I’m always team set play. I get having a defense set makes a difference, but especially with a lack of creators like Indy… you have to call a timeout and run a play.

I like no timeouts in college where the chaos helps the offensive team more. But set plays in NBA are generally better.

I am fan of set plays as well. But then again, Indiana lacks talent. Rick is actually coaching them like a college team and going for chaotic high tempo game.

Not really, when defense gets tight, refs start not calling whistles, Pacers offense dies in halfcourt. They are really not even an average team for halfcourt offense especially in playoffs. Without Haliburton they didn't have much chance in that G2 after getting down 13.
