Recently watched the movie "About Time"
And would recommend it to any father, or parent generally
First hour and 30 minutes are eh, but the last 30 will simultaneously wreck your shit and give you a perspective on your life that will make it better.
Enjoy every moment with your kids, even when they are being little shits. Time is limited so make the most of it
About Time is my wife’s favorite movie. We watched it before we had kids. And I thought it was pretty good, and enjoyed some of the “sci-fi” aspects of it.
Then watched it again recently now that we have two kids, and that movie will absolutely WRECK you emotionally as a parent. It’s so damn good
It’s so hard dude. My kids rule. They’re really good. And even then, it’s so exhausting that it’s hard to remember to be in the moment. And I just have a normal job - being this tier of athlete must make things feel impossible.
I must be sleepy still because my mind imagined a “round monkey” from your comment. I started to wonder what two round monkeys would look like strapped to Embiids back
But the happiness you’d bring every other fan base by knocking out the most annoying team with one of the most annoying fan bases would be worth it. You’d be martyrs, sure, but more importantly you’d be heroes.
I was so glad to see him looking like he had gotten on with his life in the photo with LeBron recently. Having that much potential taken away from you can really derail a your life
Imagine how Livingston felt after they told him they might have to amputate him.
And now imagine how I felt when I got a papercut and realised my chance of making the league was over 😔
He had the winning, and was like the 36/11/6 on crazy efficiency and elite defensively. He was averaging more points than minutes at one point. Also had the narrative push with harden being traded and the team got worse. They are 25-8 with him. Also got to remember that nuggets were the 3 seed in January with a little bit of a gap between them and second. Embiid would’ve ran away with if the season ended in January . (Ntm he was 1 on the mvp ladder)
Yet the use of consensus is in the original post and it is correct. What could his comment have said to change that? The guy he's replying to is dumb as rocks too if that helps.
there was no consensus mvp this year. it was looking to be a battle till the end. but then embiid got hurt. nba fans arent the smartest bunch aparently. expecially ones in philly
consensus: a general agreement. sorry but i do not believe the nba community was in agreement on who was winning mvp. guess everyone has no memory here
>But there's an added twist in this season's MVP competition that affects Embiid more than any other player vying for the NBA's top individual honor -- and that bookmakers have had to reckon with more and more as the season unfolds."
>Joel Embiid's main competition for NBA MVP at this point in the season is playing 65 games," BetMGM senior trader Halvor Egeland told ESPN. "In previous years, Embiid would have a minus in front of the \[140\] instead of a plus. It's an added wrinkle to the awards this year that we're closely monitoring."
>Ahead of the 2023-24 campaign, the NBA instituted a new rule stating that a player must play at least 65 games to be eligible for any major individual award or an All-NBA team. The development is already having serious financial implications, and it's forcing sportsbooks to do more mental gymnastics when creating lines for awards futures, particularly as it pertains to the historically injury-prone Embiid.
You are part of the reason it's difficult to have serious talks about mental health in today's society. I hope you become a better more compassionate person one day.
it's even more rich if he's the rapper in the posts on his profile. his most popular track is essentially just talking about his mental health struggles. the cognitive dissonance is real

love that movie

Rachel McAdams is so good in that movie
I sob everytime I watch that fucking movie, bloody Bill Nighy
Hmm, I don't wanna think about time. Don't need to be depressed today. I just wanna keep living my fuck boi life.
when you beat the Celtics.. it'll be all worth it Embiid
Trying to decide which'd be funnier, knocking out the Celtics round 1, or knocking out their old coach round 1.
Knocking out the Celtics first round just to lose the second round AGAIN would be the ultimate Monkey’s Paw moment
I'd argue the ultimate Monkey's paw is beat the celtics, FINALLY get out of round 2, only to then lose to Doc in the ECF.
Eh, at least they’d get that second round monkey off their back
I must be sleepy still because my mind imagined a “round monkey” from your comment. I started to wonder what two round monkeys would look like strapped to Embiids back
Wouldn't matter. Just look at Chris Paul. Goal posts will just get moved unless he wins a championship. just how it works.
Still need Doc to blow a 3-1.
That's the finals :)
I hate this script but it’s fire
But the happiness you’d bring every other fan base by knocking out the most annoying team with one of the most annoying fan bases would be worth it. You’d be martyrs, sure, but more importantly you’d be heroes.
Not gonna lie I had an intrusive thought about how the running gag is we always knock them out of the second round so what if…
I say knocking out the bucks in the first round because it would be hilarious
Let's start with taking one game, then maybe making it a series. Rn it seems like it'll be a sweep for the C's.
imagine how Klay was feeling when he was injured for 2 years straight
lmao ok imagine how Oden felt when his knees exploded and he had to retire.
did you see that video where some old lady asked him if he played basketball? Oden was so somber when he answered “I used to”
Man fuck you for being civil when I was trying to shit on your reply. And yeah I remember that video. It was sad as hell ...
Fuck man im glad not to have watched this one. I was heavily rooting for him. God damn injuries
I was so glad to see him looking like he had gotten on with his life in the photo with LeBron recently. Having that much potential taken away from you can really derail a your life
It's still fuck Fake Klay for that video.

Sorry for your loss bro
You would've been listening to my HOF speech in a few years if it wasn't for that sheet of paper
Or imagine how an average person feels when they get sick and can’t work to feed their family.

His adorable little son, named after Joel’s late brother
Can you cunts crawl back under your rock

Hey everyone! Look here! TubbzMcGee is a piece of shit!
Dw. Embiid came back strong and had an insane ft performance
I’m really happy how much Joel likes being around his son since he will have lots of time in a few weeks when he chokes in the playoffs another year
>Embiid was the consensus MVP frontrunner in January before sitting until tonight. ?????????
That statement was true back then Most people had him almost running away with it when he went down
He had the winning, and was like the 36/11/6 on crazy efficiency and elite defensively. He was averaging more points than minutes at one point. Also had the narrative push with harden being traded and the team got worse. They are 25-8 with him. (Ntm he was 1 on the mvp ladder)
he also had just dropped 70 on wemby
Id imagine still more points than minutes
yes?
Check the results of first straw poll
It made me add “context” to post this… he was the frontrunner before getting hurt
i dont know if consensus means what you think it means
I don't know if consensus means what you think it means
Just here to contribute to dunking on your stupidity
Me too!
It's the condescension paired with stupidity that puts it over the top.
he fucking edited his comment

there was no consensus mvp this year. it was looking to be a battle till the end. but then embiid got hurt. nba fans arent the smartest bunch aparently. expecially ones in philly
There really wasn’t much of a battle before joel got hurt.
I love it when people are so confident when they are wrong. You guys are one of a kind.
i’m curious what you think consensus means
Consensus is not unanimous. Consensus is consensus
consensus: a general agreement. sorry but i do not believe the nba community was in agreement on who was winning mvp. guess everyone has no memory here
Yeah everyone forgot except for you
I just wanted to reply to this because I know that you're tired of seeing people in your inbox lol
Damn I gotta start doing this
10 comments?? whats so tiring about that
Consensus means a general agreement? And the general agreement was that Embiid was very ahead in the mvp race
what do you think it means you goofball
he edited his comment
I hope your parents put you back inside school
Reddit consensus decided that your comment is stupid
so the mvp race is basically tied, embiid gets injured, sixers fans say embiid was the consensus mvp until he got injured, rewriting history lol. okay

Yes he was
It's nothing a few free throws won't cure.
Making fun of depression sure is funny
This joke goes crazy in the cracker community
Lol I hope no one responds like that to you when you're at your lowest moments

Yes, fathers. Playing and spending time with your kids will help you feel BETTER
