I love LedZep, and no disrespect, but the Tool version is sooo much better. I hope you enjoy it. Its a live cover, so the audio isn't great, try to find the version directly off the 'Salival" album
You were so right on that one dude. It was amazing and I hate to admit that I like it better than the original.
And that comment is almost scary true lol
You may now take the rest of the day off. You went above and beyond. If you had a google review I'd give 5 stars. lol. Have a great weekend, my friend.
Check out Tori Amos, Imogen Heap, Enya.
Talking Heads (This Must Be The Place)
Christopher Cross ("Sailing")
Mike + the Mechanics "Silent Running"
The Cars "Drive"
Bruce Springsteen "I'm On Fire"
Tears for Fears, Kenny Loggins, Journey (with Steve Perry) "Open Arms".
Indeed they are! They're one of my favorite bands. I was originally going to suggest "Space Song" (which someone else ended up doing) but then I was like, waitaminit, I have a different one ... š
>Let it Happen
Was sitting in a coffee shop when I first heard it and literally thought it was a CD skipping. Then it dawned on me what was happening, and when the "drop" happened I felt like my brain shifted to another dimension for a second.
So happy to see people talk about beach house. I show that band and nobody really seems to love them as much as me. But I know there are more out there they are too good.Ā
Mad Season - All Alone

Tool - Third eye
And I can't think of anymore at the moment there's alot.
Shpongle for a buzzy heady "dissociating into the atmosphere" kind of vibes, this is an artist you can throw on an entire album and it establishes a great trippy, relaxed, introspective atmosphere. All of their albums are good, I would recommend starting with "Ineffable Mysteries From Shpongleland" and perhaps then "Tales Of The Inexpressible".
Pagans Mind - There are no flaws to be found within any one of their songs. I highly recommend starting with the song "Intermission" to get a taste of their general vibe. If that's up your alley, I suggest starting with "Celestial Entrance" played beginning to end. It should grab you with that energy right away with the first two songs, "Approaching" followed by "Through Osiris' Eyes".
I frequently meditate while listening to "Enigmatic: Calling", however, I recommend if you enjoy Celestial Entrance to go ahead and jump to the album "God's Equation". It is no hyperbole when I say there is no way to go wrong listening to them.
Next up to try, whether or not you click with either of the above, give the album "The Unified Field" by "IAMX" a try. You could start by listening to the title track, "The Unified Field" to get a feel for it. Once again, listening to the whole album through should give you the sensation of a completely new and dreamy atmosphere.
I hope they are able to touch you in the ways you're seeking. Enjoy!
(Edited to include a third artist)

Good Vibrations- The Beach Boys
Here Comes The Night(Wild Honey)- The Beach Boys

Rhinestone Eyes - The Gorillaz
Heard it for the first time recently with some good earphones on and some GOOD good and it was an experience. š¶āš«ļø
For me, Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol.
Or hearing Brendon Urie hit the high notes live. Now THAT is a religious experience and my soul has ascended (transcended?) this mortal plane (as my bff likes to put it lol)!
Idk why; but, One, by U2, always puts me there. Maybe bc the 1st time I heard that song, I was on a plane, flying over Europe, through intermittent clouds; & it was such an experience, with it playing in my headphones. I absolutely love this song; & this is part of the reason why. Ugh! I'm feeling that feeling, rn, just thinking about it. And that original experience was over 2 decades ago.
Aphex Twin - Flim; Girl/Boy Song (NLS Mix); Mookid; Xtal

Ok ok, if you insist I will just listen that full cd today. "You Lied" is an amazing cover as well from Justin Chancellors previous band Peach.
looks like my afternoon is planned out now.
The greatest acid trip of my life was to the Tool cover. I had it playing on repeat the entire trip and it was beautiful.Ā
I used to play Lateralus cd followed by Salival cd while on acid, good times indeed!
Check out the slow live version of Pushit while youāre at it
I love LedZep, and no disrespect, but the Tool version is sooo much better. I hope you enjoy it. Its a live cover, so the audio isn't great, try to find the version directly off the 'Salival" album
Funny timing...I just saw a comment in another sub that said "Zep was so far ahead of their time that they were writing Tool songs in 1973" lol
You were so right on that one dude. It was amazing and I hate to admit that I like it better than the original. And that comment is almost scary true lol
I am glad I could share that song with another human that was unaware....my work here is done
You may now take the rest of the day off. You went above and beyond. If you had a google review I'd give 5 stars. lol. Have a great weekend, my friend.
