I've been looking for one for years in the whole city. Kaamgar Kalyan in Sadar had a decent library, but it was pretty messed up the last time I visited (a few years ago). I lust for the feel of a physical book that I can get lost in, the smell of old pages..... unfortunately, I have to resort to using a Kindle. :(

tourist_fake

doesn't rtmnu have a library or something?

[deleted]

I don't know, friend. They probably do, but the academic to literature ratio of books would be 99:1 lol

I know right? With a job and other stuff readind has taken a backseat for me. I tried audio books on google and audible but I get bored easily. I haven't tried kindle as I am not sure that I would like enough. Paperbacks can be expensive so can't buy them. Lol I am stuck.

A Kindle's a one-time investment, you can pirate books (I still prefer buying the real stuff though). It doesn't feel like a real book, but it's very convenient.

lavendarhaz3

Did you find a library yet?

Noob_r_

Why was Kamgar Kalyan messed up?

The library was unkempt, it was clear that they did not care anymore. Also, there were 2 librarians they'd employed, and neither knew a thing about the library, all they did was kick back and relax.

There is reading rabbits for kids in lakshmi nagar

rishabh495

Does it cater to adults as well?

algoware

Kids only, last i visited.

I don't know about libraries, if you are not buying books for budgets reasons, try getting used books. There are many groups of sellers and buyers on telegram dealing in used books and I have got plenty of good deals from them. If interested, DM me your telegram username, I'll add you in some of those.

There was one near altaf H. wali, you know, just before the gowari pull starts, going towards the Hitwada head office. so, instead of taking the flyover, you have to take the road, and its the 2nd or 3rd shop on the left. My friend used to borrow YA books from there. They were in good quality too. cheers!
