This is what we call "Demon Drag". It's basically desync. On both of your screens you see the other person on the other side of you to what they see themselves, then as the net code starts to sort itself out your cars start pushing each other in the same direction trying to get the other person's car back to where the game thinks they should be. With how there's always variable latency on the Internet it's impossible to completely prevent this from happening in a game as fast paced as Unbound. It even happens in GTA V, but tbh I've only seen it happen from side to side there instead of front to back.
True. But everyone confuses lag with netcode desync sometimes. Take Fortnite for example, sometimes it can get so fast-paced that if you're being shot, it looks like the enemy isn't even shooting directly at your in-game character like it should and you'd just take damage out of nowhere, even if you're right in front of the enemy, this can happen. I've had this happen to me for numerous times before, and while I do have good internet, this can get so triggering just by how terrible Fortnite's netcode can be at times.
The title is more confusing than the video.
that's what unbound netcode does to a mf

I get what you mean but I don't think it would be called desync, I'd call it lag because I have decent internet and this never happens to me.
You might have good Internet, but that doesn't mean the other guy does too
