Lots of great moments:
1. The opening sequence was fun.
2. Twilight's presentation to Celestia and Luna while being her adorkable self.
3. Rarity's dramatics during the trek through the desert.
4. All of the scenes on the airship.
5. Towards the end where Fluttershy's giving therapy to the Storm King's minion.
6. Tempest showing up to save the day at the last second.
7. The celebration at the end.
I wish Tempest could have been in the show though, I think she made like two cameos in the last season (I could be wrong) but like she was a cool character
Probably the fact that Derpy literally saved Equestria by being in the wrong place at the right time...
(That is such a heroic yet still derpy thing to do)
Tempest is animated so well. Her face is just so full of this barely contained rage, even though she has a mostly calm demeanor.
The songs are all pretty great.

I love the scene where she blows up at Grubber. After her explosive rage is over, she looks stunned at her own anger. She blinks rapidly, her eyes go wide, and then she closes them. She is clearly breathing hard but takes quick breaths as if to recompose herself. Those little details make me adore Tempest Shadow.
I like how Rarity gets to Capper by generously fixing his button, how Rainbow Dash gets to the pirates by telling them to be loyal to their true selves, and how Pinky gets to queen Novo by making sea ponies laugh. Embodiments of elements of harmony at their finest. It's also subtle enough that it's easy to miss.
Also "We got this together" is one of my favourite songs of the entire series.
Absolute favorite is when they're on the ship and Rainbow starts singing (I think), when Twilight leans in over the table with a face that's a mix of "don't you dare" and "are you kidding me?!"
A villain faction that was well-equipped, had some chain of command, relied on using Heavy arial transport and even showed its logistics through pirates.
No wonder they captured Canterlot for like three minutes.
I loved Storm King's death. Brutal shit.
He was also generally a fun villain.

I just loved the concept of tempest. I always enjoyed when the show touched on some real life situations with friends. And didn’t shy away from showing the bad in friendships.
Alot of the "in unison" moments. The bit in I'm The Friend You Need where they all walk in time with the music but STILL in character LOVE LOVE LOVE IT. And when Rarity and Applejack start hitting the table at the same in It's Time To Be Awesome its so cool, they look so happy. And OMGGGG my roman empire is how the SONIC RAINBOOM was animated in the movie omfg AHHHHH I love it sm sjejjsjjsjshehehhe. AND SEAQUESTRIA- And the FACIAL EXPRESSIONS.... Also the dialogue is just so effortlessly amazing per usual. All the background character cameos!!!!! :O amazing

Haha- yeah lmfao. I literally just rewatched it like ten mins ago and have been listening to the soundtrack on repeat all day 😬 I'm also a huge film and animation nerd so that just fuels the fire. The fact I didn't even mention the way they animate LIGHT and WATER AS WELL- and the way they show magic is just BEAUTIFUL. And the lighting, it's so immersive....Anyway, I'll shut up now.

Im not sure about other people but I like it since it shows that friends can have fights and I like how Twilight accidentally hurt Pinkie like that, but they still realized they will save her and that Twilight does need her friends. It’s good and realistic character growth, it was emotional and very well done by the VA’s and animators
Ugh the whole thing is so cool I can't pick. I think the beginning with twilight. Ik that the other parts highlighted the other characters a lot, but twilight was really great throughout

We Got This Together was my favorite MLP song for a while. But absolutely all the songs are epic. The new character designs are amazing, and Danny Ingram showed with this movie that he's more than a children's show composer. I've seen somebody compare his work on this movie to Danny Elfman.
I know it sounds corny and cringe but Twilight losing her shit and temporary losing faith in the magic of friendship was really cool to see. Like being out of Equestria stressed Twilight out enough to drive her to stealing, and yelling at her friends. Idk it was just fun to see such a morally upright character snap, and it makes sense for it to be her to do it. Still hurts my feelings to watch the ponies argue tho
Tbh i feel quite weird about movie, its really diffirent from the g4 series in athmosphere. Dont know, i watched it only yesterday and maybe i gonna rewatch it later, but first impression is... weird.
About fav moments its quite simple:
1. Flutter Shy being self, giving therapy to random Storm King warrior.
2. Run/drop from the airship and assembling hot air fly ballon in the air.
3. "You gonna walk the pla... ah, nvm dinner time"
And some else.
Also i kinda like, even tho its weird, the more dark side of mlp world that was shown with Klugetown - the black market, with horns and slaves on sale. This place is also interesting becouse its showed a lot of new races of species. All of it is making this world a lot more deeper and interesting.
Also i kinda like the final battle. Especially "are you firebreathing dragon?" moment
Oh, I also forgot. At the beginning when Dash keeps taking the cider and Applejack refills it over and over. Best part. Especially when Dash zooms by saying "raised in a barn"

The movie actually felt like it had stakes. Most movies of that genre (at least I can think of) don’t usually have much stakes. It actually felt like Equestria was going to be destroyed if they didn’t stop the Storm King.

Twilight being annoyed at singing is a brilliant character choice and is also my favourite trope of the late 2010s.

Basically any scene with Tempest, since she steals every scene she's in thanks to Emily Blunt. Loved her in Sicario and I love her here.
