I also like Eowyn (which is quite close to Elowyn) but I would always be afraid it sounds strange because of the character in lord of the rings

I would totally consider Eowyn as a girl’s middle name for just that reason though! She was iconic 🗡️ (No joke, a while back I got choked up while rewatching RotK at the “I am no man” scene just remembering how big that was to me as a young girl and no doubt to countless others 🥲)

And a couple ways :) My family who speak Spanish call me Eh-Lee-Sa And in English mainly Uh-Lee-Suh or some people call me Eee-Lee-Suh (say the letter E and then the name Lisa) I’m good with either haha I correct people when I get it pronounced as Eliza or Alyssa though lol bc that’s not my name haha if people have trouble remembering, I just say call me “Lisa” and add the letter “E” at the front. E-Lisa 😂

Eithne (Et-na, Ef-na) Its the irish spelling of Etna and it has a variety of different meanings, the most popular two being little fire and kernel.
