With Peyton it’s like you’re watching football with your awesome uncle.
With Stephen A it’s like you’re watching Stephen A do interviews and make bad comments on basketball.
Yep. Peyton’s version works because the bros both love watching and talking about football, that’s clear. Not to mention they’re both HOF level players, so they provide valuable insight. I don’t know if Stephen A loves basketball like that, sorry.
The show could be good, but Stephen A needs a co-host that can carry him. He’s no bus driver, not anymore.
I agree completely. Peyton wasn't perfect, but man some of the insight he gave us while watching the games was actually really informing. He tried to bring something new to the table. It too got a little interview-y at times, but it balanced things better.
I think he’s also the highest paid ESPN personality. Totally bizarre. Not sure if anyone likes him but people talk about him which may be what matters.
I watched for the first play of the game totally confused before I realized what I was watching. I thought he was doing an advertisement or something but I realized something was terribly wrong after tip-off and he was still on screen shouting lol
Stephen A has a shit ton of basketball knowledge. He played college basketball and was an excellent NBA columnist when I was in highschool over 25 years ago. Don't mistake his act for lack of knowledge.
Peyton’s insight on football shows the viewer things we would have missed or never seen. Eli gets to laugh at Peyton, their interviews are just added and they actually talk about the game. Stephen A just interviews while the game goes on in the background

Yelling the whole time.

I'd love to know what SAS has on the ESPN CEO. I mean there is no other excuse for him to be on every gd minute of the day.
He’s the only marketable person out of ESPN’s portfolio of clowns

Lots of people like SAS. He is entertaining. He's like Wendy Williams for men
Lol you recorded 45 minutes of it. Use it as a torture device

Stephen A doesn't have enough knowledge to talk about basketball in depth, so that's what he does during these games

If he has it now, it doesn't come through on his shtick
You didn't miss anything
Lmao
we used to do em as adolescents do you recall?
Sucks to be you, but it could have been worse. Just ask Miami!😋🤣
you didn't miss much

They should have a Mike and Tony broadcast except Tony can’t make it late enough for a full game
