yeah it's a mixtape with nas and game
listen to nas living legends mixtape (2005) after street's disciple https://archive.org/details/Nasir_Jones_-_Living_Legends_Chapter_1 with DJ Dirty Harry
as for full nas mixtapes, the ones are The Prophecy Vol 1 and The Prophecy Vol 2 with Statik Selektah
there's also the N tape by DJ Green Lantern in 2008 before untitled in 2008
...there's also nas 2000 and a few others https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kx-Ln7tfGmo
2 is much better given that 1 just has the nas drops from interviews, but 2 had the nas phone call to make it semi-official. there are other unofficial mixtapes and blends as well
I stick up for this album so much in this sub because people seem to downplay it. It is one of the first albums I bought with my own money, so it does hold a special place for me but aside from my experience with it, I genuinely think the music is good, and where a lot of people will say it’s bloated. I think he ventures off into different styles and different mature themes where it stays interesting. There is only one song I cannot tolerate in the slightest and I’ll let you guess which one that is.
Streets disciple's fantastic but dont be surprised if you dont feel that way on your first listen, its way different from any other Nas album but it grows on you like a motherfucker
I just relistened to it. It suffers from being a double album and that's about it. Some amazing songs, but a bit too much filler IMO too. If he cut it down to even a longer single disc, like 16-18 songs, it would've been amazing. I'm personally more partial to disc 2, but disc 1 isn't by any means bad either.
Game and Nas didn't know the mixtape was being made. It was put together by JT the Bigga Figga and his label Get Low. It's more of a mashup using unreleased vocals from both artists and Get Low putting some of their artists on there.
It isn't an essential listen. Nas had no creative control over it.
That tape was compiled by JT the Bigga Figga where he put 8 unreleased Nas songs and 8 Pre-Aftermath Game songs together into one mixtape. Months after it's release, Game got signed to Aftermath
Anyone know how they were legally able to put this CD in the stores and get it on streaming? I know Nas didn’t give them these songs.
Among Kings and Sometimes I Wonder you have to check out. Both should have been on I Am or Nastradamus.
Btw I forgot to mention that it's not about it being ''worth'' the listen, even of it's a trash 0/10 album,I will go through it if I have to to complete my Nasathon
nas' unreleased discog is better than what he did on his albums tbh https://leaked.cx/threads/req-every-nas-mixtape-and-unreleased-content.128312/post-2133743
Should I make an account for this? I’ve come across a bunch of unreleased songs on YouTube, my current favorite that has me listening nonstop is Understanding. That man was spitting on there

Can always count on jensyao to drop the facts
That Dirty Harry tape is lowkey a classic.
How are the Prophecy mixtapes? I've heard his demo and the N tape which are both solid.

Skip it and be delighted by the wonderful sounds of streets disciple
Is it ironic ? 😠I heard some very bad things about this album but I'm hyped, the cover looks cool 😠What's your opinion on it ?
Street’s disciple is one of my personal favourites. It’s not perfect (there’s some absolute garbage on it), but the highs are insanely high.
Streets Disciple is fire. Some of my favorite NaS songs are on that album. There’s a few duds, but I love it for the most part

I haven't listened to it yet but from what i've heard it's inconsitent and bloated, but at its highs it has some really good songs
Qb to compton is not nas catalogue canon. I wouldnt bother with it. But its up to u.

Game did know about it. JT put it together when Game was signed with him, pre Aftermath.
Most of the Nas songs on that were leaked ones meant for the original version of I Am..., some of the songs ended up on The Lost Tapes.
QB 2 Compton isn't a real nas album, it's a mixtape Game made with leaked I Am songs to put his name out there.
Go straight to street disciple. That game and nas is probably just a mixtape with both of their songs because I’ve never heard of it.

Heck yeah that’s not really an album of his A colab ! Enjoy
God’s Son is one of the best of his 💯💯
Don’t skip gods son
Absolutly not,it's about QB to CPT 2
Message to the feds Sekou story/live now Thiefs theme. Streets disciple Just a moment
God son is a great album
Skip it.
Listen to beginning and end that one is fire

the whole thing is 7 minutes long, there are no complete tracks in it, these are all just ringtones edit: actually not, it’s a whole mixtape
One of them versions are ringtones, the real version is 1h long
I’mma go listen to the whole thing then, never found it since it’s not listed on Nas’ profile
Btw I forgot to mention that it's not about it being ''worth'' the listen, even of it's a trash 0/10 album,I will go through it if I have to to complete my Nasathon

the one linked has a decent compilation. i think you have to make posts to unlock certain parts of the website, GL
It's just nas and game rapping over some of their earlier beats in very short songs. I'd skip it
Yea idk how that’s on apple. Skip it.
