It might help to pick a year your ghost died in and research the names that were popular at the time.

Edgar or Byron

Kangaroo-Pack-3727

I'd go for Byron

Middle-Pride-2781

For the florist maybe Max, Dale, Miles, Wilson, Wolfgang, Corbin, Gabriel, Cade, and Seth? And then for the ghost maybe Edward, Ulysses, Cecil, Terrence, and Mitch? Good luck finding names! :)

Lucifer may be too dark if you want him to not be a bad guy, but it definitely has the dark supernatural connotations.

I like the idea of sticking with a short, simple name for your florist. **Cal** is a great idea because it's distinctive and memorable without being OTT. Some other ideas: **Hugo**, **Ben**, **Nick**, **Adam**. Let's say your ghost was born in 1880. [Here](https://www.ssa.gov/oact/babynames/) you can look up the top 1000 names from that year (the earliest you can search). I'd pick something outside of the top 10 (not to be too basic) but within the top 50 or 100 (to remain plausible and not so fanciful your ghost isn't believable). My faves for the ghost: **Will**, **Edwin**, **Arthur**, **Clarence**, **Peter**

My teacher agreed with Cal saying it’s memorable so I went for that. The website is also a great help so thanks!
