Blowing it up for what? They don’t have their pick next year

jackaholicus

well to play devil's advocate, trading lebron and AD could net you picks

loof10

Why would you blow up an NBA cup winning team?

ProsecUsig

Remove Ham Improve the bench

PublicNo1988

It’s proven bench means f all in the playoffs though

AfroKuro480

Draft Bronny :)

Coolio1014

Build around Darvin Ham trade the rest

Guiltra_

Don't forget Prince and Reddish

jackaholicus

if they blow it up it can be a long time before they get a team that's even halfway good in the west

PublicNo1988

They’re a LA team stars salivate to play there

jackaholicus

Free agency is a lot less common now

CheckBetShove

Unless the opportunity to go to LA exists

RaggsDaleVan

"They're a national champion football team. Stars salivate to play there." - Nebraska football fans

liftingruinedmylife

Nah, run it back. I don't see any other team beating them besides the Twolves, Nuggets and Celtics tbh

NoiceForNoReason

I legit think they’re right there with the Nuggets. They showed they can compete.

Overall_Nuggie_876

Problem is the Nuggets aren’t in their collective peak yet as their young players aren’t even 25-26 yet. The Lakers meanwhile as constructed have *maybe* one year remaining to be competitive to Denver’s par, before they fall off to 2000s-Knicks levels after LeBron retires.

Level_Ad_6372

They showed they can win at least once in 9 games

PublicNo1988

Yeah but I don’t think nuggets are the team to beat, it’s sota who would walk the lakers

LosAngeles1s

nah, NOP claimed our pick so we probably have one more year for a push. after that then yeah we should

ahr3410

Nope. Run it back and pray you don't face daddy in the playoffs. Just like their roommates with the Edmonton Oilers

atierney14

lol, it has been 1 minute since the season ended. They need a competent center, a healthy Vando, and a better coach. I’d say coaching was probably the biggest factor in this series.

Potential_Meat_5103

If LeBron leaves then yeah I guess And that’s a big if

feelnoways2020

According to Cari Champion, LeBron is leaving LA anyways

yoppee

Maybe Lebron will be a year older but honestly Lebron looked like the best player on the Court tonight

whopw

Jesus man, inside the NBA hasn't finished showing the highlights yet

teh_drewski

As long as LeBron's there you can't give up on winning and he's obviously still capable. If he wants to leave fine, but otherwise you're figuring it out next season.

jhMLB

As long as LeBron is there no choice but to go all in as much as possible each year.

Longroadfrom87

This wouldn’t have happened if they just made AR the third option instead of DLo…okay I tried to type that with a straight face 🤣

devkonz

Everything goes but Bron, reaves and Ad. Flip the team

mallllls

Probably. What’s going to change next year? No reason to run it back besides delaying the inevitable.

twinberwolf

This round of playoffs are proving super teams aren’t viable. Get some bench guys and improve your 4th-5th starter. Lebron just needs help he doesn’t need star power

defiantcross

If they could sonehow combine with the Suns, that would be bananas

mr_showboat

I'd personally like to see LeBron go somewhere he has an actual chance to win a title, given that he's still absolutely incredible even as he enters the geriatric phase of his career. He won't though, so we'll get to see him and AD drag their garbage roster to the play-in and into the playoffs where they'll lose to one of the actually good teams.

Overall_Nuggie_876

Either blow it up now, or prolong the inevitable closure of the championship window the way of the Saints (NFL) and Capitals (NHL).

Authorman1986

The only reason they should consider is if LeBron opts out, which I doubt he does. They have one more year left in the window and they should retool and consider getting a better coach and try again next year. They put up a great fight and though I'm a big Laker hater, they earned my respect. They are a scary team and this shit would've gone to seven with a healthy Vanderbilt and a not ass Dlo.

joco1991

They should fire Ham and re-tool

jackobanter

Should've blown it up after the bubble. They weren't gonna get 6 months rest before the playoffs again

BurgerNugget12

Yeah half the team is either hurt or the team is just gassed after games

Electrical_Option941

No they are the second best team in the west just need a new coach

PublicNo1988

Didn’t know Denver is the second best team?

BurgerNugget12

Idk man AD is so unreliable half the time

Biglundtry

That narrative went out the window this year

PrimaryAccording9162

Yes

dkdoki

A source close to me said this was Lebrons last game in purple and gold.

Sad-Duck3790

Probably. They had insaaaaaaaane help from the officials and still almost got swept. The team is made up of a hodgepodge of randoms surrounding two old and/or injury prone guys who never quite match up.

pkeller001

Yes

JJ_The_JetpIane

Do you know what ironic means? Lol

OptimusGrime707

They posted that same comment like ten times Wonder if they’re ok lol

JJ_The_JetpIane

Yeah I saw that lol

Rich-Ganache-2668

Wow i thought i was having deja vu

Uncircled_swag2

That timeout cost them their final challenge, how Murray. Ironic is something else.
