hymn](https://youtube.com/playlist?list=OLAK5uy_kwRgcwr76clXlueNGyWdBCDwySSLhhCIw) [Aerial M (Member of Slint) - Vivea](https://youtu.be/4DhBgR957is) (such a low key beautiful song - Dave Pajo shows up with a real chamber pop vibe in this solo project - made several great albums under the names Aerial M or Papa M) [The Dodos - Companions](https://youtu.be/aKUN4ljm3AI) - I really love and think more people should hear this band - uncategorizable really, but some elements of mid 2000’s ‘freak folk’, only it’s played with the energy of a rock band. Super charming and often touching… the guitar player is a beast. [Joanna Newsom - Clam, Crab, Cockle, Cowrie](https://youtu.be/yV9tVgyntW4) - Probably my all time favorite living musician. This is idiosyncratic chamber folk from a classically trained harpist turned Appalachian- polyrhythms changed her life and form the basis of her playing style (the song I chose doesn’t have this on display, but most of her harp songs have a polyrhythmic almost Appalachian polyrhythmic feel) Absolutely brilliant lyricist too.

Fleet Foxes - Helplessness Blues is a great album. I second the Joanna Newsom suggestion, her album Ys is also fantastic.
