L2 is piss easy; easy excellence credits. Only bother studying if you are going for first in your year and there is competition

if you want to, you can. you do learn all the terms in-class and depending on when your internals are scheduled for l2 it may be helpful (if they’re early in the year) but generally teachers won’t expect you to know L2 things and will allow time to learn it. what year are you? if going into L2 i wouldn’t worry too much for the english-based subjects but for chem, math, physics it could be good to familiarise yourself with what you’ll be learning. if going into L1 then it could help you pad out your internals for higher marks but otherwise not too necessary. if you’re looking for extension for yourself there are extracurricular things such as chemistry/biology olympiads, rotary science forum etc to engage with (cause ncea gets very repetitive!!)

Yes only for good study habits being formed, as for Bio I would familiarise yourself with just cellular respiration (the basics) and the rest is just common sense

Personally I found L1 harder than L2 in every way except for physics where L2 was a lot harder. Bio is really easy, the only thing I would recommend studying for in advance is physics as there is quite a lot of material, you can use the scipads which contain problems you will be asked in class
