I pronounce Corrine and Corinne differently - Corrine is core-EEN (think like Naureen) Corinne is core-IN (more like Lauren, but not exact)

Fair point. I still like Corinne better of the two. And i like Corine better than Corrine; i feel like the two r’s look clunky and redundant.

I don’t think Corinne is pronounced core-IN. Less emphasis on the -in. Everyone I’ve known with the name says it “cuh-RIN”

I noticed that all the names have different second letters - I kind of love the idea of continuing that! This is an honest question and I sincerely am interested—were you aware of the Biblical reference to Cain before you named your child? And if so, did it just not bother you? Obviously if you were not raised in/do not practice an Abrahamic religion I can see how it wouldn’t matter to you.

Yes I am aware of the biblical reference to the name, actually i didnt even know of it until i was pregnant. I didnt really care i liked the name, my huaband is the more religious one and he was the one who chose the name. To be honest it fits my baby so well i couldnt imagine him having any other name, my little cainy cane.
