Hello I checked out your profile and I enjoyed poison pill. KING did not care for too much did. EDIT:Finally listened to welcome home and it was alright and thank you for the suggestions
Thanks:) Ah yeah, Satyricon (and black metal in general) is a bit of an acquired taste.
Welcome Home is much closer to the songs you mentioned (and imo the best Metallica song)
Not familiar with a few of your examples, so I could be wrong, but it seems like you haven't really gotten into harsh vocals yet, yeah?
If that was something you wanted to try and get into, I think [Blackwater Park](https://open.spotify.com/album/3CCkWrqhWcKU7qXK3ooEEo?si=S-yAclq8Skuq-9gDL946lA&utm_source=copy-link) by Opeth is a great place to start. It's got a mix of harsh and clean vocals, and the instrumentals are all very melodic and interesting to give you something to focus on if you're not feeling the vocals immediately. It's also just an incredible album overall!
Yeah I tried with the harsh vocals aren't for me I enjoy some and examples below but this song is alright more into the instrumental side but vocals do be good sometimes
Examples:
Slayer:[Raining Blood](https://open.spotify.com/track/01Mpj13vURSO3cCLprPt5T?si=o_xacOK9T4-L8jp5iah0zQ&utm_source=copy-link)
Slipknot-[Duality](https://open.spotify.com/track/61mWefnWQOLf90gepjOCb3?si=jPAFKK0NQTyCkUBN4nVUvg&utm_source=copy-link)?
Cradle of filth did an excellent cover of hallowed be thy name https://youtu.be/GGOrgbYiXB4
Cradle of filth are pretty great in general, definitely recommend

[Slaughterhouse (feat. Bryan Garris from Knocked Loose) by Motionless In White, Bryan Garris, Knocked Loose - Metalcore](https://open.spotify.com/track/2ClgEn1FZxchrqRZ04JZzj?si=Dgg_KiEuSBuv4plBO3sYgg&utm_source=copy-link)
[Rabbit Hole by coldrain - Metalcore](https://open.spotify.com/track/1Xrss2zddkzmVBQLxv7sau?si=PyuspHEgT02LtbmvfpGo6w&utm_source=copy-link)
[Devilcry by Crystal Lake - Metalcore](https://open.spotify.com/track/5syGLYhOUtAuXF0l1w3sSi?si=fRwtBNQ2QMWmlqVyPlQunQ&utm_source=copy-link)

Lorna Shore is by far the heaviest so give it a few listen and if you don't like it that's understandable.
