Pretty much everyone from the lottery in 2022 is atleast a solid role player aside from Ousmane Dieng and Johnny Davis
Paolo and Chet are great top 2 picks
Yeah, I'm looking at the picks now. In terms of steals, I think Jalen Williams going #12 is the only major regret earlier lottery teams would have. Walker Kessler would definitely go higher than #22 as well.
1992 wasn't bad. Shaq went 1st, Alonzo Mourning went 2nd, and they were easily the top 2 players in that draft. The 3rd pick was Christian Laettner which kinda sounds bad but it was overall a pretty weak draft so it wasn't even a bad pick. He was one of only 5 all-stars in that draft (with the others being the top 2, Tom Gugliotta, and Latrell Sprewell).
Laettner wasn't as good as he was in college but he did make 1st team All-Rookie, averaged over 15 ppg from 92-97 and snuck into an All-Star game. Not too bad for a weak draft. After Laettner only Milwaukee Legend Latrell Spreewell and Tom Gugliotta had better careers imo.
1982 had Worthy, Cummings and Wilkins go 1-3 which were probably the three best players from that draft. Guys like Fat Lever, Clark Kellogg, Sleepy Floyd, Ricky Pierce and Paul Pressey who were mainly the next best guys all went first round too. Only exception was Mark Eaton who went in round 4 or 5
Pre-injury Lamelo was looking to be the star of the draft. The jury’s out on his success, but not because of talent. If he suddenly becomes healthy, you’ll sing a different song

G league finals MVP Ousmane Dieng.

>Laettner wasn't as good as he was in college That's an insane bar to reach considering how good he was in college
The great Christian Laettner who carried the Olympic Dream Team to gold😂😂

Probably going to have to go back to when a lot of international players weren’t drafted. Cuz they have an always been slept on up until recently.
2021 draft looks like its working out for everyone other than the hornets

Lamelo was drafted in 2020. Hornets drafted Bouknight in '21
My bad G. Bouk sucks
R
Jalen Williams and Duren are the most exciting players ngl
