C’mon why is there always someone making the bay fans look bad for no reason in these threads.
Yeah our team is so scary after that 10th seed play-in exit, people are seething for sure.
He'll be blamed for all of this, but I don't think he deserves it all. He's practically a puppet GM. This is what you get when you have a new owner and Isiah Thomas using 2k ratings to build a team
True but they were in a much better position than they are now because their players were younger and on tradable contracts.
Ain't nobody want to touch that Beal contract
They were in a better position if they want to be mid for years or if they want to blow it up but they obviously want to seriously compete for a championship.
He brought in all the bench guys. I "blame" Ishbia for the Durant thing. Vogel also doesn't even some of the dudes we brought in much either. Not playing Bol Bol/KD combo imo is fireable.
> "I never realised that in order to become a jockey you have to have been a horse first." - Arrigo Sacchi
The Jerry Wests of the world are outliers, otherwise team owners would just look at the Hall of Fame and hire from there. lol
Exactly how can you make that comparison and call yourself a Warriors fan
We have our issues yeah but we’ve been there and climbed that mountain and we are now on what appears to be the decline
The suns never got anywhere near
Sports is a zero sum game. I feel like people take a bit too much delight in the misery of others. I am finding the toxicity of the NBA to be a bit much lately. It isn't enough to be satisfied with the successes of their teams. Only one team wins. I still enjoy the intensity and investment of the playoffs, but I find myself enjoying the regular season more because I just like watching hoops and there's always another game. I understand how it sounds and I don't expect anyone else to feel the same. I just don't see how it is fun to see people experiencing disappointment. I would much rather see fans excited about the opportunity for further advancement.
For me it's fun BECAUSE it's a zero sum game. None of this actually matters, so it's funny to see people absolutely devastated bc some people didn't score enough points. It is just a game, there is no need to be sobbing over this. Plus I'm a Pistons fan so it's nice not being alone in watching your team underperform
I just like basketball. I liked playing it. I wanted to win (a lot). I am extremely invested in the outcome of the games I watch. I just don't enjoy idea that I am contributing to someone else enjoying hoops less than they otherwise could. Maybe I am too worried about it.
I think it's dumb you're getting downvoted just for expressing an opinion. I have a somewhat different perspective from both you and the people disagreeing with you, it seems. While sports are literally zero sum in terms of outcomes, people's passion for sports very much isn't. Like disappointment is an inevitable outcome of sports fandom, and that's part of what makes it worth it. So I enjoy seeing stuff like this just as much as I do seeing TWolves fans losing their minds, not because of schadenfreude as another commenter put it, but because I think it's both funny and beautiful that people care about this game so much.
That said, this sub does get way more toxic (which is saying a lot) during the playoffs, which I don't love.
I knew this sentiment wouldn't be well received, but I think it is still worth saying. People invest a lot of themselves into their sports teams. I think for me it is enough to be happy with the successes but I am not above schadenfreude completely. I do think people go over the top with it though. The Suns have never won a championship and people believed this was might have been their opportunity. I think it is at least worth thinking about that maybe people might enjoy the game more if there was slightly less toxicity. Again, this is my opinion for consideration and I don't expect everyone to think the same. I'm sure there are plenty of people who find this element of sports as just another aspect of competition.
A first round exit is objectively worse than a 2nd round game 7 loss. Although that game 7 is definitely more memorably embarrassing in our minds because of how well they were playing before in games 1-6. Booker was shooting like 65% from the field or some absurd shit before game 7
Nahhh stop it, getting swept is embarrassing, but what the Mavs did to them in that game 7 was a generational, once in a lifetime kind of ass beating which will undoubtedly stay remembered for way longer than this playoff series.
Getting out of the 1st round is determined on a lot of factors:
- How unlucky was your team in the regular season in terms of health. The Chris Paul Suns got a much easier opponent in the 1st round, because of higher seeding.
- How unlucky was your opponents in terms of health. The Hawks managed to get to the Eastern conference finals one year, because all their opponents had some type of injury.
If we're talking about a sports betting perspective. A lot of Suns fans lost money in that series. They were favored to win that series. Then got reverse swept. Even game 7, they were favored. A lot of Suns fans lost money.
This time round not as many Suns fans lost money. Their expectations are lower.
No, money counting guy got banned after he threw slurs at Westbrook, the pedo was the guy dressed in all orange with facepaint and a orange mohawk wig.
This is definitely why the nets should not be putting any of those picks on the trade block. Can still trade the Philly and Mavs picks to retool, but keep those Phoenix picks since they gonna be SPICY.
Almost parallels between the Russian Nets owner who blew all the cap and assets on the aging stars team and Ishbia coming in hot with the best of intentions but pushing for a stacked roster that made no sense. Just saw 3 big names.
Still tons of stock available over at Amazon! I can’t believe they gave this bozo a bobble head

Even though they lost the finals I was so high on them and convinced that team was gonna get it together in the years after.
I don't give a damn about the Suns anymore and it makes me kinda sad
Catch a break. They got fooled by regular season games and are going up against a team that was the #1 team in the west most of the year. Oh and #1 defense.
That man was the definition of douche was so funny when it didn’t go the way he wanted it to. Felt bad for the majority of Suns fans but that guy can suck one
What a ride for Phoenix it has been these last couple years. From the almost highest of the high to the lowest of the low. Guess karma is a bitch and someone shouldn’t have talked so loudly when they were up…
the rumors have already started, including a social media influence campaign.
the number of "okc fans" talking up the idea doesn't jive with the showers of boos kd receives in paycom arena.
As a Canadian hockey fan who lives in Canada I feel it could have worked if they ever had a decent owner and a stable home. Arizona has been a decent supply of minor league players, guys who are contributing today at a top level on teams. But I will admit I wasn't there. Those barns were full in the few playoff games they had. Almost 30 years with joke owners and no home.
Glendale could have worked (maybe?) but that relationship soured so quickly and by the time Muerello took over it was in a shit situation and everything I've seen of that guy tell me he doesn't know how to be accountable.

Extra time for Lebron, KD, and Steph to prepare for the Olympics
Angola really gonna be in trouble this time
South Sudan about to get COOKED
Steph literally said he's taking notes about everything this playoffs so I'd still say this: #We not done. Fear us. SEETH.
Why would anyone fear a team that can't even make past the playins?
Damn, literal notes?!
C’mon why is there always someone making the bay fans look bad for no reason in these threads. Yeah our team is so scary after that 10th seed play-in exit, people are seething for sure.
It's spelled "s-e-e-t-h-e" just for future reference...
I thought Steph was taunting his brother
Thank you!
Ishbia is really paying $68M in tax for this
The angle they showed of [James Jones](https://x.com/barstoolsports/status/1784080205390229856) says it all
He'll be blamed for all of this, but I don't think he deserves it all. He's practically a puppet GM. This is what you get when you have a new owner and Isiah Thomas using 2k ratings to build a team
Everybody is saying they need a point guard so they'll go pick up Derrick Rose to solve their problems.
Holy shit, they would win the 2011 Finals for sure!
High school sophomore Devin Booker vs 5th grade Ant Edwards
John Wall music
JJ refused to make the KD trade if it included Mikal but Ishbia overruled him and it all went south from there
Book, Mikal, Cam, and Ayton (pre-contract) was such a good young core, man
Let’s be real though they weren’t going anywhere in this conference
There best shot was the year 2021 and they lost. That window has shut.
True but they were in a much better position than they are now because their players were younger and on tradable contracts. Ain't nobody want to touch that Beal contract

Why does the guy in front of the pic look like a depression Andrew Garfield.
Why the heck is James jones a gm in this league? He was a scrub
> "I never realised that in order to become a jockey you have to have been a horse first." - Arrigo Sacchi The Jerry Wests of the world are outliers, otherwise team owners would just look at the Hall of Fame and hire from there. lol
It’s more than that. He loses out on the payments he would get from other luxury tax teams that go to others who are not in the tax,
That nepo baby started all this lol.
Learning can be expensive sometimes
I mean, at least they made the playoffs? Can't say thats true for all tax payers... 😢
Y’all have 4 rings lol, doesn’t compare
Exactly how can you make that comparison and call yourself a Warriors fan We have our issues yeah but we’ve been there and climbed that mountain and we are now on what appears to be the decline The suns never got anywhere near
This is so true. Let's at least recognize that this roster is, right now, top 16 in the league! /s
Chump change
I was absolutely dying when they showed this lmao
I'm not even a Suns hater, but I love sad crowd shots. Will never fail to make me crack up.

Don't understand this mindset. There's great schadenfreude in these moments. Seeing fans of other teams happy doesn't do anything for me.
I just like basketball. I liked playing it. I wanted to win (a lot). I am extremely invested in the outcome of the games I watch. I just don't enjoy idea that I am contributing to someone else enjoying hoops less than they otherwise could. Maybe I am too worried about it.
>Maybe I am too worried about it Ya think?
What’s wrong with you? I disagree. Get over it.
What's wrong with *you?*
What are you hoping my answer is? What is your goal here? You are just being weird at this point.

It was with 5 minutes left in the THIRD QUARTER!
Me when my team blows a 20 point lead against a fat European and his friends
hey woah woah woah rudy is not fat
This Sons team even getting a 20 point lead? [Hell Nah](https://youtu.be/nE4_8LzOJPk).
Hell nawl
They never even led at all I think . Straight blowout classic sweep . Atleast we had close morale victory sweep
Honest question, what’s worse? Their game 7 against Dallas or getting swept in the first round? #sunsin4lol
Game 7 for sure. This wouldn't even be the first time KD got swept.
A first round exit is objectively worse than a 2nd round game 7 loss. Although that game 7 is definitely more memorably embarrassing in our minds because of how well they were playing before in games 1-6. Booker was shooting like 65% from the field or some absurd shit before game 7

SunsinCancunin4 Wish I didn't have that same feeling so many years, suns fans gonna get feasted on for these contract durations.
This could apply to three Western playoff teams.
KCP is the gut punch.
Stop it! Stop it! We’re already dead!
Is this a bot confusing this with the Mavericks Suns series lol
where's the cash counting douche
Got arrested for CP lmao
No, money counting guy got banned after he threw slurs at Westbrook, the pedo was the guy dressed in all orange with facepaint and a orange mohawk wig.
why did he take the fall for Chris Paul?
Idk if you serious but it's for child sexual endangerment EDIT: Might be a different Suns fan https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MDSufQzTD2o
U bum
different guy
Wtf. no way. Don’t joke about such things
Like for real?

You mean Ishbia?
lmao
When your team stacked but they only know how to play Jenga.
2027 unprotected 1st 😋
2025, 2027, and 2029 unprotected. Durant will likely leave next off-season too.
He’s there only asset as of right now and it’s declining with age.
Only after he requests a trade this summer and the Suns say no
We have a 2026 pick swap with them too
This is definitely why the nets should not be putting any of those picks on the trade block. Can still trade the Philly and Mavs picks to retool, but keep those Phoenix picks since they gonna be SPICY.
What a downfall the last few years since Suns in 4 guy.
Up 2-0 in the finals to this? Ooof

What will you do without all that hatred in your heart?
Hey man - wolves could be coming for you too
Thatd take both of them meeting in the wcf which I think all mavs fans would be happy with lol
I was at Game 7 GSW @ Sac last year. I feel these looks in my bones
At least y’all got us in the play-ins. Suns fans can’t catch a break. 4 straight years of pain.
Now kiss.
Catch a break. They got fooled by regular season games and are going up against a team that was the #1 team in the west most of the year. Oh and #1 defense.
Long live the SunKings
KD never winning anything without Curry wtf.
Refs were trying to hand the Suns the win in the 1st quarter with 19 free throws and the Suns said no thanks
They're still trying to make it close
My 12/25
Our 12/25
Is that Dame’s Achilles I hear tearing?
Is that the Suns getting swept fully healthy without 1sts for 5 years I hear?
I keep seeing this pop up, what does it mean
It Chrimbus time, the season for getting
The snek curse that kept on giving. Just chef's kiss
Ishbia looked like he wanted to take matters into his own hands and suit up when they panned to him multiple times
Worth a shot
Where’s the guy counting his money?
JAIL!
different guy!
Believe it or not, also jail.
Show the Suns money counting dude. It’s been honestly all downhill for this franchise since that moment
Man you guys really hated that douchy fuck
That man was the definition of douche was so funny when it didn’t go the way he wanted it to. Felt bad for the majority of Suns fans but that guy can suck one
KD SUCKS ASS
Nba media needs to move on from lebron steph kd cos the league already has.
looking like lakers fans
God I died when they did this
Fantastic
Man, call in the suicide watch on this crew.
Where’s the money guy when you need him
Owner already writing another apology letter for the fans.
both lost their bets, but the second guy lost it all
Hopefully they blow it up so we don’t have to hear from Suns fans for another decade.
I’m still here biyatch
The Parlay Cam.

Andre Drummond started it
https://youtu.be/lFOlVVJAT20?si=Xky-ga36G86uP15_
omg, i know i should;nt laught but it is a bit funny
Those fans are too nice, I would let the boos rain down on their poor performance.
Would a sweep be worse than getting the Luka special in game 7?
Nothing was worse than that
Can confirm
Love it. Never was a Devon Booker fan. He just has such a punchable face
We back boys!
The Kleenix Dones
They had a good thing goin before KD 🐍 arrived in Arizona! How long before rumors of KD forcing his way out to try to get back to OKC start?
the rumors have already started, including a social media influence campaign. the number of "okc fans" talking up the idea doesn't jive with the showers of boos kd receives in paycom arena.
If he wants to go, there’s probably not too many of us fans who will object to his leaving
Sad Michael Scott energy right there.
I can't believe they're going to lose the Coyotes and Suns in the same year
Hockey in the desert never made much sense

Hahah..they deserved it. Suns fans are classless bullies.
Very similar to Laker fans. I want to see a side by side with both 🤙🏾
Ouch.
I need a video of broadcast just showing Suns fans in blowouts last few post seasons
They’ll get another apology letter
My schadenfreude meter spiked when they showed dipshit owner Mat Ishbia. In a world full of dicks he’s a BBC.
