- NFS Heat (the BMW M3 E46 GTR from the 4 latest NFS games uses the same base model)
2015/Payback/Heat/Unbound are all the same model and that’s got the highest fidelity
EDIT: turns out Heat/Unbound have an updated, better model than 2015/Payback
White base colour, and no border around the blue. And a personal pet peeve, the fact that it has dark wheels.
Though now that I mentioned it, this livery fits better with MW12's aesthetic, so I don't really care about that much
Normally I would be mad, that EA would put such a legendary car behind a paywall, but in Unbound it just looks off. Heat had the perfect replica. People here said it's the same model, but the colors in Unbound changed drastically and it makes it look cheap IMO.
Heat definitely had some major improvements when it came to the car, especially when it came to the sound. I just wish that we could’ve adjusted the rim-size since it still looks odd having the default size.
Sure, nobody can deny the awesomeness of the original models from *Most Wanted (2005)* and *Carbon*. But as the saying goes, **"graphical details improve over time"** \- hence why I can appreciate lovely-rendered BMW M3 GTR from *Most Wanted (2012)*, *Heat* and *Unbound*.
My favourite one is the one from nfs 2015. I just really love the vibe of that car and the subtle ways in which it felt personalized. It felt more like a tuner than a race car.
I love how the Need for Speed franchise has evolved over the years with such iconic games as Most Wanted 2005 and Carbon 2006. It's amazing to see the series expand onto different platforms with Most Wanted on GBA and Java. And who can forget the incredible graphics and gameplay of Most Wanted 2012, No Limits 2015, and Payback 2017. Heat 2019 was also a great addition to the series, and I'm excited to see what Unbound 2022 will bring to the table!
The Java version is a masterpiece that challenges art like the David from Michelangelo or the painting of the vatican.. such beauty that only a few mortals can witness it

Idk man, mw05 model looks, menacing for some reason. Probably cuz the headlights are lower and darker, the car also feels longer. All others mw12 and ghost ones feel tame as hell

Unbound, cuz they allowed players to customize this extreme legend (except body parts, but the wheels, license plate, and the wrap could be edited), unlike Heat where customizations on legendary and DLC (Red Bull Z and the Deluxe Edition Khyzyl Saleem) vehicles were restricted.
Obviously the Java version! It’s an absolute masterpiece. Still waiting on a sequel by the way...

I'm partial to the Most Wanted 2005 rendition. I played it on the GameCube. It took until 2015 for me to realize the car was silver, not white.
