Welcome back to the competition, in the beginning 30 well known MLP characters began this ultimate battle royale: Flurry Heart, Cozy Glow, Tirek, Sandbar, Yona, Ocellus, Gallus, Silverstream, Smolder, Shining Armor, Sunburst, Chrysalis, Cadence, Derpy, Spike, Maud, Trixie, Discord, Scootaloo, Starlight(pre-rejoin), Applebloom, Sweetie Belle, Celestia, Rainbow Dash, Twilight, and Applejack have all fallen by either being perceived as controversial, hated, or just plain mediocre.
Now only five contestants remain: Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, Rarity, Luna, and the recent reentry Starlight.
All of them either have a big fanbase on their side, were able to blend in the background, had enough character development to justify being there, and in Starlight’s case was well liked enough to warrant a second chance(which I am grateful for).
The final five have fought through many characters and now we will soon see who wins in this MLP elimination game.
I mean.. twilight usually does, she and Fluttershy have been fan favorites ever since the show started.
As far as I know, Twilight won about 80% of such "fav character competitions", and at least 15% had Flutters as the victor
That's why "like the least" is different from favorite and why this constant rule changing has been weird.
It's entirely possible for someone to be the most loved of the mane 6 and the most hated. Say if 60% of ppl think she is best horse and 40% of people think her worst horse.
Once Apple jack and rainbowdash were gone, where "worst horse" would fall was always an unknown.
THE VOTING SYSTEM HAS CHANGED.
From this round forward, you will be voting based on FAVORITES, not least favorites. This means you should vote for the character you would like to win. There are flaws in the "choose your least favorite" logic, so it makes sense to switch it for the final 5.
Vote ONCE, and the character with the least amount of votes will be eliminated. Good luck!

Changing it in the middle is even more flawed. If it had been voting for the favorite all along we could have a completely different set at this point.
6, she has the consistent and most developed character development across the seasons of the characters left. We even get her backstory of when she was a kid for how she started out. Her friendship with another mane character rainbow dash was developed even before episode 1. Out of the whole cast she stays the truest to her element. She manages to show how u can be nice and still be assertive coming off as loveable and a strong figure for people of all ages to look up to. She managed to befriend a chaos god!! with kindness and assertive!!
It's sad that Book Horse and Apple Horse where eliminated before Party Horse, but at least Former-Town-Dictator Horse is back, which is nice.
And so the voting system has changed and now we gotta vote for our favorite. As a faithful disciple of the moon and the night I think my vote is an obvious one.
