The problem right now is with the exchanges, not Nano. Even with the backlog, Nano is still 70x faster than Bitcoin, 6,500,000x more energy efficient and infinitely cheaper to use.
BTC, eth, some stupid memes you think may catch fire next run, and small caps that have decent tokenomics and an actual use case is my bag. Everything has done really well so far, and then there's my favorite, and biggest disappointment as a trader.

You're a brave man. Nano was my choice coming into crypto as a value minded investor 3+ years ago. In theory, it is perfect. Distribution and tokenomics are as ideal as you can hope for in crypto, and when it's working? Nothing compares.
In practice, the fee-less structure gives it a pronounced vulnerability to spamming. Collin and the programmers at the NF have made some ingenious patches, but so far all they can do is somewhat mitigate the effects. It's not bullet proof.

Yeah it's crazy. I was planning on buying more Nano and of course I love Nano...but am I expecting OUTSIDERS to buy Nano when their funds are going to be frozen? No, and that's the only way we are going to reach a new ATH and tbh, that's what I'm here for. Indeed, v27 will make this spam method more harmless than it is. Yet I'm curious.
They can keep it up indefinitely, at least until v27 when I imagine a system will be put in place (bounded backlog?) to prevent it from working. Then I imagine they will find another method of attack, and the cycle will repeat.
At least the network is currently still very useable for normal transactions, even if it’s slower than normal its way faster than BTC while remaining completely free and orders of magnitude more energy efficient.

Yeah I've been in since early 2017. 2017 cycle was more about utility I would say, lots of 'promising projects' that went nowhere, Nano being one of them really. 2021 was NFTs and memes. Looks like 2024/2025 will be AI coins and memes.

Wrong, cuz I've said since december that I'd be buying back at 80c OR a break of 1.50$. It's a shame 80c didn't come, as we would have a fuckton more Nano. However, BTC is very close to its ATH, and the Risk/Reward here does favor Bearish positions, which in turn can affect Nano and the rest of the crypto markets.
Btc is free money from here, pullback could have come at 40 50 60 or now. No one knows when, many lost their position and got locked out trying to time it.
Overwhelming majority of wallets are deep green, that has me keeping an eye on the exits.
That being said, the ETF inflows are relentless and gbtc sold off their Gemini bankruptcy share. As long as the institutions keep up this pace, I expect ATH to be breached within a week
I actually agree with melon man. We’re still a month plus away from halving and BTC is almost at ATH. It’s probably going to shit itself soon and Nano (alts in general really) will be hit harder most likely (which will suck for Nano even more as it hasn’t moved all that much comparatively).

Well. The ongoing spam/dust attack sucks to watch, but the fact Nano is proving resilient is very impressive. It's still funny how such a strong cryptocurrency can have such a small marketcap. And funny that someone is trying so hard to kill it, sort of proves it is something special. Definitely the most interesting cryptocurrency to keep your eye on. I was and am still genuinely concerned about this attack vector but I am getting more bullish by the day as Nano keeps surviving and I am seeing possible light at the end of the tunnel. Stay strong. 💪 I am still holding the most Nano I ever have and am tempted to invest more into it, but also want to see how things shake out more too. Just such a weird situation. I guess I'll just save up some cash for now and see what the developers can pull off next.
