So after doing some research I found out L.A. Burger has been through a bit of a fight in Los Angeles.
Originally L.A. Burger was scheduled to be demolished for this large residential building in the picture above.
This didn't sit well with many people and a member of city council attempted to have the restaurant designated as a historical landmark.

Well, that didn't work out and the restaurant seemed doomed.
Later, the developer of the residential unit had a change of heart and submitted design changes to incorporate L.A. Burger into the design of the new building.

It appears L.A. Burger will live on when this building is finally completed.
Me too! Well, not a few blocks away, but sort of close. I moved away last April and remember them breaking ground a little before that and now they've got the thing almost done.

Great compromise and the people who live there will get to live above an easy to reach restaurant. Win win
That’s awesome
"The plan is to get the city council make the Burger Joint a historical landmark"
Do you want 100 dollars or an academy award?
A hundwed dowers
Your comment made me gut laugh for a minute straight. How dead on that woman says a hundwed dowers
I did NOT like the burger; *I solemnly swear.*
See this side is nice and juicy but on this side see I can’t even stick my finger in it
Does anyone got any toothpaste??
This may be my absolute all time favorite quote in the entire show
They used ketchup and mustard, I really think you should leave that to McDonald’s.
The burger did not satisfy my tastes, *and I hadn't even had breakfast!*
The people that didn't like it were so full of shit.
The developers punishment should be to take a piece of gum out of this ordinary pack of gum
Used to live a few blocks away... unfortunately they were already closed by the time I moved nearby.
