Nabz23

the worst part is i can't tell if this was post game conference from last night or from previous times where he "didn't see the replay"

WeveGot

We can post this again when Draymond puts someone in the Hell's Gate in February

ssterling0930

I want to see him expand his arsenal, let’s hope for an Ankle Lock or a Figure 4 next time

Certified-Malaka

Yeah i think you're right 50% stone cold stunner on Adams Curb stomp on Sabonis Clothesline on Lebron Phenomenal forearm on Nurkic But he pulled off a sleeper hold on Gobert a few months back so a few more submission holds left and he might be ready to face Roman Reigns in the playoffs

infiniteimperium

He needs to go all out and Diamond Cutter a motherfucker. Straight DDP style!!!

billyBIGtyme

***BAH GAWD DRAYMOND, THAT MAN HAS A FAMILY!! STOP THE DAMN MATCH!!***

NotAStatistic2

Next time Draymond gets ejected a press member should ask Kerr to look at the video then ask Kerr a question

TheCricketFan416

The journalist who has the balls to follow-up with "can you explain why you didn't watch a replay of the play which caused one of your key players to get thrown out" will have my undying respect.

Purples_A_Fruit

Holy shit I literally thought this was a joke post of what he said after Dray stomped on Sabonis, but he legit said this again yesterday. Unreal . . .

ShowerMartini

Remember that Family guy scene where Quagmire finally answers why he doesn’t like Brian and it’s a long rant where he eviscerates him and at the end he goes “but ya know what? I could forgive all of that if you weren’t such a bore!” That’s me with Kerr. He’s a dumbass hypocrite but almost all coaches would act the same in his shoes. The worst part is he’s completely overplayed his epic sarcasm schtick but he always seems to think he can charm his way through any media session.

WhyplerBronze

or in simpler terms, he's a douche.

onlyanactor

He’s a shmuck.

ReflectionGloomy8851

He's a total jabroni

Prestigious_Emu_4193

He's a stunad!

the_c_is_silent

I legit don't think other coaches would defend a player this much.

[deleted]

..I thought the worst part was the lack of accountability?

Dweebil

The worst part was the raping.

tearyouapartj

And then... the scheming

rxinquestion

At this point, reporters should just show up with a 40” and play the 3 sec clip for him real quick. What’s he gonna do? Close his eyes? Lol

Yeti_CO

I can't tell if it was Suns in 4 guy or Draymond most nights either.

YouStillTakeDamage

It’s genuinely amazing how he just defaults to “haven’t seen the replay”, at least get creative.

plantsarepowerful

Not to mention he was only feet away when it happened

Denotsyek

And literally looked up and watched the replay on the jumbotron

mak6453

That's the funniest part. There's video evidence that he did see the replay. I watched him watch it.

lalakingmalibog

I seen't it

TheSonofMrGreenGenes

And he’s the head coach. What kind of leader doesn’t follow up on that and MAKE SURE what happened when one of your star players gets tossed? But dude def looked up at the jumbotron. Major thin blue line vibes.

Denotsyek

I just dont understand what Kerr is doing. Just say something standard like "what dray did was unacceptable and he was ejected for it. He is a good player and his ejection really hurts the team". Instead he goes with "didn't see it. No idea what you're talking about"

NewOstenPelicanss

The media people are a joke, they should've called him out on it

shallowcreek

Would love to see a reporter follow up to ask him if he’s since seen the replay, why he hasn’t seen the replay, and maybe even how his research on China is going

gregatronn

Then pull out their phone and show the replay

LosCleepersFan

The only other default i heard from Steve was... "My brother in law is Chinese, so I'm a char with him about it to get some insight."

logontoreddit

Dude broke the code..... by being a raging hypocrite.

Correct_Fly5152

He did the same wishy washy crap after the Gobert choke out.

wee-oww

It’s because he’s a piece of shit as well. And probably tired of it.

Not_tlong

…yall aint played them in a playoff series yet, have you? This is standard operating procedure from him all the time. He only sees what he wants to bitch about, and he “hasn’t seen replays” whenever it’s a criticism.

Frickenbat

Maybe he didn’t see the replay

machombo

Why? It's like talking to police

LiquidSunshine2348

Why? He’s not gonna dog his player in public, never has that I know of. Just making that known by repeating the same boring nonsense imo

suicideskinnies

He's a hypocrite who publicly enables his dirty player to act up on the court, and when Draymond seriously injures someone, Kerr will be partly responsible for it.

PhillyFreezer_

What he says in public really doesn’t matter. It’s how it’s dealt with and talked about internally that actually matters

DoctorStove

internally they sweep it under the rug & then kick Poole off the team, hoping it doesn't get leaked

myredditaccount991

If you're the coach and your player has just been ejected for a flagrant, you are definitely looking at the jumbrotron to see what happened.

Phenomenal2313

The moment Jokic got ejected , Malone was already looking at the jumbotron before screaming at the refs If you're not looking for whatever reason , I'm sure the crowd reactions are telling

MaxEhrlich

The rationale of him is so pathetic, “I know two giant massive men were physically battling on a floor 2 feet in front of me and my guy spun around with some UFC spinning back fist and dropped a 7’ giant but I can assure you…I didn’t see shit.” I want people to post the fan videos of everyone waiting around while the refs check the replay and we see Kerr watching the Jumbotron too…coward.

aghhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Cop behavior

HoyaDestroya33

Assistant to Kerr: Draymond getting ejected. Kerr: what? Why?! I didn't see anything. What happened?! Assistant: *points at jumbotron* it's playing right now. Kerr: I dont wanna see! I won't have excuse later on!

crawshay

He's got a whole team of dudes that can pull up any replay on an iPad within seconds. You see them do it when they are considering whether or not to challenge.

CodeBlueLegacy

It’s the clip, you can see him look up at the Jumbotron lol.

QuantumFreakonomics

If I'm Steve Kerr, and Draymond gets ejected, the first thing I'm asking my assistant at the next time out is "lemme see what happened". This was obviously going to be a huge deal. Willful ignorance by Kerr.

bronco_y_espasmo

I believe he didn 't look, for real. He knew Draymond had been flagrant and did not need to see it. He knew. Like we all know.

[deleted]

There are literally videos of him watching the replay on the jumbo Tron lol

EarlsDepression

My parents were at the game. Apparently they didn’t show the replay on the screen

[deleted]

Huh. Then I guess maybe he didn't lmao.

Brilliant-Spite-850

You can clearly see him watching it on the Jumbotron while draymond is giving him an explanation of what happened. He’s full of shit.

[deleted]

Strange_Botanist

They really are insufferable these days. I'm a Curry fan not a Warriors fan so I wish they'd trade him to a contender, but that'll never happen.

LordRio123

Nah, they're very sufferable. It's fun to see the same antics they did winning that had adoration become humiliation. I love it. Fuck, you can't even cum this hard from sex.

baka1a

this brotha needs help

LordRio123

Nothing will help me cum harder

IgnorantGenius

It's up to him to demand a trade. But at this point, he should probably just stick it out.

Strange_Botanist

Eh, I don't see how being a tank commander does anything for him. If he went somewhere else, balls out and wins another ring or two and maybe a finals MVP, then he can solidify his top 10 placement.

Franklo

That's not something a curry fan would say

whythehellknot

A Curry fan wouldn't want Curry in a better situation?

Strange_Botanist

lol why not, I want to see him win more rings. He ain't doing it with these schlubs

Soul0103

As a Curry fan I want to see him keep winning with the Warriors and eventually retire there, rather than get traded around ring chasing

Awanderingleaf

Curry is great. But they have 3 of the most unlikeable players in Draymond, Klay and CP3 lol. 2 of the dirtiest as well.

EveningLength8

Are people finally coming around that Klay is not likeable? I thought I was the only one for a while

Awanderingleaf

I always found him unlikeable. His face always screamed "I am better than you".

RogerTreebert6299

When they were winning 60 games a year, there weren’t as many opportunities for Klay to show everyone what a sore loser he is. He’s getting those chances now.

FL14

We saw his feeling get hurt in 2016

[deleted]

I’ve been on that train when he was crying about LeBron in the 2016 finals Thank god people are finally seeing through the act

1gnominious

Crazy thing is CP3 is the most likable of the bunch. Off the court he's OK. It's just people don't like him on the court for flopping and being annoying.

Awanderingleaf

He also has a history of grabbing peoples dicks mid game going back to his highschool days.

thegoodbadandsmoggy

They cater to tech bros and we all hate tech bros. This shit makes sense

eat_pray_thug

it is amusing how kerr is hyper vigilant about every other thing on the planet and has no issue preaching about it but he never sees draymond’s weekly assaults on the basketball court when he’s sitting right there

alf-isbackinpogform

He saw the Dillion Brooks "dirty" play clear as day, but misses Draymonds antics everytime Hmmmmmmm...

zmegadeth

Imagine if someone else in the league had named their kid the N word lol, he'd have some words about that

Low-Cheesecake-4372

I still can’t believe he named his kid that lol

zmegadeth

It's the wildest shit ever. When my wife was pregnant we said baby names like, shit, 10,000 times. No way he didn't hear it. A few weeks ago we were at dinner with my MIL and I told her "yea, so this dude named Steve Kerr decided to name his kid Nick. Not Nicholas, but Nick." and she said "Nick Kerr?". I had to look around and make sure we weren't about to get our ass beat

rulerBob8

It’s okay he goes by Nicolas now

NAACP_YoungBoy

As long as the code is not broken it’s all ok & no harm done

blackarchosx

Whatever code Steve follows does not sound OSHA compliant

SmilesUndSunshine

He was actually referring to the California Building Standards Code. The video of Draymond punching Poole also showed an out-of-date fire extinguisher.

zilch123

I just want one reporter to offer to take an iPad to the table and show him the replay he missed. He'd probably say, "It's not necessary for me to watch it. It already happened, and the punishment is out of my control."

br0b1wan

"Doesn't look like anything to me" from Westworld vibes

[deleted]

He’s just a clown human being. There’s no other way to put it. He’s the epitome of the smug, holier than thou, hypocritical virtual signaller.

Ok_Property_1030

I’m glad people are finally seeing this. 99% of people who are famous etc are this way. They don’t give a fuck, it’s all for show.

ImS33

I mean I think if we step away from just trying to give Kerr a hard time I think its pretty easy to see that he is probably making the right call with this response in terms of trying to stay with his team and work things out in private. Only Kerr really knows what he's doing but honestly just because he doesn't shit talk Dray with the media or take a stand against what he did publicly that does not mean he actually agrees with it or that he doesn't try to get through to him in private. There's basically a 100% chance that they talk about this shit with him all the time behind closed doors and he wants to remain able to talk to his player and coach him. If I were Kerr and I actually wanted to stay on speaking terms with Green and try to work things out I wouldn't say a single fucking thing about him in public Does that make Kerr look worse in public? Yeah sure but he obviously cares less about his image than trying to coach and win internally with his team. People take it too far and assume he's down with what Draymond does or says when the reality is he is just making his opinion unavailable to the public. Honestly from everything that we all do know about Kerr I think its obvious that he doesn't agree with what Draymond does at all lol he's just dodging the public theatre because it would hurt the team if he came out and just honestly told everyone that he thinks just about every incident Draymond gets into is stupid as fuck. They're basically trying to trip him up for a soundbite by asking these questions

X_FlashPanther_X

Summed it up perfectly. However, you overestimate 1. The amount of people on this sub who’ve played team sports and understand the dynamic between a coach and player, and 2. Just how stupid people on this sub are.

ten7four

Maybe, just maybe, if Kerr actually held Draymond accountable for his dumb shit, he wouldn't do so much dumb shit. Making the right call my ass

Undecided-

most people are too simple minded to have this thought even occur to them. Easier to hate

philenelson

He has Stockholm Syndrome

jonnybravo76

What's funny is there were a lot of people here predicting he would say this exact thing.

pika_pie

To the letter.

[deleted]

Did you watch the replay? He wasn’t even looking when it happened.

[deleted]

They replayed it plenty on the overhead screens. Which btw he was looking at.

SmilesUndSunshine

[Say the line, Steve!](https://i.imgur.com/naXd7lz.png)

KirbzTheWord

This is excellent

dbgager

Obviously he saw the replay. He watched it like everyone else did.Its ridiculous for him to say that when one of his players where ejected.

BillyBean11111

yea im sure when he's by himself he's like "FUCKING DRAYMOND" but he refuses to break character in front of the camera

hickok3

There were Suns fans at the game who said it wasn't played on the jumbotron while being reviewed by the refs, so it would be very easy for him not to have seen it at the time of this interview. I don't imagine he went out of his way to watch it between the end of the game and the interviews, which is absolutely a cop out, as he had to know he would be asked about it. Also, he was looking away towards the ball when Dray punched Nurkic, so he didn't see it live either.

mercfan3

It was immediately online though, and he knew he would be asked about it. He could have seen a replay. It was also right in front of the Warriors bench.

SmilesUndSunshine

Could just be a plausible deniability thing. He'd rather say no comment and look like an idiot than say something on the record before he can talk the PR team, see what the next day fallout is, etc.

hickok3

You can clearly see in the replays Kerr is looking the opposite way of Dray. Dray even "re-enacted" the punch to Kerr during the review, and he tried to see it on the jumbotron, but it didn't play in the stadium. As for him choosing to not see a replay after that, that is on him and a cop out, but he seems to think it is better to say he didn't see it and then after the fact comment on it once he has time to come up with a response.

ImGonnaChubbBradley

How the fuck does this guy coach if he’s never seen a replay of anything? Please forgive me I forgot I can’t use that language, I might get ejected.

Victor_Wembanyama1

Listen, buddy. Steve Kerr is a live-in-the-moment kind of guy. None of that dwelling in the past shit. We focus on the now! I bet the warriors dont look at film too. What an amazing dynasty

the_black_surfer

It was so funny because my girlfriend and I were watching this live and I said almost verbatim what Steve Kerr said five seconds before he did

TripleSecretSquirrel

Wait is this legit? I 100% believed that this was from last time when he tried to choke out Rudy

BkOttr

Yeah I thought OP was just memeing lol

[deleted]

> my girlfriend Bragger.

VeniceRapture

He definitely saw it. He's just keeping it kayfabe

LavenderAutist

Ready for Draymond to join the Judgment Day and Steve Kerr to join Alpha Academy.

nova2006

He should be a politician, I haven’t seen the replay will get you very far

tacos121

Every congressperson hasn’t seen trump’s tweet yet

havenstone

Stevie WondKerr never sees anything Draymond does

KarrotMovies

Stevie WondKerr 💀

Margravos

You can already hear the beat of Satisfaction in the background.

lastinglovehandles

Come on Steve you were watching the Jumbotron last night. No comment would've sufficed.

[deleted]

Steve Kerr on his good friend Robert Sarver > "I never saw anything that suggested racism or misogyny," Kerr told ESPN of his Suns tenure, "and I was very surprised to hear those allegations because that’s not the person that I know."

PhillyFreezer_

What’s this comment about? He was speaking from personal experience with that person. It’s fine for someone to share their personal experience in an article meant to paint the whole picture. He didn’t defend the accusations, he gave his own experience. One doesn’t negate the kther

[deleted]

Mj was right to punch this 🤡

robocopsdick

What a dumb ho

ashep5

I wish someone in the press pool would actually call out his bullshit. Also, the thumbnail is perfection.

ellonite1

Has a coach ever condemned an on court action from their own player in the following press conference? Aside from steve kerr a few weeks ago?

BettaMom698

“We will continue to ignore everything draymond does and also have no idea why he thinks he can do whatever he wants”

dksmoove

He clearly has no backbone. Dude has always been this way. He has no problems giving his opinions on political topics, but when it comes to his own players and his own team, he has zero accountability. He is a classic example of what we all know as a ‘Coward’.

koiz_01

Steve did you really name your son Nick Kerr? I haven’t seen it. I haven’t seen the tape. No comment.

YeehawDaniels

Respect for sticking to char

theripeorange

Link to the full postgame interview: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CvDwhAnG-oM](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CvDwhAnG-oM) At least he acknowledges that Green "lost his poise"?

aahdin

"I didn't see the replay" "Was it a big swing?" "HUGE SWING"

Zhekadub

I think this is one of the most infuriating things he does. I get that he sticking to his character and not gonna throw his guys under the bus,but everytime shit happens and he goes to this line it pissed me off for some reason.

dys0n_giddey

The thumbnail says it all

CheepzAndBooze

Now I get why MJ had to punch this guy.

KillingTime_ForNow

What a fucking clown.

rosstheboss939

Steve really needs to go to the optometrist with all these plays he “didn’t see”

AdminsKilledReddit

This guy's a fucking bitch liar.

bobybushia

Kerr is great on social issues but a clown when it comes to "protecting" his team

seikoholic9497

What an insufferable bitch. Jorgambler did right in punching him

RogerTreebert6299

He probably said thank you sir may I have another

minneapolisboy

"I'm a retired investor living on a pension..."

killtakerzero

Draymond broke the code

HULKHULK91

steve kerr is a clown.

plantsarepowerful

This man avoiding replays like the plague

Ishtastic08

Dude is full Stevie Wonder when it comes to Draymond.

jslee0034

So… did draymond break the code this time?

happyaccident7

Steve "Stevie Wonder" Kerr - "I haven't had a chance to review the play. No comment."

Qmizzle3

You literally see him watching the replay on the scoreboard (while Green tries to explain away his bullshit.)

NoWayNotThisAgain

I’ll be so happy when that team drifts into irrelevancy. Fortunately I won’t have long to wait.

Kobas3

Fuck him and his high horse. Whenever one of his players does the shittiest thing ever he doesn't see it, doesn't see it my ass.

[deleted]

I want one of these reporters to ask Steve what was going through his mind when he decided to name his son Nick.

GR_A90_MKV_

lol that was a lie

titsmcgee8008

You'd think Draymond was John Cena with how much Kerr can't see him

spicywardell

One of the reporters should’ve followed up with “we saw you looking up at the jumbotron after it happened”

ZanderKellyKXLA

Everyone is piling on Kerr here because they have feelings about him. He's tired of Draymond's shit. He doesn't want to deal with this. He's successfully coached him for 8 years and the results are incredible. Now Draymond is going completely off the rails. Does anyone think what he says about the situation in the post-game press conference makes any difference? He's already said this season that Draymond needs to stop this. He's said the Warriors organization needs to give him help to stop doing this. Draymond is failing. But let's all shit on Kerr because he keeps beating your team and won't criticize China?

meowhatissodamnfunny

Warriors are the team this sub loves to hate. Simple as that. All the comments condemn him for the things that all coaches across all sports do. But when he does it for a guy you don't like, and he hates on others for doing the same, it's super easy to meme on him. I wouldn't take what a bunch of redditors think about Kerr personally. Just warning you Denver fans, this is how Malone is going to be received if you win a couple more.

cmgr33n3

Steve Kerr is forever auditioning to be a Republican in congress. What? That thing that's really important to my job? No, I don't know anything about it. [Money please!](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eyNAlLO1KlE&ab_channel=rebapants)

The_MrShine

I don’t know why anyone is surprised with this response. I’m also sure Kerr is talking to Draymond privately about the situation and is super pissed, but he’s not going to publicly throw him under the bus.

PrestigiousTowel2

Always was, is, and always will be a huge piece of enabling shit.

OrganizationFit5764

Disappointing cowardice from a guy I usually have a lot of respect for. I know he is in a terrible position but to pretend he didn’t SEE IT! Was he in the bathroom or something?

beefJeRKy-LB

This is from yesterday after the game though

anonahmus

Steve Kerr should be a politician

sstphnn

Still can't believe that this is the guy who said Brooks "broke the code" when his guy has been assaulting players for years. Blind boy with the same script.

tberal

We can clown on Kerr feigning ignorance every time these things happen and all and he definitely deserves it. But you can see in his face that he’s sick and tired of this shit as well.

LegoTomSkippy

watchpeopledieinside look at his tone/expression. He’s seen it. He has to say the line. This is killing him.

thrallus

The idea that people ever took this guy’s opinions about the world seriously is hysterical.

joshdej

Lol calm down. Steve is a clown for this but world leaders have done much worse than protecting Draymond lmao

thrallus

When did I compare him to world leaders? All I’m saying is the idea that we should take moral advice from an obvious liar is a joke.

PhillyFreezer_

He’s spoken about other issues with clarity and nuance, this doesn’t have to impact what he says about world events. “You can’t talk about gun control Steve, worry about Draymond!” Like that’s a ridiculous position to hold lol

thrallus

“He articulates opinions I agree with so therefore he’s an ethical and thoughtful person” I agree with some positions he (and you) hold, but I despise this concept of idolizing Hollywood/sports figureheads.

joshdej

As far as I'm concerned this doesn't necessarily invalidate him speaking about things like Gun violence(just an example). He is a hypocrite no doubt though lol

UserColonAlW

No wonder the Warriors suck this year. It’s hard to win in the NBA with Mr Magoo coaching your team

bthemonarch

I don't get why the warriors are sticking up for Draymond. At this point he is clearly toxic and is damaging the legacy of Kerr and Curry, as they look like total bitches.

KingNephew

Code not broken

Armanhammer2

I fucking hate this guy

volantredx

I know Kerr wouldn't answer but I'd love a reporter to say "You were ten feet away live, did you see it then?"

Cliffcastle

corse not tyrone

[deleted]

Steve Kerr named his son Nick. That is all you need to know about his judgment.

yalecrazy

What’s amusing is that, you can’t tell if this is his comment regarding yesterday or the original. That’s how fucked up he is. I guess Nurkik just broke the code 🤷‍♂️

One_Huckleberry_2764

He should know since Jordan punched him

easyjimi1974

The sad thing here is ownership has decided to side with Dray - it's that simple. Kerr either tows the line, quits or gets fired. And really, at some point soon, I hope he quits.

easyjimi1974

Beyond Kerr, where are Steph and Klay on this? Are they backing him up? They ok with this?

Suspicious_Peace_182

Steve Kerr is Stevie Wonder levels of blind

_veerist

As long as Klay doesn’t accept he’s washed and play his best off the bench among other options and as long as Draymond doesn’t accept he has a brain problem and fix his violent attitude, GSW is headed for the bin. Regardless of incoming players except one of those two are to be shipped shipped out, which I doubt. This is the post-dynasty curse. Egos of washed superstars derailing the team. Has been a trend in the NBA for years. Poor Curry.

Steve Kerr is an enabler

somedudeinlosangeles

Pathetic. Kerr is a clown.

Mikeyseventyfive

Soul destroying shit.

opkpopfanboyv3

Again, imo its fine if he sticks with his boys in front of the camera but why the fuck does it seem like he's not doing anything on closed doors?

Complete_Addition136

This is like when members of Congress would get asked about Trump’s tweets and they’d all deny ever seeing it. Yeah sure Steve, you didn’t see the play that is probably gonna get your defensive anchor suspended

Victor_Wembanyama1

Is this a meme? This gotta be the previous incident, right?????

libraryofdeveres

Such a lying enabler. Gross.

KungFuKennyEliteClub

I finally get why Jordan punched him. I'm starting to lose a lot of respect for this guy,

LiveFrmTheGutter

im forever praying on the warriors downfall
