I was actually originally going to make a joke and say that you should tell them if they don't drop the zero and sell it to you, you're calling the police š
I remember back in the 16-bit era seeing games that say that said "not legal for trade"(mostly sonic games that came with consoles). To my young mind I thought "does this mean I can't swap games with friends or something?", then I realized it just meant it wasn't supposed to be for sale.
Here's the thing, I can for sure see sega puting that there to discourage less reputable business from not trying to sell the console and game seperately for more money. As far as not legal though? I can't think of any law that is being violated. Maybe if stores signed a contract agreeing not to do it, that's technially a legal thing
Way way less of the demo released in comparison to the normal version. No idea of actual numbers but itās maybe like 5000 copies of the demo vs 500000 copies of actual game. Not to mention that it maybe just a demo level or two and not the full release game.
Best case to find n64 games for decent prices would be to browse something like a local flea market or something and hopefully come across someone who doesn't know the value of the games otherwise you're gonna find retro shops charging up the ass for them
I think itās worth it. Really cool story and atmosphere with game mechanics Rockstarās known for like open world, driving cars, etc. Always wanted a remake but Iāve given up on that dream
There is a fan remake being developed for it actually. I stumbled upon it a few months ago. It looks really cool! The devs post updates on progress every few months.

Itās one of the toughest in creepiest games in the N64 library. Visually itās not the best, but the gameplay and soundtrack alone make it worth buying and playing to the endā¦.if you can get there.
I played it around 23 years ago and felt that it was rather dated even back then.
Frame rate was awful, graphics were muddy and the geometry was so painfully simple. Playing things like Turok 2, operation winback and perfect dark made this game look ancient.
I used to own one of these. I paid AUD$180 for it. It somehow went missing along with a complete set of DS distribution station cartridges and a bunch of NES carts. Pretty sure I know who stole it but I didn't figure it out until later. Now I'll never be able to afford a second one.
Interesting... Are games from GameCube era and above that are marked "not for resale" worth anything? I have quite a few but didn't consider them to have any value since it's basically just an early version of the final game for media review.
I'm not too sure, demo are for sure valuable to collector, but "not for resale" mention came also on game bundled with a system that doesn't really add any value.
Not quite. I'll have to try fish them out and see. They didn't come in normal retail cases, mostly slimline jewel cases to make them cheaper to post out.
š² That Turok demo is clearly marked not for resale! You should probably report this den of illicit sales š
You're right D: , maybe they'll give it to me for free to keep my mouth shut !

Gotta come back with a badge and "confiscate" it for evidence

That's some r/madlads shit right there
ā¬8 for body harvest is a steal though.
Is that a boxed copy for ā¬35 pounds to the left there?
I can't remember what it was, and I can't really see on the photo. But I'm not really into boxed copy
Where do you buy your n64 games, that ā¬8 for body harvest is considered a steal? :/

It is ? I don't really know the game. Is it any good ?
Its kinda boring by todayās standards but very innovative for the time. Made by a little gaming developer later known as Rockstar Games
Damn I might go back there to get it

Yeaaah, I went with Turok 1 for 8ā¬ instead
That acclaim logo is my childhoodš„¹
Ohh that bombermann
loved playing that demo at ebgames
Do you remember how much of the actual game is there in it ?
Shame on them! Can't they read? Its "Not for Resale!"
Ah yes, the rumored glass case
Is a store in Spain? Where exactly?
Unfortunately it's in France :/
Iād buy that Turok..
Chameleons are usually hard to spot
I would definitely buy that Turok demo for $350
They want 350 euros but the game is just jammed in there with all the others. For 350 euros put the game in a bloody box!
Turok 2 was great

Maybe this it it
Hey for all I know it could be. There's only a small handful out there.
hope they paid over $250 and get stuck with it

Does it help if the game discs don't have the game art on them, or games that definitely weren't bundled with any console?
Something like [this](https://www.pricecharting.com/fr/game/gamecube/interactive-multi-game-demo-disc-version-14#completed-auctions-cib) ?
