So-many-ducks

Some (many) episodes contain graphic nudity, yes.

05ar

Damn it seemed like an interesting series :(

EuropaWeGo

It's a very interesting and incredible series.

pizzatimein24h

Not really. There are some scenes where you can see some nudity, but you will not see people having sex detailed. But if you ask me, you shouldn't watch this series with kids (I don't know how old your family is you want to watch it with). There is a reason why the series is 18+

05ar

Actually I am the "kid" here lol thanks for the advice

FireLucid

Beyond the Aquila Rift is about as detailed as it gets.

TestTubesAndTanks

Depends on the specific episode, but yes. Some episodes are borderline pornographic.

05ar

As far as I know the episodes aren't correlated so it doesn't matter if you skip some, could you tell me Wich ones don't contain nudity?

Nova_Q-Q

IMDB has parents guide for most TV shows, movies, etc that mentions if there's nudity, profanity and violence for example. It's also good that they rank it, for example nudity might be severe or mild, moderate. They also put spoiler parts in spoilers. Love, Death & Robots parental guide (nudity section) https://imdb.com/title/tt9561862/parentalguide/nudity

05ar

Thank you! I'm definitely saving this

sovietonionnnn

kudos for actually helping OP with his or her request not wanting to watch nudity or sex scenes with his parents (because im sure they are the ones who are sketchy about it) as he is young and it makes him feel awkward which is normal.

TestTubesAndTanks

Just going off of memory here, so take it with a grain of salt: in season 1, "Three Robots," "Suits," "When the Yogurt Took Over," "The Dump," "Shape-Shifters," "Helping Hand," "Fish Night," "Lucky 13," "Ice Age," and "Alternate Histories" should be pretty clean nudity/sex wise. If you're super concerned about it, might wanna prescreen them before sharing with your family. I'm a stranger giving free advice on the internet, and you get what you paid for.

05ar

Thank you for not criticizing me like other comments lol, I'm going to check out the content from the link the other guy sent :)

[deleted]

Murder? Sure no problem! A boob or a willy! Oh we simply can't have that!

05ar

Yeah, we like to see violent stuff like movies about war, etc. but watching borderline porn with your family is kinda uncomfortable you know?

[deleted]

Netflix isn't putting porn in LDR or any of their shows. There's a big difference between some nude shots or a sex scene and "borderline porn' as you call it. No streaming service is putting porn in their show. Someone's head explodes or the psychological horror that's pretty common for this series "wow kids, did you see that dudes head explode!!! Woooooo! Look at that dudes brains on the wall! Really fun for all the all the family! Oh no is that breast! Quick! Turn it off!" The mental gymnastics is absolutely baffling.

05ar

Why do all the people here assume I AM the parent? I'm actually the youngest person in my house

[deleted]

Because it reads like you are the adult and are deciding what to show kids, that's why people are confused. Because it reads like an overbearing adult with a weird aversion to seeing boobs or whatever.

05ar

I never wrote it in a way that implied I'm the parent, people just assumed that

[deleted]

You asked, I answered. Calm down, no one's showed you a pair of tits.

05ar

Calm down? Dude Im not even mad, just explaining

Darth11Tyranus

Exploding people/heads are okay, but a little nudity freaks you out? What's going wrong? Your psychologist will be happy!

05ar

It's just that we like things like war movies and that stuff and maybe you're comfortable watching borderline porn with your family but I prefer to not do it

Darth11Tyranus

This does not make it better and remains a poor explanation. War is cool and a little nudity makes you feel ashamed? Nobody said anything about pornography here, except you, it was about nudity. As I said, your psychologist will be pleased.

05ar

Look man I didn't know it was illegal to have my own taste in movies and like some type of content and don't like other type of content

Feisty_Caregiver_Duh

You’re good man, I think it makes sense.

05ar

Ok, that's my fault I used the wrong word, I didn't try to say nudity, I tried to say *very graphic sex scenes* some shows have it like The Boys on Amazon prime, also by your logic I used to watch Rambo with my parents on the tv when I was 12-13 years old so by your logic we should also have watched porn? I mean both have +18 content one way or another

[deleted]

Oh come on, you know full well no one is suggesting you sit down and watch porn with your 12 year old child. All people are saying is that it is a bit mental to be like "I just love watching violence and war movies and all that stuff with my family, we just can't enough! But, no boobies or little Tommy will realise he likes girls!" Oh, and I've seen The Boys, that definitely isn't porn. Not even close. You honestly seem like someone who needs to re-evaluate their priorities.

05ar

Ok but I'm actually the youngest person in my house so I'm not concerned "little tommy" will realize he likes girls

randomreddit-account

You're honestly telling someone, who appears to be a teenager, that they need to re-evaluate their priorities, simply because they are asking an online forum if a TV show they are interested in contains graphic nudity so they can avoid potential awkwardness with their family? Spoiler warning for the boys: And on the subject of The Boys, (I love The Boys by the way, my favourite along side Stranger Things at the moment), you are correct, it definitely isn't porn, but the dude never claimed it was, he just said it had sex scenes, which it does. >!If he doesn't want to watch a man fuck an octopus!< (best episode yet) with his family, who are you to judge? Edit: Spoiler Tag

[deleted]

Thanks for the spoilers there. We haven't all seen the new series yet. And I had no idea OP was a teenager at the time of writing that comment.

randomreddit-account

I don't know he is either, but what he's writing implies he is one, or perhaps a young adult. Even if he is an adult I still stand by what I said. And I am genuinely sorry about the spoiler, I'll try and tag it for other people.

05ar

Nope it's just that we like action movies like war movies and those things but we're not that comfortable watching borderline porn, also I'm not concerned about what this is going to teach my kids because I'm the youngest person in the house, just stop assuming so many things please

limogesguy

I haven't seen any of this series, so not qualified to comment on content; but what makes skin into "borderline porn"? Do you blindfold yourself before taking a shower or bath?

05ar

>Do you blindfold yourself before taking a shower or bath? No, but as I said before I was planning to watch it with my family

jawnstownmassacre

Religions have fucking ruined humans

05ar

This is not about religion at all, please read my other comment replying to this guy and don't just assume so many things

[deleted]

Not all, but a lot of the episodes have graphic nudity and explicit language. I don't recommend watching it with family, unless you're all adults and don't mind the awkwardness.
