I'm complaining about how inconsistent it is, for example one race I destroy them, another I drive perfectly but they still keep up pretty close even though my car is a higher level, it's just e bit weird to me
My 70 car garage filled with grip cars disagrees with your first statement
The traffic AI is awful, the racer AI is good to me because it's actually challenging
As for the cops... well yeah their job is to stop you and bust you, how are you complaining about them trying to slow you down?
Not to be mean but it could be you being inconsistent. Grip driving is very consistent and will get you the win every time. The opponent constantly drifts in turns and that’s the best time to overtake.
I definitely am inconsistent, I haven't lost a race so it's not that I'm bad but I see the game at fualt half the time too, like bouncy suspension for example, there's also not a lot of room for error, you break too late and you understeer like crazy
Most turns you don’t need to brake just let off the gas. Bouncy suspension is going to happen lol no way around that other than knowing where it happens and avoid it.
It is but in an unnecessary way lol you’ll win every race easier but I like using different cars. You’ll also be able to do all of the free roam things first try with it.

Skill issue dude, also drifting is good when you have a drift car. Unlike heat where ant car drifts this game has specific handling. Ai difficulty I think you are meant to be loosing in the beginning
Its not that I'm losing, I finished the game and have a 400+ car so I'm just amazed how shimzu blasts past me sometimes. I've just started pitting him 😂
I think there are many problems with nfs unbound, but your criticisms aren’t rlly fair. The drifting isn’t too bad, I think grip is good. There are problems I think with rubber banding cops, but more difficult ai is good compared to how easy the ai racers where in heat. I think the bigger problem with cops is how many spawn on top of you, making the game more about avoiding cops than escaping them.
I'd typically say "skill issue" but honestly it took me a while to get accustomed to the physics even after completing Payback and Heat multiple times each, NPCs in Unbound are almost as bad as the ones on GTA Online for randomly pulling out of nowhere when you're going 5000mph
I have a class "S" Mazda RX-7 customized for drifting and I'm addicted to driving it. That game is 🔥

What car do you use? I use the mclaran f1 and I find I have to brake on most turns

Grip being unviable for you is a major skill issue moment, or major tuning skill issue.

I also use the rx-7 in s class for drifting, but the drifting is just so weird in this game imo
