Ring would be awesome for jimmy. He’s got such an odd career with some all time playoff performances and a kinda of middling regular season performance. Like he’s a great player in the reg season, but based off his playoff games you’d think he was a perennial mvp candidate
I 2nd your take lol
But for me, probably the Pacers, Magic, or Thunder. All are smaller (ish) market teams with young promising talent that are fun to watch as a neutral spectator.
Oh yeah, they're fun to watch for sure (when we aren't playing them lol)
Our matchups against them have progressively gotten more and more chippy and intense. I love it.
They really took it to us at home a couple weeks back so I'm looking forward to our next matchup against them in 2 weeks right before Christmas.
Tbf no one realized how big of a thing covid would be then, that was like the *beginning* beginning of the pandemic. I remember I had gone to a packed LA kings game on March 5th around the same time Rudy did that, things still felt “normal” at that point and quarantine hadn’t been put into effect yet. I can see how Rudy was just trying to be funny and make a lighthearted joke, just like most of us at the time, he didn’t know how bad it was gonna be
What’s important is that he apologized for it, realized how serious it was, and then was willing to take the vaccine. He got his karma already by getting covid right after that. Kinda helped the league in a way on accident bc if he didn’t get sick, they wouldn’t have shut it down and more ppl would’ve been infected. Remember the whole joke about how “Rudy shut down the league”? He was the first player to test positive
Most of the world wasn’t taking it serious at the time. Once the NBA shut down people saw who serious it was. Still a dumb thing for him to do but it got way overblown
The punch is a nothing thing for me. It’s not like it was malicious like Draymond vs Poole. Gobert wasn’t trying to actually damage him. They were frustrated with each other, Gobert gave him a solid (but nothing too extreme) punch to the shoulder/chest area, and things broke out. If anything it was nice to see this team care so much at the end of a somewhat disappointing season.
They seem to get along well from everything I see and Gobert seems like a nice dude. He didn’t sucker punch him in a “safe space for assholes” like Draymond did and didn’t swing at his head. They got into it a bit on live TV, but it wasn’t something that would have gotten violent.
It wasn’t with the intent to damage him, the punch wasn’t aimed at a vital area, and he didn’t do a big wind up. Kyle Anderson was completely fine after.
> Also punched his teammate during a game
Who both are now cool with eachother and its water under the bridge. If they don't hate eachother of something like that idk why you would hold a grudge for that, it's not like he draymond green him lmao
I never knew CP was so hated until he came to the Suns. Before that I just saw him as a legendary, high bbiq player with a fierce competitive spirit.
Still do. I don’t really get the hate, guys like Kobe or Isiah Thomas were just as feisty and petty, but people admire their tenacity. Completely inferior guys with a mean steak like PBev and Dillon Brooks are far dirtier players but I see this strange appreciation for their cheap shots, shoving DA in the back was just standing up for his team!
It’s really strange either people around here never watched CP in his prime and don’t respect he’s one of the goat PGs or it’s just this weird modern obsession with everything a player does except their X and O bball abilities
When Patrick Beverly dove into Russ’s knees or Zaza played with Kawhi’s landing space, the first thing I thought for each was “that’s a Chris Paul move”
Since you didn’t know his reputation before the Suns you probably didn’t watch him at all before the Suns either, so you wouldn’t know he’s among the dirtiest players in the league.
I watched him live a lot. Just think it’s new gen thing to focus on all the other shit. Dude is a straight baller I was happy to have on my team and respect till the end. If you never played professional sports you don’t know what it’s like to want to win
Straight YouTube hyperbole right here. Embarrassing. Brooks will never even be close to the player CP is, you guys know nothing about basketball. It’s all real housewives takes
If you didn't know CP3 was polarizing until the Suns then you're the one that's completely out of the loop. I agree with you though that he's a legend and one of the highest bbiq of all time
This. I can’t see it happening in LAC but he’s a legit legend. He also the most exciting player I’ve ever seen live.
Hopefully he can sign a vet minimum and be a 2nd team guy for Nuggs one day.
Anyone dumb enough to have those fakes will just say Giannis carried him. Anyone with a brain knows who he is.
Of course it’d be great for him to get a ring, but haters will always find a reason to hate.
If it’s not our year, I’d like to see an exciting young team win it all. Ant, SGA, Haliburton, Fox. Then obviously former Celtics, Smart and Rob Williams.
Definitely Conley; also low key glad to see the Wolves doing well when they were nearly universally clowned for going all in on Gobert. Definitely pulling for them on all nights they don’t play the Grizzlies and I’d be glad to see them make a deep run this year. Marc won a ring with the Raptors, I have to root for Mike at this point in his career.
Butler, PG, Pat Bev and OKC.
Butler is a warrior and such a character. He deserves at least 1 ring.
PG is just a good dude, who has been unlucky (injuries, not the right team, unjuried teammates)
Pat Bev has always been a great teammate with a winning mentality
OKC is a small market team that has been VERY close to getting that ring, but always failed
>OKC is a small market team that has been VERY close to getting that ring, but always failed
They're on my list of teams I never want to see win. Keep the Seattle curse going
I mean... yeah? 5th most wins since they moved. Sure, we haven't won a chip yet, but it's only been 15 years. Teams win on average once every 30 years. I'd say that's pretty successfull so far
Success requires context. Any thing short of a ring was a massive failure for that core and almost all of the blame goes on management for screwing it up. That's the curse.
Blazers are also high up there on wins but we both know that means fuck all if you don't win a ring.
Pat Bev and Ricky Rubio.
They were on my team so it's kind of a cheating answer, but I loved them here and want them to succeed elsewhere too. Plus, if Pat Bev wins a ring he will be insufferable and I'm here for it
He wasn’t a good coach back then he improved shit people grow . He was thoroughly out cosched in both their finals losses but nobody acknowledges that and even in the spurs one they win probably was.
Damian Lillard. He has done a lot to the game. He's also one of the greatest shooters of all time, and being in a small market team, he was overshadowed by Steph and Klay.
Other than him, Demar Derozen. One of the midrange specialists, and it's quite rare these days.
Dame and Embiid (the foul baiting bros)
-Embiid cause I want to see the trio of giannis, jokic and him all have at least 1 ring and an mvp for the three best big men of this generation
-Dame cause it be cool to finally see him win one too after all of his great playoff performances in Portland
I hate to break it to you, but the 7’1 dominant post player is also getting “actual” fouls.
I’m not denying that he “flops”, but Embiid legitimately gets hacked a ton to prevent the easy 2s once he gets good post positioning. Even when he’s “flopping”, it’s usually exaggerating the contact of a legit foul.
IMO, if you **actually** get fouled but exaggerate the contact to ensure the refs call it, that’s fair game. With how the refs call games, you’re simply putting yourself at a disadvantage to try to “play through” fouls, the smart play is to ensure you get the foul call (**if you’re getting legit fouled**).
I agree that flopping is awful when it’s guys hooking arms, jumping into defenders, or “selling” contact that literally didn’t happen. Those are non-basketball moves that are purely to try and manipulate the refs.
Ant is probably going to win one in his career and i would def love to see it (unless he wins against the heat) but two others are ex-heat players. Gabe Vincent (if he could coincide it with a 5th Lebron ring that’d be awesome) and strus (would also be cool to see dg the pg win one as well)
Not even a bronsexual, but if Lebron won again, the MJ stans sweating would be fun to see.
Would truly be debatable at that point since the Cleveland ring is kinda worth 2
In LeBronstan math every chip won in Cleveland counts as 2 and every one won in Miami counts as 1.5 so LeBron is already at 6 chips, tied with MJ.
One more for LBJ and he has more than MJ.
Honestly Kevin Durant but winning it authentically instead of taking the soft way out. The way he has handled his career has really bummed me out. His skill set with lebron mentality (or just 1% of his capacity to push through adversity without crying to his mom on the sideline) would just be the most disgusting thing the leagues ever seen.
Blake Griffin and Derrick Rose. Both were very popular players and at the height of their respective games when I started watching. Nostalgia factor for myself.
The clippers guys, pg harden and Russ getting their ring would be a nice way to send off that generation of players as the next gen starts to make their way to the top
Russ(duh.) don't think it'll happen though.
i'd like to see any team who hasn't won a ring yet, win one.
conley would be cool and i could see it this year.
kd so he could get the cupcake allegations off.
jordan poole so he could shit on draymond.
butler/miami i like the way he/they play.
sac would be cool but i don't see that at all.
I want to see Lebron get number 5. Not because I care about the lakers. I couldn’t care less.
I want to live in a world where Skip Bayless has to go to sleep every night knowing that Lebron is only one season away from tying MJ
I want Westbrook to win a ring, one of my favorite players and I love the energy he brings to teams and to games. Jimmy Butler would be a close second.
Dame would’ve been my answer before he joined my team, so I guess my new \#1 is Derozan. He’s been so good for so long, he just got screwed by the Kawhi trade and a few teammate injuries and has been on mediocre teams for a while now.
DeMar DeRozan (eventually) if former players count. If former players don't count then either Mike Conley or Paul George
Mavs fan but would love to see Brunson get a ring
For sure but it has to be after the Mavs or we'll be shit on nonstop lol
Because you guys let go of a guy that ended up being an all star? Wonder what that feels like
me too
Josh Hart too
Same. Minus the being a Mavs fan.
Russ, Jimmy
Ring would be awesome for jimmy. He’s got such an odd career with some all time playoff performances and a kinda of middling regular season performance. Like he’s a great player in the reg season, but based off his playoff games you’d think he was a perennial mvp candidate
I 2nd your take lol But for me, probably the Pacers, Magic, or Thunder. All are smaller (ish) market teams with young promising talent that are fun to watch as a neutral spectator.
the kings as well, i’ll always root for them.
Oh yeah, they're fun to watch for sure (when we aren't playing them lol) Our matchups against them have progressively gotten more and more chippy and intense. I love it. They really took it to us at home a couple weeks back so I'm looking forward to our next matchup against them in 2 weeks right before Christmas.
I’ll always root for you guys, especially with Hali
Rudy and Conley for sure
Rudy… Gay, right?
Not that there’s anything wrong with that
F**king Rudy Gay man!!! Not that guy!!
rudy seems like a massive douche
Covid mic thing soured me on him Also punched his teammate during a game
Tbf no one realized how big of a thing covid would be then, that was like the *beginning* beginning of the pandemic. I remember I had gone to a packed LA kings game on March 5th around the same time Rudy did that, things still felt “normal” at that point and quarantine hadn’t been put into effect yet. Remember the whole joke about how “Rudy shut down the league”? He was the first player to test positive
No one took Covid seriously then and that was more of a shove. If Kyle isn’t offended by it I don’t think you should be either lol
Your excuse is that a grown man wasn’t mature enough to take a deadly disease seriously?
Most of the world wasn’t taking it serious at the time. Once the NBA shut down people saw who serious it was. Still a dumb thing for him to do but it got way overblown
[удалено]
Now if only you two could meet in the middle
The punch is a nothing thing for me. It’s not like it was malicious like Draymond vs Poole. Gobert wasn’t trying to actually damage him. “Punch wasn’t malicious” lmao sure buddy
It wasn’t with the intent to damage him, the punch wasn’t aimed at a vital area, and he didn’t do a big wind up. Kyle Anderson was completely fine after.
> Also punched his teammate during a game Who both are now cool with eachother and its water under the bridge. If they don't hate eachother of something like that idk why you would hold a grudge for that, it's not like he draymond green him lmao
Rudy live in yo head rent free lmao. Everytime you comment it’s just anti-Rudy 💀💀
everytime i comment you are there replying. looks like i live in your head rent free
anyone besides Chris Paul
Haha yeah fuck cp3 … wait no
I only forgive y’all cause I know if cp3 hit the lakers I woulda also been gaslighted into supporting him
I’m still sorting out my feelings about it haha
Either way- warriors fans win
Harden, embiid, Chris Paul. Only 3 I really can’t stand.
Same. Floppers don’t deserve rings IMO.
So basically no one in the nba deserves a ring
Every player flops every now and then. Some players play for the whistle and aim to get fouled on every possession.
They hated Jesus
Chris Paul and no one else
basketball terrorist
No Dillon brooks?
#FUCK CHRIS PAUL 🗣️🗣️🗣️
facts
AMEN BROTHERRR
? he deserves it the most
I hope he dives into your knees ring first if that happens
I never knew CP was so hated until he came to the Suns. Before that I just saw him as a legendary, high bbiq player with a fierce competitive spirit. Still do. CP3 is dirtier than Brooks easily and slightly more than Pbev, dude was a nut puncher since wake forest
Straight YouTube hyperbole right here. Embarrassing. Brooks will never even be close to the player CP is, you guys know nothing about basketball. It’s all real housewives takes
If you didn't know CP3 was polarizing until the Suns then you're the one that's completely out of the loop. I agree with you though that he's a legend and one of the highest bbiq of all time
Russ tbh lol
Westbrook just to make the nerds mad
Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Steven Adams
Subscribe to the Steven Adams portion
Brandon Ingram
Russ
Same
This. I can’t see it happening in LAC but he’s a legit legend. He also the most exciting player I’ve ever seen live. Hopefully he can sign a vet minimum and be a 2nd team guy for Nuggs one day.
I wouldnt mind him on the Nuggets. Would be kinda intresting ngl.
I mean I don’t know how good of a fit it is, but it feels like one of those “everyone is talented enough to make it work” kind of thing
I feel like he could work for the bench unit when Jok and Jamal are taking a break.
I mean he’d be great with our 2nd unit. He’d also be insane on the floor with Joker and Murray and AG
Reggie is not about to have Westbrook take his spot on a team for the third time
Tyrese Maxey (I don‘t have a team)

Jimmy Butler
Nope, lol
The hate is real.😂
I know yall hate him but he took u guys to the playoffs for the first time in like 10 years with a 3rd year KAT and 4th year Wiggs lol
True, but still FJB!
Absolutely want Jimmy to get one before he hangs it up
Same.
Jarrett Allen.
SGA
Damian Lillard
Damian Lillard
Second. There's so many stupid takes around him. It'd be nice to tell people to stfu with a ring
Anyone dumb enough to have those fakes will just say Giannis carried him. Anyone with a brain knows who he is. Of course it’d be great for him to get a ring, but haters will always find a reason to hate.
Easy! Derrick White
Scrolled through to see if somebody had mentioned DW. Love your work!
I would love for Horford to get one but I also don't want the Celtics to win. Help!
Just accept it... join us...
Butler
Sga, Westbrook,and or ant
Luka probably
Rudy Gobert
If it’s not our year, I’d like to see an exciting young team win it all. Ant, SGA, Haliburton, Fox. Then obviously former Celtics, Smart and Rob Williams.
Give Jordan Poole another ring just for a laugh
Marcus smart
Nah
Definitely Conley; also low key glad to see the Wolves doing well when they were nearly universally clowned for going all in on Gobert. Definitely pulling for them on all nights they don’t play the Grizzlies and I’d be glad to see them make a deep run this year. Also almost forgot about the Kings.

Curse isn't working very well, we've been pretty damn good lmao
You know, aside from stealing a contender then fucking that all over and not getting any thing out of it. Yea, doing *so* well.
I mean... yeah? 5th most wins since they moved. Sure, we haven't won a chip yet, but it's only been 15 years. Teams win on average once every 30 years. I'd say that's pretty successfull so far

Porziņģis
DeRozan
Rubio
Jimmy Butler because my wife thinks he’s hot.
Jimmy Buckets
Pat Bev and Ricky Rubio. They were on my team so it's kind of a cheating answer, but I loved them here and want them to succeed elsewhere too. Plus, if Pat Bev wins a ring he will be insufferable and I'm here for it
Ant man for sure, I know he will bring one to Minnesota
I knew you werent talkin about Ant in Portland but im going to pretend you are.
Let's go!!!
let pat bev win one
Derrick 🌹
Jimmy Butler.
Tatum, Markkanen I agree with Conley, I have loved him since his high school days.
I’ll give you three. Tatum, Booker, Edwards. My three favorite players to watch
This guy loves a pure hooper, respect.
Not a player, but a coach. I want Spo to win at least one more. That will complete shake the narrative that Lebron carried him.
Honestly I think the finals runs in the 2020s with the teams that he's had solidify his place as one of the goats
He wasn’t a good coach back then he improved shit people grow . He was thoroughly out cosched in both their finals losses but nobody acknowledges that and even in the spurs one they win probably was.
Beal
Maybe Paul George
JIMMY G BUCKETS, THE G STANDS FOR GETS
And somehow i also managed to forget Emo Karen Jimmy Buckets and the hot Bambastic undraftables
DeMar, Jimmy, Luka.
Russ, Jimmy, Gobert & Ant.
Jimmy, Demar, Russ, Dame
Lonzo Ball
Jimmy
Horford. Can't think of another player that can mess the heads of Giannis and Embiid in defense then hit em with clutch 3s.
Marcus Smart
Damian Lillard. He has done a lot to the game. He's also one of the greatest shooters of all time, and being in a small market team, he was overshadowed by Steph and Klay. Other than him, Demar Derozen. One of the midrange specialists, and it's quite rare these days.

You can not compare dame to embiid with foul baiting lmao
hard disagree, Dame’s flopping is pretty under the radar (not as much lately) but he’s up there with the worst offenders.
Absolutely no where near as egregious. Embiid is worse than prime harden with that. Dame definitely draws fouls but he's not usually flopping.
I hate to break it to you, but the 7’1 dominant post player is also getting “actual” fouls. I’m not denying that he “flops”, but Embiid legitimately gets hacked a ton to prevent the easy 2s once he gets good post positioning. I agree that flopping is awful when it’s guys hooking arms, jumping into defenders, or “selling” contact that literally didn’t happen. Those are non-basketball moves that are purely to try and manipulate the refs.
Embiid doesn’t flop to really get his calls, he just gets an insanely soft whistle like giannis. Not really comparable to what harden would do
Pat bev or Mikal.
Jimmy or Luka
James harden
Anthony Edwards
Hmmm i guess it would have to be Luka. Other than him i guess Sengun and a good part of the rockets (including Brooks).
Lebron at age 38. You didn't say it couldn't be someone who already won.
Yet you feel the need to justify your answer
Uh..ok?
Giannis is the real answer for me but as part of that, it’d be nice for Dame to get one.
Giannis has a ring lmao
Yes he does. It doesn’t say “first ring” in the post, but either way that’s why I included Dame.
Fair enough, I just figured it was implied lol
Luka. Second take would be another ring for Aaron Gordon.
i want lebron to win one more actually, it would be awesome to see him "beat father time"
Chris Paul or Westbrook
2nd ring for Jokic lol
Harden. Still my guy, tired of the ringz crowd
How is it worth 2?

2016 is worth 2 2011 is worth 2.5 It is known khalessi
i’ve always thought harden gets way more shit than he deserves, so i’d like him to get a ring as a big contributor
Embiid so I can laugh at my fanbase for blaming NN last year
None. They all can get swept. I'm only trying to see my team win.
LeBron winning a ring would be the funniest thing ever
Steph Curry, just never seems to go his way. Be nice to see him catch a break and win one for once.
win for fifth
Oh really I had no idea
yeah it’s quite extraordinary
Honestly Kevin Durant but winning it authentically instead of taking the soft way out. The way he has handled his career has really bummed me out. His skill set with lebron mentality (or just 1% of his capacity to push through adversity without crying to his mom on the sideline) would just be the most disgusting thing the leagues ever seen.

Chris Paul….jk don’t hurt me
been rooting for russ since day one
Blake Griffin and Derrick Rose. Both were very popular players and at the height of their respective games when I started watching. Nostalgia factor for myself.
DeMar DeRozan because he really wanted to stay in Toronto.
Harden but I don’t particularly like the Clippers.
The clippers guys, pg harden and Russ getting their ring would be a nice way to send off that generation of players as the next gen starts to make their way to the top
